Osama Bin Laden warned Iraq's Sunni Arabs against joining tribal councils fighting al-Qaeda or participating in any unity government in a new audiotape posted on the Web on Saturday.

Bin Laden also made an unusually sharp threat of attacks against Israel, saying, ''I would like to assure our people in Palestine that we will expand our jihad there.''

''We intend to liberate Palestine, the whole of Palestine from the (Jordan) river to the sea,'' he said, threatening ''blood for blood, destruction for destruction.''

Bin Laden and other al-Qaeda leaders frequently vow to liberate Jerusalem and Palestine in their messages. But the latest comments were a more direct language than Bin Laden usually uses. Israel has warned of growing al-Qaeda activity in Palestinian territory, but the terror network is not believed to have taken a strong direct role there so far.

''We will not recognize even one inch for Jews in the land of Palestine as other Muslim leaders have,'' Bin Laden said.

France Takes a Stand Against Syria

Sarkozy has said that France will boycott Syria until assad let's Lebanon appoint a new president by consensus.

France will have no more contact with Syria until Damascus shows its willingness to let Lebanon end its current crisis and appoint a new president, President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Sunday.

France "will have no more contact with Syria... until we have proof of Syrian willingness to let Lebanon appoint a president by consensus," Sarkozy told journalists following talks in Cairo with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Former colonial power France "wants a president for Lebanon," Sarkozy said. "It's time to provide proof (of goodwill), it's time for Syria to show it."

"It's time for Syria to prove with facts what it has not stopped saying in speeches," Sarkozy said. "We are now waiting for acts on Syria's part and not speeches

I think its great that France finally has leadership with the courage to take a stand against an evil tyrant like assad rather than appeasing him. However, after rightly taking a stand against an evil Arab regime you are always required to express the proper amount of equivocation and find something to admonish Israel about, just so the muslim world understands you aren't a tool of the Zionist conspiracy out to wage war on the muslim masses.

Explosive Chemicals Smuggled in EU Aid Bags

Israel has found explosive chemicals hidden in EU aid bags marked as sugar. The EU itself has not issued a comment on the matter. The cargo was confiscated in the West Bank heading for Gaza and was seized at an Israeli checkpoint. Those very checkpoints that the world demands Israel remove in order for the palestinians to have more freedom of movement. As we can see without the checkpoints in place it would mean greater freedom of movement for terrorists to murder Israelis. God only knows what massive attack would have occured and how many deaths would have resulted had the IDF not confiscated these explosives. I'm sure however this will not phase the EU one bit and they will continue to send money and aid to the Palestinians and continue to demand Israel ease up on its security measures. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if EU aid workers were involved in this smuggling operation just as the UNRWA was discovered to have been aiding terrorists.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel said on Saturday it had recently seized a truck carrying chemicals used to make explosives hidden in bags marked as EU aid for the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.

The army said 6.5 tons of potassium nitrate were in bags marked as sugar from the European Union for Palestinians in the coastal enclave.

EU officials in Jerusalem had no immediate comment.

The cargo in a Palestinian truck was traveling in the occupied West Bank and seized several weeks ago at an Israeli checkpoint, the army said.

The EU is the largest provider of humanitarian assistance to Gaza. Israel tightened its military and economic cordon of the Gaza Strip after Islamist Hamas seized the territory in a June war with secular Fatah.

Three Israelis were arrested by the PA in Bethlehem because Israelis are forbidden from entering the city or any other Arab city or town for that matter. Now this is a clear example of apartheid actually being practiced by the Arabs and yet there is no hue and cry from the human rights crowd. We won't hear Jimmy Carter or the media or the academic community protesting or calling for boycotts against the PA, or daring to even acknowledge that this policy of no Jews allowed is racism and apartheid. Meanwhile Arabs can enter and even live and are citizens of the Jewish state. So how is it that Israel is the one that gets tainted with the apartheid accusation? How can these people so easily and falsely throw that label on Israel and ignore the real practitioners of apartheid in the Middle East? This is but another example of the left's inversion of reality.

Three Israelis, including an armed Israel Defense Forces soldier, were arrested by Palestinian police officers in Bethlehem next to the Church of the Nativity on Saturday.

The three were brought to Coordination and Liaison offices and transferred to Israeli custody.

The soldier and the two civilians - a 37-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman - are all residents of Palmahim.

Israelis are forbidden from entering Bethlehem. The three said that they had traveled to the West Bank city in order to see its fir trees.

The soldier will be transferred to Military Police and the two civilians will undergo additional police questioning.

Off-Duty IDF Soldiers Murdered

Two IDF soldiers on leave were murdered by islamic jihad mutants south of Hebron while on a hiking trip. There is no possibility of peaceful coexistence with these hateful savages.

Two IDF soldiers on leave were killed on Friday in an apparent drive-by shooting south of Hebron. Cpl. Ahikam Amihai (20) and Sgt. David Ruben (21), both residents of the neighboring settlement of Kiryat Arba, were hiking through the Telem Creek area with an unnamed female companion when a group of four Palestinians drove up towards them and opened fire.

Amihai and Ruben, who both served in elite commando units, were reportedly carrying their firearms with them and were able to return fire, killing one of the Palestinian gunmen and seriously wounding another.

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for the shooting.

The third hiker in the group managed to take cover as the first gunshots were heard and called the Kiryat Arba security headquarters to alert them of the incident. "We've been hit, there are two critically wounded Israelis here," she reported. However the female hiker had difficulty giving rescue services the party's exact location and the searches took over an hour...

The Kiryat Arba local council, where the soldiers are from, rightfully holds the Olmert government accountable for the murders, due to the release and arming of terrorists. But as far as the morally bankrupt left is concerned, I'm sure they believe the soldiers brought it upon themselves for having been "settlers".

The Kiryat Arba Local Council accused the Israeli government of participating in the murder of two Israelis: "Whoever sets terrorists free and gives them guns arms does not have to pull the trigger to be an accomplice," the council said.

MK Yoel Hasson (Kadima) said that Friday's shooting incident increases the need to keep hunting terror organizations, even if some of their members are political leaders.

"(Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas) and the Palestinian leadership must understand that without a real war on terror there will be no real progress in the peace process," Hasson said.

According to the NY Sun, American and Pakistani military leaders believe that multiple precision snipers from the Pakistan military's special forces carried out the assassination of Bhutto.

Any day now the muslim world is going to claim the assassination was a Zionist plot carried out by the Mossad of course.

WASHINGTON — American and Pakistani military leaders are seeking to account for what may be renegade commando units from the Pakistani military's special forces in the wake of the assassination of Pakistan's opposition leader and former prime minister, Benazir Bhutto.

The attack yesterday at Rawalpindi bore the hallmarks of a sophisticated military operation. At first, Bhutto's rally was hit by a suicide bomb that turned out to be a decoy. According to press reports and a situation report of the incident relayed to The New York Sun by an American intelligence officer, Bhutto's armored limousine was shot by multiple snipers whose armor-piercing bullets penetrated the vehicle, hitting the former premier five times in the head, chest, and neck. Two of the snipers then detonated themselves shortly after the shooting, according to the situation report, while being pursued by local police.

A separate attack was thwarted at the local hospital where Bhutto possibly would have been revived had she survived the initial shooting. Also attacked yesterday was a rival politician, Nawaz Sharif, another former prime minister who took power after Bhutto lost power in 1996.

A working theory, according to this American source, is that Al Qaeda or affiliated jihadist groups had effectively suborned at least one unit of Pakistan's Special Services Group, the country's equivalent of Britain's elite SAS commandos. This official, however, stressed this was just a theory at this point. Other theories include that the assassins were trained by Qaeda or were from other military services, or the possibility that the assassins were retired Pakistani special forces.

"They just killed the most protected politician in the whole country," this source said. "We really don't know a lot at this point, but the first thing that is happening is we are asking the Pakistani military to account for every black team with special operations capabilities."

