LGBT Center Anti-Semites

How does one reconcile being a homosexual with backing the forces who support sharia punishments such as executing gays and opposing the sole country that grants rights to gays in that otherwise backward and barbaric region of the Middle East? I'll refer to this as Israel derangement syndrome. The organized LGBT community, like most so-called human rights groups, is really not interested in the human rights of gays, but exists to push a marxist, anti-western, anti-American anti-Zionist, anti-Semitic agenda.

Last Friday, May 26, 2011, "Queers Against Israeli Apartheid" exercised their hard-won right to hold their meetings at New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Center. Their right to hate and to be grossly misinformed was, as usual, presented as a free speech right and as yet another victim-driven Intifada (uprising).

This meeting followed the long campaign to vilify City University Trustee Jeffrey Wiesenfeld for daring to dissent from Tony Kushner's anti-Israel views; Kushner, who happens to be both gay and Jewish, is nevertheless being given an honorary doctorate this week. These two events are intimately connected to each other and have been further empowered by President Obama's shameful and dangerous actions towards the Jewish State.

Code Pink at AIPAC

Riffraff from code pink and others gathered outside the AIPAC convention last week obnoxiously and incessantly chanting and banging while wearing silly costumes. It is actually quite comical. The great Tom Trento, friend of Israel, interviews a few of these characters who obviously are incapable of being reasoned with, so deep is their anti-Semitism. However they like to pretend they are about human rights and justice while supporting genocidal terrorists. They fool no one.

BBC, Guardian Deny Jewish Rights to All of Jerusalem

The contemptible, vile scoundrels of the BBC and Guardian once again are all too eager to give voice to the lies and historical revisionism as told by the fakestinians. It is now no longer enough to erase Jewish history and deny the Jewish people their right to the eastern part of Jerusalem, but now the denial of Jewish rights to the entirety of Jerusalem is being advanced. The British media along with most of the rest of the left-wing western media has made its choice to back those who wish to obliterate the Jewish homeland and perpetrate another Jewish genocide.

Honest Reporting, Backspin:
Guardian Places Knesset on Arab Farmland

Mon May 30, 2011 04:46 from HonestReporting » Backspin Category Feed by Simon Plosker.Only yesterday I blogged the BBC’s video report on the Arab village of Lifta, located at the western entrance to Jerusalem and abandoned since 1948. Within 48 hours of the BBC’s report, the Guardian has also published its own story and video.

Is this an amazing coincidence or is this an obvious demonstration of the similarity in the agendas of both the BBC and Guardian?

Both media outlets seem determined to bring the focus of the Arab-Israeli conflict back to the events of 1947/8 – a tactic employed by the Palestinians to present Israel as being “born in sin” and responsible for the “ethnic cleansing” of Palestinians and the creation of the refugee problem.

The fact that one Yacoub Odeh is the former Lifta resident guiding the BBC’s Wyre Davies and the Guardian’s Harriet Sherwood separately would suggest that this “tour” was a well-organized effort offered to the international media and eagerly picked up by those outlets sympathetic to the Palestinian narrative from 1948.

Memorial Day

Israel Must Reject Creation of Terror State Carved Out of the Jewish Homeland

The west should be pressuring the arab countries to take grant them citizenship. I’d like to know why Israel is expected to be responsible for these people rather than their Arab brethren who created their situation? I’d also like to know why Israel should be expected to relinquish part of its already miniscule territory to create a fakestinian terror state on its border instead of the Arab countries being pressured to relinquish their vast amounts of land to give to the fakestinians? The answer to these questions is obvious.

Arab League Goes for Broke, Officially Abandons ‘Talks’
by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu, INN
The Arab League has snubbed U.S. President Barack Obama and officially abandoned the path of “negotiations” with Israel for creating a Palestinian Authority state and will ask the United Nations to do so.

The 23-member League, which includes the Palestinian Authority, said on Saturday in Qatar that it backs PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ strategy for the United Nations to recognize the PA as a country based on its unilateral demands that it wants Israel to accept before “negotiations.”

The League held out the option of not turning to the United Nations if Israel shows it is “ready” to accept a Palestinian Authority state based on the Saudi Initiative of 2002, which includes the immigration to Israel of several million Arabs living in foreign countries, which have refused to grant them citizenship and a turning the 1949 indefensible Armistice lines into borders..

Erdogan Cancels Participation in Jihad Flotilla

It seems to me partly because of the fact that Bibi projected strength by standing up to Obama and aggressively defending his country, Turkey has cancelled plans to participate in another jihad flotilla and may be cutting off ties with Syria.

