Eric Yoffie, president of Union for Reform Judaism, is calling for Israel to enact a construction ban for Jews in eastern Jerusalem.
It is obscene that any Jew could support a policy of apartheid against the Jewish people, and in the Jewish homeland no-less. These Jewish liberals who fought to end segregation against blacks in America are now advocating a "no Jews allowed" policy to be enacted in certain areas of Israel. There is no sense of irony or shame in this from liberals.

Only liberal Jews could advocate red-lining and apartheid against other Jews.
They would be aghast if someone proposed discriminating against any other people.

In 1948 there were approximatelly 10 million Jews world wide.
At the same date there were about 30 million Arabs world wide.
60 years later there are now 14 million Jews around the globe.
60 years later there are now 350 million Arabs on this earth.

Accept the facts of life as it is, not as you wish it to be.
The fact is there is no military solution to this cunnundrum. if military
victories could have provided Israel with the security it craves , this
discussion would not be taking place. There would not be a Palestinian
problem.

Noah the issue is Jewish-Arab demographics specifically in Israel not the entire world.
Israel was never truly allowed to defeat its enemies. Military victories would indeed provide Israel with security if she wasn't prevented from finishing the job by the international community.
If Israel was not so very greedy for the yankee dollah. the job would have been finished many years ago.