Bhutto Assassination

The latest report is that Bhutto did not die of gunshot wounds, in fact the bullets missed her. She actually died from a fractured skull when her head hit the car's sunroof as she was thrown by the force of the explosion. At least that is what Pakistan is now claiming.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- Benazir Bhutto died from a fractured skull caused by hitting her head on part of her car's sunroof as a bomb ripped through a crowd of her supporters, a spokesman for Pakistan's Interior Ministry said Friday.

"When she was thrown by the force of the shockwave of the explosion, unfortunately one of the levers of the sunroof hit her," said spokesman Brigadier Javed Iqbal Cheema.

The explanation is the latest from the Interior Ministry. It initially said Bhutto was killed by shots fired by the bomber, and then, via the state-run Associated Press of Pakistan, it said the cause of death was a shrapnel injury.

But Farzana Raja of Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party told CNN the government's explanation is "a pack of lies," she told CNN. Raja also accused the government of a "total security lapse."

At a news conference, Cheema showed images of Bhutto in a car, standing up through an open sunroof, looking out at the crowd as she was about to be driven away.

When the gunshots rang out and the explosion occurred, Bhutto "fell down or perhaps ducked" and apparently hit her head on a lever, Cheema said, adding that the lever was stained with blood.

More Terrorists Taken Out in Gaza

The IDF, Shin Bet and the IAF combined to kill eight more mutants in Gaza. A job well done. Continue thinning the herd. In response to some of the commenters at the end of the article, terrorists are not human therefore they are not entitled to human rights and slaughtering them is justified, and is not a human rights abuse. The Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security service killed at least eight Hamas and Islamic Jihad gunmen in three separate incidents in the Gaza Strip Thursday. Among the dead was the head of rocket and explosive manufacturing for Islamic Jihad in Gaza.

Mohammed Abdallah Abu Murshad was killed together with two other operatives when he was struck by Israel Air Force missiles while walking in a refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

In another incident, an IAF aircraft fired at a car containing a large quantity of munitions in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing two Islamic Jihad operatives. A security source said they were on their way to a terror attack. Advertisement


Early Friday morning, IAF missiles killed a Hamas militant and injured five people near Khan Yunis.

Southern Command is gearing up for Qassam rocket fire from Islamic Jihad in response to the killings.

Also on Friday, Mu'tasem Sharif, 22, a member of the PA security forces, was killed by IDF troops outside his Ramallah home while trying to escape arrest.

Sharif was a bodyguard of the Palestinian Authority's chief negotiator Ahmed Qureia.

The IDF said that Sharif opened fire on soldiers during an arrest operation, and they responded in kind, killing him.

According to the IDF, Sharif was suspected of smuggling weapons to Fatah's military wing. Members of the PA's security force and Fatah have been involved of late in attempted or successful attacks on Israelis, including the murder of Kedumim resident Ido Zoldan earlier this month.

Thursday afternoon, three Hamas men were killed near Khan Yunis by fire from an IAF helicopter and an IDF unit on the ground after the militants fired an antitank missile at an IDF bulldozer. Shortly before the incident, a video was broadcast that showed an antitank missile fired at an IDF helicopter gunship. Military sources said the pilots had not noticed the missile, but the video footage would be scrutinized.

So along with all of the other horrible things Israel is responsible for in the Middle East, now it is also to blame for Palestinian mothers abandoning their children to die in the streets, as far as Tim Butcher of the Daily Telegraph is concerned. This is what is so repugnant about the msm, the Arabs are never to be held responsible for their actions no matter how atrocious their behavior. They are always to be portrayed as the victims of Israel. This is the narrative that the msm has created of the Arab-Israeli conflict and they stick by it no matter how often they are taken to task by watchdog groups such as Honestreporting and Camera.

Babies have been abandoned to die on rubbish tips or in the street because the Israeli security wall that now hems in the West Bank city makes it difficult for distressed mothers to reach the Holy Family Children's Home.

Haaretz Editor Urges the U.S. to Rape Israel

Haaretz editor-in-chief, the degenerate David Landau, crudely urged Condoleeza Rice to "rape" Israel. What business does a newspaper editor have of circumventing the democratically elected government of his own country by approaching a representative of a foreign government, and urging that foreign government's representative to do his own country harm? This sounds like treason to me. What an absolutely low-down, vulgar, filthy creature this Landau is. How morally depraved is the "peace now" crowd in Israel? I only wish for Landau himself to be raped by hamas. That would be a fitting punishment for his malicious behavior.

Israelis are known for being direct and blunt. But comments made by David Landau, editor of the Israeli daily, Haaretz, to Condoleezza Rice about Israel needing to be “raped” by the U.S. to achieve a Mideast settlement caused quite a stir among the 20 or so attendees at a confidential briefing with the secretary of state on a recent visit to Israel.
The incident, which took place Sept. 10 at the private residence of America’s ambassador to Israel, Richard Jones, has not been fully reported until now. What is contested is not the raw language Landau used but the context of his impassioned comments.
Following Rice’s briefing to the gathered military, academic and media elites at the dinner, the guests offered their views and comments

about the Mideast impasse. Landau, who was seated next to Rice, was said to have referred to Israel as a “failed state” politically, one in need of a U.S.-imposed settlement. He was said to have implored Rice to intervene, asserting that the Israeli government wanted “to be raped” and that it would be like a “wet dream” for him to see this happen.
When contacted this week, Landau said the description was “inaccurate” and “a perversion of what I said.” He said his views had been delivered with “much more sophistication.”

More Gross Lies Reported About Israel

Here are a couple more disgusting, vicious lies being reported against Israel over the Christmas holiday regarding the plight of Christians in Bethlehem. This one is from Lamis Andoni from her article Christmas in a Strangled Bethlehem:

I live in a predominantly Muslim country, but my family hails from the old town of Bethlehem. The Church of the Nativity has been my family's church for hundreds of years. For us it is not only the site of the birth of Jesus but the venue of dozens of family weddings, christenings and communions. To many in the West, Bethlehem is simply a biblical town. Very few make the connection with the town's people, the Palestinians. When Israeli forces besieged Bethlehem in 2002, Palestinian fighters, mostly Muslims, took refuge in the church.

The Western world knows by heart all the Christmas carols, but it did not pay much attention then to the plight of the town, its people or even the church, bombed by the Israeli army. I was not in Bethlehem that year, but kept calling my family to make sure they were fine. My uncles, aunts, and cousins would reassure me that they were safe, although they were homebound and afraid to get close to the windows for fear of Israeli snipers. But they would all ask me the same question: What will happen to our defenders, the fighters in the Church of the Nativity? Many families were involved in smuggling food into the church, and their hearts went out to the fighters when they finally surrendered. Today Bethlehem remains under siege, strangled by an oppressive apartheid wall...

First of all, Israel never bombed the Church of the Nativity, this is a complete invention on the part of Andoni. Secondly these were terrorists not "fighters" and they didn't merely "take refuge" in the church as she so blandly describes it. They shot their way into the church and held it under seige. They held civilians and members of the clergy hostage. They seized stockpiles of food while their hostages went hungry and they desecrated Christian shrines. But for a Christian dhimmi bitch such as Lamis Andoni, rather than condemn the muslim terrorists for these atrocities and defiling the Church of the Nativity, she ignores these facts and instead chooses to condemn Israel, which caused no damage to the church at all, and in fact acted with restraint during the seige, out of respect for Christians and their holy site.

As to the scurilous charge of the existence of an "oppressive apartheid wall". In the first place, she knows full well it is not an apartheid wall, it is a security barrier. She has nothing to say about the terrorism which created the need for the barrier. Secondly the barrier is mostly a fence, only a small segment of it, which faces an Israeli roadway, is a concrete wall built in order to prevent terrorists from shooting at Israeli motorists. Again, she felt no need to mention these shootings. And of course no mention of muslim persecution of Christians in Bethlehem and elsewhere in the PA run territories.

