Moral Inversion on the Middle East

On the one hand you have the Middle East riddled with uncivilized, unproductive backward and barbaric sharia terror states and dictatorships committing human rights atrocities on a massive scale, and where there is constant violent upheaval. On the other hand you have a singular bastion of civility, peace, democracy, freedom, human rights, productivity and innovation. Yet the likes of Walt and Mearsheimer, Michael Schuer, Zbignew Brzezinski etc. would have us believe that the problem with the region is Israel. How does one come to such an illogical, preposterous conclusion unless they are an anti-Semite?
