UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon shamelessly pandered to the muslim world at the islamic summit in Dakar, Senegal by falsely accusing Israel of using "disproportionate and excessive force" and telling Israel to cease such acts. He has turned out to be not much better than the atrocious Koffi Anan.
I have a fantasy that one day Ban Ki-Moon or some other UN or world leader will have the courage to stand before an islamic summit such as this one and actually speak out for Israel's right to defend itself and condemn palestinian and the muslim world's support for terrorism and condemn its rejection of Israel's right to exist, condemn the hatred and incitement against Israel and Jews in their media, mosques and schools, and demand that the muslim world stop waging war against Israel and accept Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state. What also would be wonderful if western countries began moving their embassies to Jerusalem. Those are wonderful thoughts, however far too much to expect from cowardly and craven world leaders such as Moon. It's not safe to tell the truth to the islamic world, it's far safer to attack Israel.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on Israel on Thursday to halt attacks using "disproportionate and excessive force" against Palestinians.Continue
"Israel's disproportionate and excessive use of force has killed and injured many civilians including children ... I condemn these actions and call on Israel to cease such acts," Ban told an Islamic summit in Senegal's capital Dakar.