Then there is this particularly ugly, hideous, veiled antisemitic broadcast from Martin Fletcher of NBC news. A reader of Atlas Shrugs who wrote to NBC:

I am writing to register my disgust with the propaganda piece by Martin Fletcher run by NBC Nightly News on Tuesday, December 25, 2007. This was not a news piece, but rather a slanted editorial employing barely veiled anti-Semitism.

Beginning a few years ago, Israel has been forced to construct a barrier – over 90% a fence, but portions a wall – to prevent homicide bombings and sniper attacks, in which more than 1000 Israeli men, women and children have been murdered, their bodies torn apart by shrapnel. This death toll is proportionally equivalent to well over 50,000 Americans murdered by terrorists. Such barriers were erected after Palestinian Arabs turned down statehood for at least the third – some say the fourth – time. Mr. Fletcher dwelt at length on the clever graffiti of the Palestinian Arabs, but not the funerals of the innocent civilian victims of their bombs, bullets, rockets and missiles. It’s also a shame he missed out on the biggest story for Palestinian-Arab Christians: their relentless persecution and murder at the hands of their Muslim neighbors simply for practicing their religion.

Mr. Fletcher then pulled out what I can only describe as the lowest anti-Semitic canard – Jews being the enemies of Jesus. This was manifest in Mr. Fletcher’s dwelling on one man’s miniature sculpture of the Israeli security barrier preventing the wise men from reaching the baby Jesus. I wish you had shown pictures of the Israeli babies who were literally murdered in their parents’ arms by snipers’ bullets, or by shrapnel from bombs, all courtesy of the Palestinian-Arabs. But that would not have fit your twisted Christmas message for the world; Jews – enemies of Jesus; terrorists – delightful multicultural people. Goebbels would have been proud of you. I had no idea NBC News was so sick. Are you trying to incite a pogrom?

These are examples of how so much of the media when reporting about the Middle East, purposely distorts, leaves out important context and outright lies in order to put Israel in the most negative light possible. It is not possible that they are unaware of for example, muslim mistreatment of Christians, or the purpose of Israel's security barrier and the fact that most of it is a fence, not a wall. Given these incessant lies and misinformation even though they know better, it is hard to come to any other conclusion except that Israel's critics are indeed motivated primarily by antisemitic feelings, no matter how much they protest the charge and falsely accuse us of making the charge in order to stifle criticism of Israel. Evangelicals Funded Iranian Jews Defection to Israel

The covert operation which brought 40 Iranian Jews to Israel, the largest ever influx of Iranian Jews to Israel since Iran's islamic revolution, was financed by the Evangelical group the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. The Evangelical community are often more passionate Zionists than Diaspora Jews and even some Israeli Jews.

TEL AVIV — About 40 Jews who left Iran in secret arrived in Israel yesterday — one of the largest such defections — and got a Christmas present of $10,000 per person from U.S. evangelicals.

The number of Iranian-Jewish emigrants to Israel more than tripled to 200 in 2007, according to officials from the Jewish Agency for Israel, the quasi-governmental organization that promotes immigration to Israel.

A Jewish Agency spokesman credited the increase to a stipend program financed by donations to the Christian Zionist group International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ).

"The money is a major consideration" to come to Israel, said Michael Jankelowitz, a spokesman for the agency. "These people come with the clothes on their back and their suitcase. Iranian money has no value."

Family members of the Iranian emigrants screamed in delight and threw candy at the newcomers as they emerged into the reception hall at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv after a long bureaucratic procedure, the Associated Press reported.

Officials from the Jewish Agency refused to divulge details of the immigrants' journey, such as the airline that brought them to Israel or stopover countries, and kept identities secret for fear of endangering Jews still in Iran.

Some former soccer star from Argentina who I and most Americans have never heard of, Armando Maradona, wants to meet with Iran's vile little dictator. What would motivate a celebrity who lives in freedom and material comfort embrace a brutal, evil dictator? I don't think it's a stretch to assume the answer lies in the fact that he hates America and is also likely an antisemite. The fact that this hideous little creature who rules Iran also happens to brutally oppress his own people doesn't matter in the least. As long as he opposes America and Israel, he is to be supported and embraced as a hero. Such is the morally depraved state of the modern left which has shunted aside human rights and aligns with fascists, for the greater goal of defeating America and Israel who the left considers its real enemies. Buenos Aires, 24 Dec. (AKI) - Football legend Diego Armando Maradona has said that he would like to meet the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

At a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Buenos Aires Mohsen Baharavand, the former international football star handed the Iranian officials an autographed football shirt and said that he would like to travel to Tehran and meet Ahmadinejad.

Iranian Cleric Calls for the Death of Unveiled Women

One of Iran's top turbans has said that women not wearing the muslim head scarf should die along with their husbands and fathers. Is there any belief system more insane than islam? And he is the representative of Iranian supreme leader khamenei who those brilliant foreign policy "realists" in the west say is a pragmatic moderate who we can do business with and would prevent Iran's genocidal pipsqueak dictator from actually using the nuclear weapons Iran hopes to obtain. Tehran, 19 Dec. (AKI) - A top Muslim cleric in Iran, Hojatolislam Gholam Reza Hassani said on Wednesday that women in Iran who do not wear the hijab or Muslim headscarf, should die.

"Women who do not respect the hijab and their husbands deserve to die," said Hassani, who leads Friday prayers in the city of Urumieh, in Iranian Azerbaijan.

"I do not understand how these women who do not respect the hijab, 28 years after the birth of the Islamic Republic, are still alive," he said.

"These women and their husbands and their fathers must die," said Hassani, who is the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in eastern Azerbaijan.

Hassani's statements came after two Kurdish feminists in Iran were accused of being members of an armed rebel group and of carrying out subversive activities threatening the security of the state.

It is believed that his statements and the arrests could spark a fresh crackdown on women who do not repect the Islamic dress code in Iran.

Thousands of women in Iran have already been warned this year for their "un-Islamic dress" such as wearing tight, short coats and skimpy headscarves.

Falsely Blaming Israel for the Plight of Bethlehem's Christians

Kenneth Woodward writing in the WSJ, carries on the Media's Christmas tradition of blaming, bashing and lying about Israel over the plight of Bethlehem's Christian community. Woodward claims that Christians are unable to visit their holy shrines due of course to Israel's security fence, roadblocks and checkpoints. In the first place he ignores the fact that the barrier was put in place because of suicide bombers coming in from Bethlehem and that the barrier has been effective. Of course the lives of Israelis are not a priority for the likes of Woodward. For him, the convenience of palestinians takes precedence. He also fails to mention that Israel has been accommodating the city's Christian community by easing security restrictions in the area. And most important of all, he completely ignores muslim persecution of Christians in the PA controlled territories. (hat tip Soccerdad). For example, in Gaza, several Christians have been killed in recent months by a newly emerged wahabbi-style group wearing seventh century robes and calling them crusaders. And in Judea and Samaria, in the only all Christian town of Taybeh, a muslim mob torched 14 houses last September because a muslim woman was allegedly impregnated by her Christian employer. There was also the five churches which were attacked with firebombs after the Pope's remarks about islam, as well as Christian owned businesses under assault by muslim fanatics. Woodward did not think to include this information in his article.

A mere nine kilometers separates Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, from Jerusalem, where he was crucified, died and was buried. Pilgrims can easily visit both the Church of the Nativity and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in half a day--as long as they are not Palestinian Christians. Israel's security wall, its restrictive exit permit system, roadblocks and military checkpoints now make it impossible for most Holy Land Christians to visit the shrines that, for all Christians, make the Holy Land holy.

Like East Jerusalem, Bethlehem is part of the West Bank, not the State of Israel. Temporary exit visas to go from one to the other to worship--or see a doctor or even visit relatives--are hard to come by, of brief duration even when granted, and always subject to the whims of Israeli soldiers.