Turkey ditches Assad, calls off participation in Gaza flotilla

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report , May 25, 2011

...This change of policy has taken form in three additional steps:

1. The following message was posted to Damascus on Tuesday, May 24: Turkey is not a member of the European Union and is therefore not bound by its sanctions it has imposed freezing Assad's assets and barring him and his regime heads from travelling. Nonetheless, the Syrian ruler is advised not to try and test its intentions by trying to visit Turkey.

2. Assad's repression of the uprising in the Kurdish regions of northern Syria is causing ferment among the Kurds of southern Turkey. Unless it is stopped forthwith, Ankara will take overt action against the Syrian ruler.

3. Erdogan has discontinued his almost daily phone conversations with Assad. In any case, his advice to the Syrian ruler on how to overcome the uprising against him was never heeded....

Pat Condell Comes to the Defense of Jews

Pat Condell comes to the defense of Jews against the current onslaught of European anti-Semitism. He has even changed his mind and now believes that Israel should NOT surrender Jerusalem, albeit he thinks keeping it for religious reasons is 'stupid' which of course I disagree with. There are some other things I obviously disagree with Pat about Israel, but he understands this is a struggle between civilization and barbarism and westerners must take Israel's side.

The Left's War Against the Jews

The advocates of banning male circumcision can claim whatever they want as their
motivation, but clearly this is extension of the left's current war against the
Jews and Judaism.

Male circumcision ban proposed in Santa Monica By JPOST.COM STAFF
Advocates of the bill say procedure is painful and unnecessary, equate procedure to female circumcision practices.

A week after it was announced that San Francisco would be putting a male circumcision ban on September's ballot, a San Diego group has moved to ballot a circumcision ban inSanta Monica as well, the Los Angeles Times reported on Wednesday.

Matthew Hess, the founder and president of MGM (Male Genital Mutilation) Bill, the group pushing for a vote on the issue, said that circumcision removes "thousands of nerve endings" and is a painful and unnecessary. For Hess, the procedure is comparable to practices in some countries like Sudan or Egypt of removing part or all of female genitals.

San Francisco to put circumcision ban on the ballot

The San Francisco ban was put on September's ballot after a petition circulating the city received the required number of votes to put the issue to vote. At least 7,168 signatures were required, and 12,000 were received.

Opponents of the ban claim that the prohibition would violate the 1st Amendment prohibition of government interference with a person's religious practice. Both Jewish andMuslim tradition stipulates male circumcision but at different points in the boy's life.

The measure, if it passes, would make it a misdemeanor to circumcise a boy before the age of 18, with a maximum penalty of one years jail time or a $1,000 fine. The ban would allow circumcision only for medical reasons, without religious exceptions.

David Lehrer, a Jewish leader, said that the ban would "take the notion of the Mommy State to a ridiculous extreme. It probably touches on being anti-Semitic" the Times reported. He said there was no truth in comparing the procedure to female circumcision, as the process is not genital mutilation.

Advocates of the bill say that if better education about sexually transmitted diseases and hygiene management, male circumcision is unnecessary. According to the Times While there are no conclusive or widely accepted studies, some point to the fact that the procedure removes thousands of nerve endings, with the federal Center for Disease Control and Prevention saying due to the lack of conclusive evidence "the decision would rest solely with individuals and parents."

The MGM bill petition would need 6,000 signatures in order to be put on the ballot.

European Hypocrisy Over Libya

Not only is NATO aiding jihadists in Libya, but what further gets me is the hypocrisy of Britain and France, who supported the Goldstone report’s lies about Israeli “war crimes” in Gaza, are wantonly bombing a country which has not threatened Europe. But Israel is told to use the utmost restraint against terrorists in its own back yard. Further reasons to disdain Europe.

Contacts between insurgents and al Qaeda for the announcement of jihad in Libya Ennahar Online
“Abu Muslim al Djazairi”, a member of the legal commission of the organization al Qaeda, called Libyan insurgents to proceed with the formation of an armed organization and quit the opposition of the National Council of Transition, whom he accuses of allegiance to the West.

•Abu Muslim El Djazairi, the number two in the tribune "Menbar Ettawhid wel Jihad," after Al Maqdici, considered an important member of Al Qaeda organization, responding to a letter sent by a Libyan insurgent who called himself “Abu Djendel Ellib” has advised him to proceed in the formation of an armed organization that would combine the real revolutionaries, insisting that this should be done in the utmost discretion because, as he said, the fight has not yet begun.
Abu Muslim advised the insurgents also to coordinate their efforts with other terrorist organizations that activate in other regions.

