More Garbage From the Guardian

Even as England faces an islamic threat, the leftists at the British rag sheet the Guardian are obsessed with hating Israel and are orgasmic over the prospect that the Obama administration may browbeat Israel into submission. Much to the Guardian's chagrin, I don't think Israel will succumb to obama's bullying tactics.

The public differences, and revelations of Obama's private snubs of Netanyahu at the White House last week, have proved embarrassing to the Israeli leader at home, where he has been accused of undermining Israel's most important relationship.

The Israeli public is behind Netanyahu and is blaming obama for the crisis in relations.

Robert Malley, a former special assistant to President Bill Clinton for Arab-Israeli affairs, said the administration's decision to take a once routine disagreement over settlement construction in East Jerusalem and turn it in to a confrontation is a reflection of the determination in the White House.

I'm certainly hoping that Israel has even greater determination to resist hussein obama's demands.

A source, who is consulted by administration officials on Israel policy but did not wish to be named, said that having chosen to take Netanyahu on, Obama cannot now afford to back away.

How perverse are the administration's priorities to "take on" Bibi while Iran's dictatorship is developing nuclear weapons. The freaks at the guardian somehow believe that taking on Israel is something courageous when in fact it represents cowardice in the extreme. Impotent to deal with real threats like Iran, obama chooses instead to prove his toughness by taking a hard line with Israel where there is no risk involved.

That is, in part, because there is little enthusiasm for Jewish settlements. In addition, the White House has played an unusual card in suggesting that Netanyahu's intransigence is endangering US interests in the Middle East, and the lives of US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Those who hold this view need to explain how Jewish apartments in Jerusalem effect our war efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan? Where is the logic in this? Were sunnis and shiites killing each other because of Israel? Are the taliban throwing acid in women's faces and blowing up girl's schools because of Israel? Is the taliban attacking American soldiers in Afghanistan because Jews are building apartments in Jerusalem or because they want their country to remain under strict sharia rule? And would they stop attacking American soldiers, who they regard as invaders, if Jews stop building apartments in Jerusalem? Can one seriously argue that the Iranian supplied terrorists in Iraq would stop attacking American soldiers if Jews stop building apartments in Jerusalem? As long as American troops are in Iraq, the jihadis will try to attack them because they do not want a free, democratic Iraq, regardless of what Israel does.

Go ahead and read the rest of this spiel.

We live in a time when hatred of Israel is more acceptable than the hatred of the danger that threatens the survival and freedom of the West.

Go figure.

The question of who is being offended as opposed to disseminating hate is all a matter of whose ox is being gored. The anti- hate laws were enacted through pressure exerted by the Jewish community to counter antisemitism. However we get unfairly selective when this same laws are being bypassed in the cases where the target groups are blacks, Muslims, and other vulnerable minorities

Blacks and muslims are vulnerable? Please.