Inmates Running the Asylum at the UN

There's no better example of the inmates running the asylum at the UN then the fact that the general assembly passed a resolution "against the defamation of religions", which specifically singles out islam for protection. So what we have here is a very bizarre situation in which those that are actually the worst violators of the human rights which this resolution is supposedly meant to protect, are themselves going to be protected from any criticism for their barbarous, inhuman practices. So for example, if one were to condemn muslim imams for spewing venomous hatred toward Jews, Christians, Buddhists or Hindus, the person condemning the imams would themselves would be guilty of hate speech. If one were to take note of the obvious connection between islam and terrorism, speak out against islam's subjugation and brutilization of women, the discrimination and oppression of non-muslims, they too would be guilty of violating the law and those that perpetrate the above atrocities would be protected from punishment. Of course this Orwellian nightmare makes sense to the depraved, corrupt gang running the UN. Most of those countries that voted in favor of the resolution are countries which aren't free and routinely violate human rights, and most of the free world voted against it. Here is a small sample of what is contained in this obscene resolution:

Opposes “the introduction and enforcement of laws that specifically discriminate against and target Muslims”;

Points out “the increasing trend in recent years of statements attacking religions, Islam and Muslims in particular, especially in human rights forums”;

Asserts that “Islam is frequently and wrongly associated with human rights violations and terrorism”; and

“Stresses the need to effectively combat defamation of all religions, Islam and Muslims in particular, especially in human rights forums”.

A rocket landing in an elementary schoolyard in Sderot was caught on videotape. These are the vicious monsters who the people of Israel are faced with and much of the west is at best indifferent to their suffering as they continue to pressure Israel into more and more concessions and make ever more demands on Israel to risk its security for a false peace. The western powers simply want to appease the Arab-muslim world at Israel's expense. A Loss for Free Speech Rights, Victory for Terror

We've come to a sick and tragic turning point in this country where wealthy, powerful enemies can supress our constitutional rights. I expect that someday our own constitution will be superceded by international law.

...Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld, author of ‘Funding Evil’ brought the appeal against Khaled bin Mahfouz, wealthy Saudi banker and businessman who had brought a charge of tourist libel in the London Law courts and obtained an onerous summary judgment against her. He purchased 23 copies of her book from Amazon.com here in the US and had them sent to his lawyers in London. Mahfouz brought the case to “chill’ Ehrenfeld’s investigative findings about his involvement in terrorism financing with Al Qaeda. This summer, Dr. Ehrenfeld had won a reversal on appeal in the US Second Circuit Court of an earlier Federal District decision in Manhattan that indicated that she could file an action in state court. That lead to the filing of a matter in the New York State Court of Appeals in Albany. What resulted was many lawyers believe was a wrong headed narrow ruling on technical grounds.

In an exchange of email with Dr. Ehrenfeld she indicated that she is most anxious to obtain possible legislative relief from the New York State legislature that begins its new session on January 9th to seek possible remedial legislation that would correct this ruling with adverse consequences for her, authors, investigative journalists and the American publishing industry.

Lawyers Hinder the IDF

Caroline Glick reveals that the war against hezbollah in the summer of '06 failed because of the legal establishment's interference in the war. Military leaders were hindered from making decisions based on how best to win the war because they had to worry about later being charged for war crimes. Legal advisers were present at all levels of command and before any operations were carried out, lawers were consulted about whether such actions conformed with international law. From the perspective of Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz and Military Advocate-General Avichai Mandelblit, international law takes precedence over national interests and winning wars. What an insane, suicidal way of fighting wars. Thanks to Israel's legal establishment, essentially, given such obstacles, Israel will never be able to win another war, regardless of her military superiority over her enemies. Israel's enemies must be hysterical with laughter, they are under no such contraints, they have no liberal legal establishment looking over their shoulders making sure they comply with international law. They are free to slaughter Israeli civilians at will and then hide behind their own civilians knowing Israel cannot strike back. These self-appointed elitists have created a nightmare situation for the IDF and have put the country in mortal danger.

This week the IDF distributed ribbons to its soldiers and officers for their service in the war with Hizbullah in 2006. The ribbons were a source of embarrassment. Soldiers and officers, who like the general public view the war as Israel's greatest military defeat, are loath to pin them on their uniforms.

While the soldiers and general public view the war as a failure, one sector of Israeli society sees the war as a great triumph. For Israel's legal establishment, the war was a great victory. It was a war in which its members asserted their dominance over Israel's political and military leadership.

The legal establishment's ardor for the Second Lebanon War was exposed on Tuesday with the publication of the testimonies of Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz and Military Advocate-General Avichai Mandelblit before the Winograd Committee which the Olmert government established to research the war's failures. In their testimonies both men shared their perception of the war as a great victory of lawyers in their campaign to "lawyerize" - or assert their control - over Israeli society.

In his opening statement, Mazuz extolled the war as "the most 'lawyerly' in the history of the State of Israel, and perhaps ever." He explained, "The process didn't begin in Lebanon 2006. It… is a gradual process of 'lawyerizing' life in Israel."

Mazuz responded negatively to the question of whether legal considerations superseded operational and strategic goals during the war. He claimed that the government and the IDF restricted their plans from the beginning to conform with perceived legal restrictions.

As he put it, that preemptive limitation of goals was "the result of a sort of education and internalization that have taken place over the years. I remember periods where there was a great deal of friction with the senior military level regarding what is allowed and what is prohibited. But today I think that there is more or less an understanding of the rules of the game and I can't identify any confrontation… or … demands to 'Let the IDF win.'"

Bush Rebuffs Invitation to Address Knesset

President Bush turned down a request to speak before the Knesset to the surprise of Israeli officials who called it a 'slap in the face'. The excuse given is that since the president can't speak before the palestinian parliament because of the inclusion of hamas, it would make the U.S. appear to be bias in favor of Israel. So now even Bush has bought into this notion of treating Israel and the palestinians even-handedly as though there is a moral equivalence between these two societies. What absurd reasoning. Why should he care that the palestinians see him as taking Israel's side by speaking before the Knesset? The president of the United States ought to choose the side of Israel over a society lead by terrorists. Whatever happened to Bush's moral clarity?

Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik, a ranking member of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's Kadima party, put in a request to Bush's aides earlier this month for the president to address the Knesset, a longstanding tradition among visiting heads of state. Bush is due in Jerusalem as part of a follow-up to last month's U.S.-led Annapolis summit.

But the White House turned down Itzik, explaining Bush might be seen as biased toward Israel, since he could not similarly address the Palestinian parliament due to the inclusion of the Hamas terror organization, reported Israel's Channel 10 Television.

Political sources in Jerusalem, speaking to WND on condition of anonymity for fear of starting a diplomatic crisis, said Olmert's office was "surprised" by the decline.

"It's a slap in the face," said an official. "Even (Egyptian President Anwar) Sadat, who once said he'd destroy Israel, addressed the Knesset when he visited Jerusalem."

President of Al-Quds Calls for Ethnic Cleansing of Jews

Sari Nusseibeh, the president of al-quds university in Jerusalem, said on palestinian television, that Jews should be ethnically cleansed from Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem and never be allowed to live in a future state of "palestine". And while Jews are forbidden to live in "palestine", it is expected that Israel allow millions of hostile Arabs to "return" to the Jewish state, effectively creating a one-state solution in favor of the arabs. Apparently such vicious racism, ethnic cleansing and apartheid advocated by Arabs against Jews is perfectly fine with western liberals who consider Nusseibeh a "moderate". Several universities have partnerships with al-quds and American taxpayers provide funds to the university. I don't expect that the leftist academic community in the west will call for a boycott of AQU or even condemn Nusseibeh. If anything, western leftist academics will applaud his call for a Jew-free "palestine" and the forceable removal of Jewish residents and the destruction of their communities. Reality is turned on its head as democratic, free Israel, which grants equal rights to its non-Jewish citizens, is labeled an "apartheid state" by the left, whereas the arab states as well as the PA controlled territories, which actually do practice apartheid, are never condemned. The Israelis now living in the territories of the future Palestinian state should return to living within the borders of the state of Israel. Hamas Allowed to Defile Judaism's Holiest Site

The hamas terror group is defiling Judaism's holiest site with daily live broadcasts from the Temple Mount. An Israeli government with no pride is allowing terrorists to broadcast sermons advocating the murder of Jews on Judaism's holiest site. To further compound the outrage, Christians and Jews are being banned from ascending the Temple Mount so as not to offend muslims on their holiday of Ein ul-Adhaa. Translation: Christians and Jews are being banned because their presence will incur the wrath of hordes of fanatical muslims who will use that as an excuse to start massive rioting in which case the Israeli police will be forced to act, which may in turn end the faux "peace" process and naturally world governments and the global media will of course blame Israel. Reality will be turned on its head and right wing religious Jews will be blamed for having the audacity to visit their own holy site, just as Ariel Sharon was blamed for muslim riots for doing nothing more than simply walking around the Temple Mount.

