Don't Be Fooled By Donald Trump

Conservatives should not be fooled by Trump who is certainly no conservative. He is nothing more than a slick opportunist. He is positioning himself as head of the tea party movement when he has merely latched on to its coattails for his own purposes. He suddenly declares himself pro-life when he has always been in favor of abortion. He is not a free market guy but supports big government when it can be used to his advantage. For instance he has used eminent domain to steal from small property owners to build a parking lot. He has also received loans from the SBA. Also, he has lobbied NY state to prevent legalized gambling and lobbied to prevent Steve Wynn from opening casinos in Atlantic City. These moves were obviously to prevent competition. I am concerned that if Trump decides to run for president conservatives will vote for him in the primaries. He has none of the values of the tea party movement. We need to nominate a principled conservative like Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann or Col.West and not an opportunist like Trump. And for all we know he could have been in cohoots with Obama over the birth certificate issue.
