J Street's Duplicity

J Street's Jeremy Ben-Ami tries to make the case for his organization in a column entitled "Being Israel's ambassador". This guy is a real deceiver and scoundrel.

ONE NATURAL diplomatic instinct might be to build the biggest possible tent for pro-Israel advocacy, including those who disagree at times with government policies.

Disagree at times? When has j street ever backed Israel, especially in matters of self-defense?

And we can stand up to those who would put the full brunt of blame and penalty on Israel, whether at the UN, on college campuses or in the blogosphere.

Among those that put the full brunt of blame on Israel is j street itself.

OURS IS the easier job. We know what we believe and can say clearly what we stand for - an Israel that is Jewish and democratic; an end to the occupation of the Palestinian people; two states living side by side in peace and security; a comprehensive regional peace that brings full recognition of Israel's right to exist and of its borders, and full acceptance into the community of nations.

And just how will j street guarantee that this state of Palestine won't be another islamic terror state which will continue to wage war against Israel? Why do people who support the two state solution constantly use that obnoxious cliche of "two states living side by side in peace and security"? By what criteria do they judge things will turn out this way? The fact of the matter is, history tells us that every previous concession by Israel has led to more not less hostility and terrorism by the palestinians.

Also what further disgusts me is that Ben-Ami thinks that if he keeps repeating how pro-Israel his group is, we will actually believe it. What j street is, is another saudi and muslim lobbying group to undermine Israel. Real supporters of Israel aren't fooled.

Its neither Jewish nor pro-Israel. Jeremy Ben Ami isn't even honest. The Administration he backs wants to create another Islamist terrorist regime in Israel's backyard, naturally free of Jews. J-Street can't even be bothered to fight it.