After the victory of the six day war, the Israelis, in a misguided attempt at reconciliation, foolishly decided as a good-will gesture, to hand control of the Temple Mount over to the muslim waqf and so as a result, this is the nightmare Jews are faced with. Perversely instead of banning the savages who threaten riots, the civilized people are the ones being denied their religious freedom. This sort of situation is happening throughout the free world where the savages have free reign to take over public spaces and the civilized population meekly acquieces, choosing to limit its own freedoms rather than provoke the jihadis.

Jewish Temple Mount groups had wanted to lead tours this morning, which marked the start of Jewish fast day of the Tenth of Tevet, mourning the First Temple's destruction and the siege placed on Jerusalem leading up to Temple's destruction during the reign of the Babylonian ruler Nebuchadnezzar.

"Our broadcast is a victory for the Al Aqsa Mosque, which is suffering from Judaization efforts imposed by the Zionist government. Broadcasting daily radio is a way to bring Al Aqsa to the Gaza Strip and challenge the siege imposed on us by the Zionist entity," said Rami Kaoud, a manager at Al Aqsa Radio, Hamas' official radio network.

Along with the Jewish fast day, today also marked the start of Muslim holiday of Ein ul-Adhaa, which commemorates the Islamic belief of Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael for Allah. According to Jewish and Christian tradition, Abraham nearly sacrificed his son Isaac, not Ishmael.

WND broke the story Monday that Hamas was planning to exclusively broadcast the Ein ul-Adhaa morning prayers and sermons from the Al Aqsa Mosque.

Hamas' Al Aqsa radio network routinely broadcasts sermons and speeches from Hamas leaders and Hamas-affiliated sheiks calling for the destruction of Israel and murder of Jews. It has been airing commercials the past few days promoting today's Temple Mount broadcast.

Asked if the police approved the Hamas broadcast, Jerusalem Police spokesman Shmulik Ben Ruby said, "As far as I know, the Israeli police is not engaged with this issue."

Dhimmi Catholic Leader Renounces 'Jewish State'

The dhimmified Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Michel Sabbah, rejects the idea of a Jewish state and says Israel discriminates against non-Jews. Of course the man is a liar and a hypocrite. He's a liar because in Israel non-Jews are not excluded and have complete freedom of religion as he well knows since he freely practices his Catholicism. He's a hypocrite because he obviously has no problem with the existence of islamic states where Christians and others are denied the freedom to practice their religion and are even persecuted, including the PA controlled areas. His silence regarding the persecution of Christians in the muslim world is deafening.

For the Israel-hating crowd, Zionism is racism, however Palestinian nationalism, a state to be created free of Jews, is perfectly legitimate. Also, only in the case of Israel is the idea of a state based on a religion illegitimate, however the legitimacy of the myriad of islamic states is never questioned. And even though such blatant and outrageous lies and double standards are constantly being hurled against Israel by anti-Zionists, we are condemned for correctly equating anti-Zionism with antisemitism. The only thing worse than islamic fanatics are the dhimmis such as Sabbah who shill for them.

And why have Israel's leaders chosen to remain silent in the face of this attack on the legitimacy of their country by Sabbah when his lies are so easily refutable?

Israel's identity as a Jewish state discriminates against non-Jews, the Holy Land's top Roman Catholic clergyman said in a pre-Christmas address on Wednesday.


"If there's a state of one religion, other religions are naturally discriminated against," Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah told reporters at the annual press conference he holds in Jerusalem before the Christian holiday.

In his address, which he read in Arabic and English, Sabbah said Israel should abandon its Jewish character in favor of a "political, normal state for Christians, Muslims and Jews."

"This land cannot be exclusive for anyone," he said.

With his statements Wednesday, Sabbah, a longtime advocate of the Palestinian cause, waded into a debate that has marred the fledgling peace negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.

Israel has defined itself as the homeland of the Jewish people since it was established in 1948. The Palestinians, however, refuse to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, saying that would mean Palestinian refugees who lost their homes after Israel's creation would not have the right to return.

Israel opposes any return of refugees, for fear they would eventually outnumber the Jewish majority. Israeli leaders recently demanded that Palestinians recognize Israel's Jewish character as part of peace talks that got under way last week, but the Palestinians have rejected the call.

Aryeh Mekel, a spokesman for Israel's foreign ministry, had no immediate comment.

Sabbah, who has been the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem since 1987, is the first Palestinian to hold the post and is frequently critical of Israel.

He also lashed out at Israel for visa restrictions he said were unfair to Christian clergy. "A state in this land must...be open to welcoming to all believers of other religions," he said.

According to the Jerusalem Center for Jewish-Christian Relations, there are an estimated 170,000 Christians in Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Islamosupremicism on Campus

Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota has converted a racquetball court into a meditation room. This room unfortunately has been allowed to be completely taken over by muslim students, who have turned the room into their own private mosque rather than it being treated as a room inside a public institution where people of differing religious faiths can go to worship as they please.

Featured are signs commanding the removal of shoes, a barrier to separate men and women, and literature urging women to cover their heads and faces. What's worse is that the college, its students and faculty, have apparently meekly accepted this abominable state of affairs. Why should Americans accept being excluded and made to feel like aliens in a public place in our own country? Americans and westerners in general have been timid in asserting our own rights and religious freedoms on our own soil, whether from fear of offending muslims or more likely, fear of physical violence being perpetrated against us. On the other hand muslims have no such fear of coming to non-islamic countries and forcefully imposing themselves on the rest of us. How pathetic that we are so cowardly that we would behave like foreigners in our very own country, terrified of defending our culture and values in the face of foreign muslims taking control of public spaces as if it was their native country.

What ought to be done at Normandale is for hundreds of men and women to enter the meditation room together with their shoes on, the women with their faces and heads uncovered and assert in no uncertain terms that this is a public place meant for ALL students, it is not a mosque nor is it the private domain of muslims, and we will not remove our shoes and we women will not cover our faces and whoever has a problem living with, and respecting America's diversity and religious freedom can return to the countries of their origin. It is a priviledge to be in this country and we have generously opened our doors for these ungrateful malcontents to study here and they have expressed their gratitude by abusing that priviledge, showing intolerance and treating us with hostility. Muslims have gone way beyond demanding equality, rather they insist on being given preferential treatment and we foolishly and gutlessly acquiece. Such preferential treatment towards a single religion is unacceptable in America. We should tell them "GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY".

Last week, I visited a Muslim place of worship. A schedule for Islam’s five daily prayers was posted at the entrance, near a sign requesting that shoes be removed. Inside, a barrier divided men’s and women’s prayer space, an arrow informed worshippers of the direction of Mecca, and literature urged women to cover their faces.

Sound like a mosque?

The place I’m describing is the “meditation room” at Normandale Community College, a 9,200-student public institution in Bloomington.

Until recently, the room was the school’s only usable racquetball court. College administrators converted the court into a meditation room when construction forced closure of the previous meditation room.

