CAIR to Distribute Korans to Public Officials

The hamas front group CAIR plans to distribute 100,000 korans to leaders across the country. I hope at least some of these leaders tell CAIR where they can shove their korans or at least pretend to politely accept them and then tear them up right in front of their faces. But just like politicians they will behave like the dhimmis they are and cravenly accept the korans with a smile and a thank you. After all, we can't offend the fragile sensibilities of muslims. Isn't this a violation of the separation of religion and state? Wouldn't liberals be screaming if Christians were handing out bibles to public officials?

More Da’wa: CAIR to distribute 100,000 Qurans to state and local leaders

CAIR issued a news release launching a new initiative in its 2010 Strategic plan: distribution of 100,000 Qurans to US state and local officials. In the news release CAIR said it was prompted to conduct Da’wa (preaching) by President Obama’s Cairo speech:

"In the multi-year initiative, American Muslims will sponsor Qurans for distribution to governors, state attorneys general, educators, law enforcement officials, state and national legislators, local elected and public officials, media professionals and other local or national leaders who shape public opinion or determine policy," the statement said.
According to the press release from CAIR, the "Share the Quran" educational campaign "was prompted by President Obama's recent address to Muslims worldwide in which he quoted from that holy text."

CAIR Chairman and North Carolina Democratic State senator, Larry Shaw noted:

"Through this ground-breaking outreach initiative, we hope not only to educate policy-makers and opinion leaders about Islam, but also to provide an opportunity for American Muslims to reach out to their fellow citizens of other faiths."
The "Share the Quran" initiative, according to the CAIR statement, is part of the celebration of the council's 15th anniversary.

The best thing the 100,000 leaders that received the koran could do it read the damn thing. As they were reading they could mark parts that contradict the islamic lies such as ‘islam is a religion of peace’, etc, and challenge CAIR and the islamic leaders to explain the contradictions to them. How can it be a religion of peace when killing people in times of peace is an acceptable thing? How can it be religion of peace when suicide bombers are considers martyrs and are honored throughout islamic countries? How can it be considered a religion of peace when their buildings and schools are named after people that killed civilians, not soldiers? How can it be considered a religion of peace when the islamic charities support those families that have lost someone through jihad? And last but not least, how could they possibly tell us that jihad is a personal struggle when Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida both justify their actions based on the koran and jihad?

"Through this ground-breaking outreach initiative, we hope not only to educate policy-makers and opinion leaders about Islam, but also to provide an opportunity for American Muslims to reach out to their fellow citizens of other faiths."

Policy-makers and opinion leaders do need education, and the best way to get it is to go to the source. If you want to know about Christianity or Judaism you read the Bible, if you want to know about islam, you go to the koran. The koran speaks for itself and our leaders would find out that killing anyone that is not islamic is not only okay, but mandatory, that deceiving your enemy is okay, that converting the world to islam is the end goal. If they really did read the koran, that would be the best education because they would realize they have been lied to by all the islamic religious leaders.

CAIR is counting on people putting the koran on their book shelves and not giving it another thought. They are counting on people getting their information from the imams, who have an agenda to deceive. They are counting on the recipients not investigating islam on their own.

I remember watching part of an Oprah show. The guest was a imam. When Oprah asked about the koran saying the it was permissible to beat your wife, he pulled out a toothpick and said, ‘we can beat our wives with this.’ He reminded her that the koran says you can beat your wife ‘lightly’. Oprah and audience ate it up. Now they were all ‘authorities’ because an imam had explained it to them.

Everything out of that imam’s mouth was a lie. The arbic version of the koran (the original language) says you can beat your wives, period. The word ‘lightly’ was added to the English version to deceive English speaking people. And the lie has been very successful.

Rather than advocating destroying the koran, we should be encouraging people to read it. That is why I know that islam is a wicked cult. That is how I know that islam should be eradicated. I did not take anybody’s word for it, I read it myself and was horrified by what I learned.

So would anyone who bothered to read it. Our leaders have been given a golden opportunity. It would be nice if they would not squander it.
