Go Sarah!

She is a true outsider (unlike obama's pretense of being a different kind of politician), a regular, hard working, uncorrupted, patriotic middle class American whom the elitist DC establishment despises and is terrified of. I hope she plans to run for president.

Here Comes Sarah Barracuda

Once again, Sarah Palin, who is still a work in progress on the national stage, has confounded her visceral and vicious critics on the left and right, as well as conventional wisdom, by thinking “outside the box” and using simple common sense.

Before she was elected Governor of Alaska, Palin was appointed Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. There she noticed the corruption by senior politicians and oil company executives and decided she was not going to go along to get along. Not only did she, as a rookie politician, take on these powerful political and business interests, including senior members of her own party, she succeeded in defeating them. This led to her being elected Governor by an overwhelming margin. As Governor, she again defied conventional wisdom by appointing people she considered the most qualified to her cabinet regardless of their party affiliation. With her fiscal policies and advancement of the Alaska gas pipeline, she quickly became the most popular Governor with Alaskans earning the highest approval rating of all 50 state Governors.

The only time John McCain took the lead in last year’s presidential campaign was in the weeks after he chose Palin as his running mate. Then the financial crisis broke and the media falsely blamed it on the Republicans leading to McCain losing to Obama and the country went from the frying pan into the fire.

The US left wing is justifiably terrified of Palin and have begun to realize why she earned the nickname Sarah Barracuda as a high school athlete. Unlike them, she stands as a real-life example of real feminism, not their phony selective feminism based primarily on abortion rights. She stands for Reagan-style conservatism based on low taxes and fiscal discipline and an assertive foreign policy. In other words, she stands against everything the political liberals and their chosen candidate, Barack Obama, stand for.

Now, as a “movement conservative” like Ronald Reagan, whose goal was to promote the objectives of conservative philosophy in addition to governing as a conservative, she has decided that to advance the cause she needs to move on from the day-to-day and time consuming pressures of running a state. Thus she decided not to run for re-election in November of 2010, leading her critics to exclaim that she should have completed the term she was elected to. While this may sound plausible, it really makes no sense.

While most lesser politicians would have run out their term as a lame duck Governor, without any real power to influence and affect policy and taken their paycheck while marking time, this has never been Palin’s style. So, thinking outside the box once again, she decided that she would not waste the state’s time and money as a “lame duck” but turn the Governorship over to her Lieutenant, who has a longer term vested interest in the position. It also gives him the time to organize his campaign for re-election in November 2010, and she is now free to promote the conservatism she believes in.

Don’t expect the left leaning American Obama-media to appreciate any of this. Look for some of the most vicious and speculative coverage of her resignation that can get past the editors in the media plus the typical terrified and scurrilous barrage from the left wing blogs.

So far, Sarah Barracuda has repulsed everything they have thrown at her, and 99.9% of the scurrilous personal ethics violations she was falsely charged with at a legal cost of over $500,000 in legal fees have been dismissed and she has fixed the few administrative oversights that were found.

I expect to see Palin counter the attacks against her with the same success that repelled almost all the false charges against her in Alaska. The liberals had better take note of her furious and relentless verbal barrage against David Letterman which led him to finally put his tail between his legs and to apologize unconditionally without his trademark sardonic sarcasm.

The USA has gone seriously off the rails with the election of Barack Obama.

Let the fight for America’s true soul begin.

Sarah Palin may be preparing for a possible run for a future Presidential campaign. Today we face not so much a left vs right struggle but the centralization of all power vs. the rights of the individual. How about, The Pass Act? if this bill passes now in the senate it could place all of our data in a computurized global data base system which could later be linked with the ability to buy and sell and then we will be at the mercy of whoever takes power.

I don't know Lel. I also like Sarah but leaving the elected office in this manner seems like political suicide. Maybe she really needs to spend more time with her family and I wish her well. I don't think she will emerge from this as the 2012 candidate.
