Church Rents Out Space to muslims

What do the congregants have to say about their church allowing muslims to set up a mosque in the basement? Outreach is ALWAYS a one-way street with infidels giving and muslims taking without any reciprocity on the part of muslims whatsoever. When will we ever learn? There are those who say that being tolerant to all religions is an American value. However if we continue to be open to an ideology, "religion" and culture which does not share our values of tolerance and openness then those very values that we hold dear in America will be endangered. Now when will mosques allow Christians or Jews to set up churches or synagogues in their basements?

Did the muslim guests who spoke to the congregation to talk about islam bother to mention any of the following:

The persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, the massacre of Christians in Nigeria, the genocide of Christians in the Sudan and the kidnapping of Christian children to be indoctrinated into islam? Did they mention the burning of churches in Malaysia and Indonesia and Kosovo? Or how about Christians being driven out of Lebanon, Iraq and the PA and hamas controlled territories? Or did they bother to mention muslim converts to Christianity being sentenced to death in Pakistan, Afghanistan and other muslim countries? Or how about the female genital mutilation, the stonings and floggings, forced shrounding and "honor" murders of women and girls throughout the muslim world.

Unfortunately today we see another example of Western Civilization committing its slow suicide. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church which is led by Rev. Paul Briggs has opened his Church to a religion that is out to destroy all other religions. He has temporarily rented out the Church basement, and allowed it to be turned into a makeshift Mosque which is being used by dozens of Muslims. Judging by his comments we can see that he is uniformed on Islam.
“I inquired of the leadership to see if there were any objections, and no one had any objections,” Briggs said. “We were glad to welcome them.”

Christians and Muslims have mixed a bit at the church.

“We invited leadership from the mosque to address a public gathering of our congregation during Lent to tell us a little bit about Islam,” Briggs said. “I think our people enjoy understanding another religion. It helps us to understand our own faith.”

“I think it’s a crucial period in our history in the U.S. for us to be able to understand Islam and build friendships for a peaceful future,” he said.

With all the news reports on Muslims, I would think that all Church leaders would have taken the time to educate themselves on Islam. Apparently that is not the case. Reverend, did the Muslims who spoke at your Church tell you that Islam calls for your dominance or death?