A row of chest-high barriers splits the room into sex-segregated sections. In the smaller, enclosed area for women sits a pile of shawls and head-coverings. Literature titled “Hijaab [covering] and Modesty” was prominently placed there, instructing women on proper Islamic behavior.

They should cover their faces and stay at home, it said, and their speech should not “be such that it is heard.”

“Enter into Islaam completely and accept all the rulings of Islaam,” the tract read in part. “It should not be that you accept what entertains your desires and leave what opposes your desires; this is from the manners of the Jews.”

“[T]he Jews and the Christians” are described as “the enemies of Allaah’s religion.” The document adds: “Remember that you will never succeed while you follow these people.”

A poster on the room’s door advertised a local lecture on “marriage from an Islamic perspective,” with “useful tips for marital harmony from the Prophet’s … life.” Other fliers invited students to join the Normandale Islamic Forum, or participate in Ramadan celebrations.

One thing was missing from the meditation room: evidence of any faith but Islam. No Bible, no crucifix, no Torah.

Egypt is Helping hamas

Israel is sending videos to the U.S., of Egyptian policemen helping palestinian terrorists to illegally cross into Gaza, in hopes of convincing congress to condition aid to Egypt on the basis of cracking down on the smuggling. Israel needs to stop begging and hoping others will protect its security and start reasserting its sovereign right as a nation to aggressively defend itself. No one else but the IDF is going to protect Israel.

Israel is sending video tapes showing Egyptian policemen assisting Palestinian terrorists along the Egypt-Gaza border to the United States Congress as part of an effort to influence the legislative body into clamping pressure on Cairo to stop weapons smuggling into the Gaza Strip.

The video footage - which allegedly shows Egyptian security forces assisting Hamas terrorists cross illegally into Gaza - is being transferred to Congress through diplomatic channels and is intended for senior congressmen and senators who can have an effect on the House foreign aid appropriations process. Israel believes this can be an effective way of pressuring Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak into clamping down on Hamas smuggling activities.

The House and Senate agreed late Sunday on a 2008 foreign aid bill that would hold back $100 million in military aid for Egypt, out of a $1.3 billion allocation, unless US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice certifies that concerns about smuggling weapons into Gaza and human rights abuses have been addressed. It is the first time that Egyptian military aid, supplied since the Camp David Accords, would potentially be restricted.

However, the newly agreed bill weakens language in an earlier House bill, which would have held back $200m. without certification. In addition, it added a provision allowing the restriction to be waived - and the aid to flow as usual - if Rice deems that holding back the aid to Egypt would endanger US national security interests.

UNICEF's photo of the year is that of a degenerate 40 year old worshipper of allah as he marries an 11 year old girl. He actually looks much older than 40. Thinning the Herd

It's not nearly enough, but finally a cause for celebration as the IDF is given the green light to take out a number of mutants. Ten sub-human refuse from islamic jihad were thankfully sent to their deaths as the IDF stepped up anti-terror operations in Gaza and Judea and Samaria. Excellent work guys.

Ten Islamic Jihad operatives were killed overnight Monday and early Tuesday as the IDF stepped up its operations against terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

In the latest reported attack - yet to be confirmed by the army - soldiers killed a senior commander in the group's Al-Quds Brigades during a gunfight in Kabatiya early Tuesday morning. Tarek Abu-Ra'ali was the group's commander in Jenin.

Also Tuesday morning, the air force carried out an airstrike in the northern Gaza Strip, killing three Islamic Jihad members, Palestinians reported.

Overnight Monday, five of the group's members were killed in two separate IAF strikes, sparking a barrage of 12 Kassam rockets and mortar shells into the western Negev. The attacks came several hours after the alert level in Gaza belt towns was raised in fear of an escalation in attacks in retaliation for the IDF operations. No Israelis were wounded in the attacks.

Israeli Scientific Achievements

Although constantly under the gun, Israel still manages to be a world class nation in the realms of science, technology and medicine, its innovations making for a better world. Three Israeli scientists from Tel Aviv University have been included on a list of the world's 50 leading innovators in the magazine Scientific America. I think the only innovation having come from the Arabs recently is the invention of the suicide bomber.

...Prof. Eshel Ben-Jacob of TAU's faculty of exact sciences and his research assistant Dr. Itay Baruchi were chosen for their innovative work in brain research and their success in creating a memory- and information-processing neurochip made of living neurons. Ben-Jacob told The Jerusalem Post he was very happy his and Baruchi's work was being recognized, especially since when he first sent an article on it for publication to the prestigious journal Nature along with recommendations from three Nobel Prize laureates, it was rejected on the grounds of "not being of general interest." However, last spring, it was published in the American Physical Society's journal Physical Review.

Prof. Beka Solomon was selected for the development of a novel therapeutic approach in the form of an experimental nasal spray for treatment of Alzheimer's disease, based on friendly bacterial viruses that are able to overcome the drawbacks of other ongoing approaches.

The Israeli edition of Scientific American, produced by ORT-Israel, is due to publish the list in February, but it isn't known whether the Arabic version published in Kuwait will choose to omit the Israeli achievement.

This is the sixth year that the journal's board of editors has selected the 50 top innovators. No other Israelis were included in the 2008 list, and only two Israelis were previously on the list; they were Dr. Shulamit Levenberg of the Technion (2006), Prof. Ehud Shapira of the Weizmann Institute of Science (2006) and Prof. Micha Asher of the Hebrew University (2004).

Each year, the board of editors reviews the work of individuals, teams, companies and other organizations with outstanding accomplishments in research, business or policymaking. The winners, who receive worldwide honor but no financial prize, are cited for their contributions to areas such as biotechnology, microelectronics, energy and genetics. Winners over the past several years have included former US vice president Al Gore (2006 Policy Leader of the Year); Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin (sharing the distinction of 2005 Business Leader of the Year); and Nobel prize-winning Rockefeller neurobiologist Prof. Roderick MacKinnon (2003 Research Leader of the Year)...

U.S. Taxpayers to Fund PA Terror

Despite the fact that the PA has used previous funds it received from the west to put in their private bank accounts, build luxury condos for themselves and of course wage a terror war against Israel, the western nations plan to pour even more money into the PA coffers. The U.S. will provide $500 million. It matters little to them that fatah still refuses to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, won't stop incitement in its schools and media, and its al aqsa brigades are still involved in terrorism, having been responsible for the murder of Ido Zoldan.

The United States will pledge about $500 million for the Palestinian Authority government in the West Bank when Arab, European and other nations meet next week, US officials said Friday.


The money would go toward a goal of $5.6 billion that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair hopes to raise to rescue the tattered Palestinian economy and reinforce institutions that would become the backbone of any eventual independent Palestinian state.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will deliver the pledge at a conference Blair has called Monday in Paris, the officials said. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the figure has not been announced and might be changed slightly.

The money is part of world efforts to improve the Palestinians' financial position as new US-sponsored peace talks begin.

Qassam Wounds Toddler

Israel's wretched neighbors continue to make life unbearable for those living within rocket range of Gaza. A two year old boy was wounded by a kassam which landed on a kibbutz. And Israel's pathetic political leaders refuse to protect these communities by going into Gaza and aggressively targeting the terrorists because doing so may disrupt the faux "peace" process. It wouldn't occur to them that the very fact that the palestinians continue to fire rockets means they have no interest in real peace. So Israel and the west accept the obscene and convoluted muslim logic that Israel defending itself from palestinian aggression should itself be considered an act of aggression.

A rocket fired by Palestinian terror groups from northern Gaza landed in the yard of a kibbutz home on Sunday afternoon, wounded a two-year-old boy. Israeli police and paramedics said the infant sustained light shrapnel wounds and was evacuated to the Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon for treatment.

Medics also treated the infant's mother for shock.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the rocket scored a direct hit on a house in Kibbutz Zikim, an Israeli communal farm. Initial reports said the rocket hit inside the nearby Zikim military base, where a direct rocket hit in September wounded more than 40 soldiers.

