Pathetic Leaders

I Heard an interview with former NY governor George Pataki. He is just one example of the fecklessness so prevalent amongst politicians in both parties. So Pataki's response to the koran burning controversy is that we have to watch what we say and do. Does he realize what he is saying? Any form of non-violent protest is protected speech by our constitution. Pataki is suggesting we curb our freedoms to placate savages abroad. I have zero respect for him. There is not a real leader in either party. Real leaders would be addressing the muslim world by saying that being offended is no excuse for violent savagery and we will respond with the full force of the American military. America is a free nation and muslims just have to get used to it. We have jellyfish at every level of power in this country. During WW2 we had leaders with clarity, strength and resolve, and today we have "leaders" who publicly project fear and weakness. What kind of a message does this send to our enemies?