The Latest Al Dura Revelation

The al dura hoax continues to unravel as Nidra Poller uncovers the latest revelation. The boy's father Jamal, who claimed to have received wounds caused by Israeli gunfire on the day his son was supposedly killed, actually sustained the wounds in 1992. Karsenty obtained medical records proving that in fact his wounds were treated by an Israeli surgeon in 1994, and the surgeon, Dr.Yahuda David has come forward to confirm this information on Arutz 10 tv. Jamal declared on medical records that his injuries were caused by a palestinian milita which attacked him with axes.

So here's a guy who was attacked by his fellow palestinians, his life saved by Israeli surgeons, yet he expresses his gratitude by participating in a blood libel against the Jewish state and remains loyal to those who brutally attacked him. Such is the extent of the brainwashing and hatred prevalent in palestinian society.

While the alleged death of Mohamed Al Dura and accusations that Israel was to blame made headline news globally, you won't hear this story anywhere in the mainstream media, just as you haven't heard about the Karsenty allegations against France 2 and subsequent trial.

The wounds purportedly sustained on September 30 2000 by Jamal al Dura “target of gunfire from the Israeli positions”—in the words of France 2 bureau chief Charles Enderlin—were in fact incurred in 1992. Jamal, identified as the father of the shahid [martyr] Mohamed al Dura, is one of the two living witnesses to the incident that triggered the “Al Aqsa Intifada.” The al Dura news report has been the subject of controversy for seven years.

Philippe Karsenty, who is appealing his 2006 defamation conviction—for declaring on his Media-Ratings site that the al Dura news report was a blatant fake—obtained medical records proving that Jamal’s wounds were treated by an Israeli surgeon in 1994. Now the surgeon, Yehuda David, has confirmed this information on a December 12 newscast on Israel’s Arutz 10 TV. Jean Tsadik of Metula News Agency resumed the Hebrew-language newscast for French-speaking readers.

Newt Challenges Our Weak Response to Jihad

Here's the transcript to a great speech by Newt Gingrich to the Jewish National Fund last month regarding the war on terrorism. It is among the best and most straightforward addresses I've heard so far regarding the global jihad and what should be our approach to fighting it. He says we are sleepwalking into a nightmare because our political leaders are refusing to be honest about the scale of the global jihad and what must be done to fight it.

He says our approach to the war being waged against us is meek and inadequate. He says Musharaf has no control over Waziristan or his own government and that Pakistan is in danger of being taken over by an islamist dictatorship which has nuclear weapons.

He then goes on to discuss Saudi Arabia and how we tolerate the obscene double standard of that country attacking Israel for being a Jewish state while saudi arabia itself is an islamic state where Christians and Jews have no rights whatsoever, a place where churches and synagogues cannot even be built. Israel of course allows non-Jews freedom of relilgion. Gingrich calls our acceptance of this saudi double standard a sign of our timidity, confusion and cowardice. While we invite the Saudis to come to Annapolis to discuss Palestinian rights, we don't bother to ask them about rights for women, Christians and Jews in Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore he says the major problem is the billions of dollars we are pumping into countries which are hostile to us and that money in turn comes back into this country in the form of the saudis buying up banks and pouring money into Arab study institutes in our universities where lies are unquestioningly being propagated and where, in the name of academic freedom a genocidal madman can be hosted by Columbia.

He further goes on to discuss another aspect of western cowardice; how current Hollywood movies will make villains out of the CIA whereas they won't dare show islamic fanatics as villains.

Regarding Iran he says there is an alternative approach to either cowardice or total war. He suggests we fight Iran as we did against the Soviet Union during the cold war, by using covert tactics against its natural gas supply. Iran produces 60% of its own gasoline. As an example when Reagan was president we sold the Soviet Union equipment for their pipelines which was designed to blow-up.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich delivered the following remarks to a Jewish National Fund meeting Nov. 15 at the Selig Center.



I just want to talk to you from the heart for a few minutes and share with you where I think we are.



I think it is very stark. I don't think it is yet desperate, but it is very stark. And if I had a title for today's talk, it would be sleepwalking into a nightmare. 'Cause that's what I think we're doing.



I gave a speech at the American Enterprise Institute Sept. 10th at which I gave an alternative history of the last six years, because the more I thought about how much we're failing, the more I concluded you couldn't just nitpick individual places and talk about individual changes because it didn't capture the scale of the disaster. And I had been particularly impressed by a new book that came out called “Troublesome Young Men,” which is a study of the younger Conservatives who opposed appeasement in the 1930s and who took on Chamberlain. It's a very revealing book and a very powerful book because we tend to look backwards and we tend to overstate Churchill's role in that period. And we tend to understate what a serious and conscientious and thoughtful effort appeasement was and that it was the direct and deliberate policy of very powerful and very willful people. We tend to think of it as a psychological weakness, as though Chamberlain was somehow craven. He wasn't craven. Chamberlain had a very clear vision of the world, and he was very ruthless domestically. And they believed so deeply in avoiding war with Germany that as late as the spring of 1940, when they are six months or seven months into they war, they are dropping leaflets instead of bombs on the Rohr, and they are urging the British news media not to publish anti-German stories because they don't want to offend the German people. And you read this book, and it makes you want to weep because, interestingly, the younger Tories who were most opposed to appeasement were the combat veterans of World War I, who had lost all of their friends in the war but who understood that the failure of appeasement would result in a worse war and that the longer you lied about reality, the greater the disaster.



And they were severely punished and isolated by Chamberlain and the Conservative machine, and as I read that, I realized that that's really where we are today. Our current problem is tragic. You have an administration whose policy is inadequate being opposed by a political Left whose policy is worse, and you have nobody prepared to talk about the policy we need. Because we are told if you are for a strong America, you should back the Bush policy even if it's inadequate, and so you end up making an argument in favor of something that can't work. So your choice is to defend something which isn't working or to oppose it by being for an even weaker policy. So this is a catastrophe for this country and a catastrophe for freedom around the world. Because we have refused to be honest about the scale of the problem.

The Dangers of an Independent Kosovo

Dr. Walid Phares advises against the west supporting independence for Kosovo. In the first place a double standard is at work here because while the west has recognized the right of separation from Serbia on the part of muslims, no such right of separation is recognized for Serbs in muslim-majority Bosnia. He says supporters of creating a muslim state in Europe believe this will shore up our image in the muslim world which of course is a dangerous assumption, and that there is no legal basis in international law to forming such a state to satisfy a religious block of states. An independent Kosovo would be a victory for the global jihad. Furthermore this would set a dangerous precedent by encouraging other minority groups around the world to launch separatist movements within the countries they live.

Over the past few months a number of Western leaders, including senior United States figures, have lent their support to separating the province of Kosovo from the Republic of Serbia, based on the fact that a majority of the inhabitants in the province, ethnic Albanians, wishes this to be done.

The U.S Secretary of State and European top diplomats have been working on the assumption that the ultimate outcome of the crisis should be to see another new Republic emerging in the Balkans from the rubble of former Yugoslavia. Their participation in the UN-sponsored negotiations, along with Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and Russia, has been heading toward the endpoint of breaking one nation state's territory into two states, ignoring the historical context, consequences, and important principles, with far-reaching unpleasant consequences when these principles serve as precedents elsewhere.

Underlying all of this is a not-so-hidden agenda: an anticipated so-called diplomatic dividend for pleasing the Muslim world. A prominent US legislator declared over the summer that granting Kosovo its independence would please the Muslim world and would show that America is not anti-Islamic. The Kosovo affair has this assumed extra importance in this precarious post 9/11 era, as a token. But it risks kindling a chain reaction of explosive crises around the world.

As a potential unilateral declaration of separation by the local government of Kosovo province may take place, it is imperative that Washington and Brussels be wise on Kosovo, and carefully think through the implications.

The residents of Sderot are faced with the daily trauma of being bombarded by qassam rockets. Many people, especially the children, are experiencing post traumatic stress. Given the outcome of the Gaza withdrawal, how the Israeli and U.S. governments can even think of relinquishing more territory to these barbaric fiends who's only purpose in life is to make life a living hell for Israeli Jews, is beyond me. How any person can think there's even a remote possibility of Israel obtaining peace with these hateful, homicidal, bloodthirsty neighbors has no grasp of reality whatsoever.

Pro-hamas Juror Responsible for Mistrial

An investigation of the recent Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas reveals that a pro-hamas juror, William Neal, effected the outcome of the trial by bullying and intimidating the other jurors throughout deliberation. He would browbeat and curse anyone who expressed opinions which differed from his own regarding the evidence and the guilt of the defendents. It was clear that this guy, due to his political ideology, had made up his mind to let these terrorist supporters go free even before the trial began. He disregarded evidence, explaining it away as not proving the defendents connections to hamas. As is typical with leftists, he is arrogant, condescending and certain of his own intellectual and moral superiority. In interviews after the trial, he insulted the other jurors, calling them ignorant, unsophisticated, not knowing anything about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict while belittling their blue collar jobs. But in reality, it is Neal that is ignorant not to mention morally depraved. He questioned whether hamas is even a terrorist group, calling it a political movement, an uprising. And yet incredulously, in a complete inversion of reality he claims to have gone into deliberations with no opinion and wanted to see where the evidence took him, while accusing the jurors who disagreed with him as having had their minds made up before deliberations. He has also gone on talk radio shows bragging about fooling federal prosecutors into believing he was sympathetic to their case in order to be selected to the jury where he could then help free the defendents. He also took credit for bullying the other jurors into not convicting, saying without him on the jury the trial would have had a different outcome. What the other jurors should have done was knock this punk's teeth down his throat.

It was the unrelenting intimidation by a single juror who dominated the jury room deliberations who cowed his fellow jurors. Should this exclusive set of juror interviews find their way into the Federal prosecutor files for a retrial of the case against this Muslim Brotherhood charity then the outcome may be totally different and more in line with the overwhelming evidence presented in the original case. Those gloating defendants celebrating their ‘victory’ outside the Dallas Federal courthouse may have a different expression on their faces if convicted in a retrial.

DALLAS – She felt the men were guilty and tried to explain why to the 11 other jurors. When she finished, one juror spoke up in an angry tone.

“If you’re going by the evidence in this room,” she recalls him snapping, “then you need to go home.”

The terrorism-support trial of five Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) officials, which began July 24, already had been stressful for 49-year-old Kristina Williams. She had lost her job two weeks into it. Now during deliberations, she felt bullied and intimidated virtually every time she voiced an opinion.

“When I’d get off the jury I’d come home every night and basically cry because I felt like every time I spoke I would get knocked down, criticized, one way or the other for something pertaining to the way I voted,” Williams said in an exclusive interview.

While several jurors favored acquittals, just one out of the 12 did most of the knocking down. In fact, interviews with three HLF jurors - speaking publicly for the first time - suggest that juror William Neal’s stridency may have changed the trial’s outcome. Neal even claimed credit for steering jurors away from convictions in a recent radio interview. Until now, he has been the sole source for public perception of the deliberations and the government’s case.

The three jurors interviewed by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) showed the Neal-created perception as skewed. All three jurors say they disagree with his views of the evidence and the prosecution’s case. To them, it seems clear that Neal made up his mind going into the jury room and refused to consider any argument in favor of guilt. He preferred to read the court’s instructions rather than look at exhibits in evidence, they said. And his often snide manner intimidated and bullied those who disagreed with him.

The effect this had on the case is clear. When a juror walked out in frustration after just four days of deliberations, it followed a confrontation with Neal. When another juror briefly refused to cast a vote, it was after a confrontation with Neal. Williams broke down several times during the 19 days jurors spent locked in debate. Each incident followed what she felt was an attack by Neal.

Sderot Mayor Has a Change of Heart

Sderot mayor Eli Moyal has decided to stay on as mayor after meeting with Defense Minister Ehud Barak and being reassured by him that he will address the kassam problem.

...“In light of the defense minister’s words, I was obliged to comply when he asked me to resume my post as mayor,” Moyal stated.

On his part, Defense Minister Barak said that: “Responsibility and duty trump all else, and we cannot afford to change mayors at this stage.”

Barak praised the resilience of the residents of Sdeort and the Gaza vicinity stating, “We are working as hard as humanly possible to resolve the Qassam menace.

"We find ourselves in a trying period of time, and resignation may very well be construed by our enemies as weakness,” said Barak. “We cannot and should not give them that satisfaction.”

Israel's Moral Superiority Over its Enemies

Even as Israel is demonized and treated with pariah status by the world community, it generously uses its medical expertise to save the lives of gravely ill children in third world countries, even enemy Arab countries and the PA territories which call for the destruction of Israel and the killing of Jews. Israel is known to also use its expertise in various areas of science and technology to aid the third world.

(IsraelNN.com) The Israeli Save a Child's Heart (SACH) organization welcomed its first group of Kenyan children with heart conditions to be operated upon in Israel Wednesday.

The organization locates children in developing countries with life-threatening heart diseases and brings them to Israel to be treated by Israeli doctors at the forefront of cardiac medical technology.


The three young Kenyan boys, Samuel (7 years old), Hastings (1 year old), and Winfred (1 year old), were accompanied by two of their mothers. The operations will take place at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon. The children's treatment in Israel was arranged by a Kenyan physician who trained with SACH at Wolfson in anesthesiology.

Kenya is SACH's 29th partner country and plans are currently underway to expand medical and training opportunities, including the training of a pediatric cardiac surgeon in Israel.

Since 1996, Save a Child’s Heart has provided surgeries for children from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Moldova, Vietnam and China.

Half of the group's life-saving services have been provided to children for PA-controlled areas and Arab countries.

Rupert Murdoch's Clueless Son

There may be changes afoot regarding the coverage of Israel by Rupert Murdoch's British publications; The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun and News of the World, as they come under the control of his ignorant son who is staunchly pro-palestinian. Murdoch's British newspapers are currently the only alternative pro-Israel voices in a British media which is mostly hostile to Israel. Now unfortunately, pro-Israel voices will be completely shut-out.

Consider the following, from Alastair Campbell's Diaries, which most commentators seem to have missed. At a private dinner with his father, his brother (Lachlan), Tony Blair, and others at 10 Downing Street in January 2002, James, according to Campbell, launched into a foul-mouthed tirade against his father's unstinting support for Israel.

The elder Murdoch, writes Campbell, "was at one point putting the traditional very right-wing view on Israel and the Middle East peace process and James said that he was ‘talking f****** nonsense.'

"[Rupert] Murdoch said he didn't see what the Palestinians' problem was and James said that it was that they were kicked out of their f****** homes and had nowhere to f****** live' " records Campbell.A contrite James then apologised for swearing at the Prime Minister's dinner table -- but he did not resile from the sentiments of his pro-Palestinian outburst.

What a clueless dick this guy is. He needs to get his facts straight rather than parroting Arab propaganda. Israel did not kick any so-called "palestinians" from their homes. If he's talking about the establishment of Israel, Arab nations started a war to annihilate Israel at its founding rather than accept the UN partition. In which case either the Arabs fled to avoid the fighting or were instructed by Arab leaders to leave so that they would be out of the way while Arab armies slaughtered Jews. If he is referring to Jewish communities established in Judea Samaria and Gaza after they were liberated in the six day war, once again, Arabs were not kicked out their homes. Jews either purchased property or established communities on empty lands. However Jews were the ones kicked out of their homes two years ago in Gaza. Also, Jews were the ones kicked out of their homes in Hebron and elsewhere in Judea and Samaria when Jordan captured the territory during the war of independence launched by the Arabs. And hundreds of thousands of Jews were also kicked out of Arab countries upon the establishment of Israel. I really get angry when ignoramuses speak of issues they have no knowledge of.