NATO Bombs Libyan Capital in Heaviest Strikes Yet
TRIPOLI, Libya — In the heaviest attack yet on the capital since the start of the two-month-old NATO bombing campaign, alliance aircraft struck at least 15 targets in central Tripoli early Tuesday, with most of the airstrikes concentrated on an area around Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi’s command compound.

The strikes, within a 30-minute period around 1 a.m., caused thunderous explosions and fireballs that leapt high into the night sky, causing people in neighborhoods a mile or more away to cry out in alarm.

Just as one strike ended, the sound of jet engines from low-flying aircraft in the stormy skies above the capital signaled the imminence of another. Huge plumes of black smoke rose and converged over the darkened cityscape.

“We thought it was the day of judgment,” one enraged Libyan said.

The intensity of the attacks, and their focus on the area of the Bab al-Aziziya command compound in central Tripoli, appeared to reflect a NATO decision to step up the tempo of the air war over the Libyan capital, perhaps with a view to breaking the stalemate that has threatened to settle over the three-month-old Libyan conflict.

Europe Calls Bibi Arrogant For Not Agreeing To Commit National Suicide

Herein lies the stark contrast between the moral clarity of Americans and the lack of any semblence of a moral compass on the part of the Europeans. Americans unlike Europeans are able to distinguish between good and evil and right and wrong and know that Israel is on the right side and its enemies evil. Europe is willing to throw Israel and the Jews to the wolves in order to appease the muslim world. Europe regards Bibi's refusal to agree to commit national suicide as "arrogant". The fact that leaving Israel with an indefensible 9 mile wide state opens it to attack matters not at all to a Europe that couldn't care less whether Israel survives. In fact they would welcome Israel's demise. How dare Bibi not sacrifice the lives of his people and his nation's survival to what Europe views as the greater good of appeasing an implacable muslim world. Europe drove most of its Jews out and now wants to deprive them of their own state and the right to defend it. Understand why I hold Europe in contempt?

EU Backs Obama's Mideast Offensive
'Netanyahu's Rejection Is Self-Important and Arrogant'
The European Union is backing US President Obama's call for a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn says in an interview with SPIEGEL ONLINE. He also argues that, if the Israelis remain stubborn, the EU must consider taking political action.

SPIEGEL ONLINE: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected plans by US President Barack Obama for a Palestinian state based on the borders as they existed before the Six Day War in 1967. Is the Mideast peace process now dead?
Asselborn: Netanyahu's rejection of peace based on the 1967 borders is self-important and arrogant -- especially given that Obama explicitly stated that a variation from the 1967 borders would be possible under a mutual land swap. Netanyahu is suppressing the political reality and betting on a stalemate instead. For the peace process, that is deadly.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: The European Union constantly reiterates that Israel has a guaranteed right to exist. So shouldn't Europeans take more seriously Netanyahu's concern that Israel wouldn't be able to defend itself inside the 1967 borders?
Asselborn: My Swedish counterpart, Carl Bildt, correctly stated that the sole security guaranty for Israel is a peace treaty with the Palestinians and the Arab world. No government in the EU questions Israel's right to exist. Nor does Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas or his prime minister, Salam Fayyad. The only people who refuse to recognize Israel are the extremists of Hamas.

Livni is Wrong

Why does the world and even the Israeli left insist that only Israel can bring about peace? How is Israel magically supposed to bring about peace with enemies who’s ideology, rooted in the koran, sura and hadiths, is to reject the existence of a sovereign Jewish state and commit genocide against Jews?

Livni: Israel must take lead in enacting two-state solution By JPOST.COM STAFF

Opposition leader Tzipi Livni on Monday addressed the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s annual conference in Washington, saying the only way to maintain Israel as the national home of the Jewish people was to take the lead in enacting a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Livni said that such a move was in Israel’s interest and was not to be done as a favor to anyone else, including the US president, nor was the peace process nearly to be used as a talking point to increase Israel’s standing in the world.

The opposition leader stated that Israel must take the lead in the diplomatic process or the country risks having decisions made about its future against its will.

Americans Stand With Israel

Perhaps Obama’s speech was a blessing in disguise. He has created a firestorm and a groundswell of support for Israel amongst the American people, especially conservatives. If I didn’t know any better I would think that Obama was actually a pro-Zionist plant. Seriously though, Obama really does not understand Americans. While that part of his speech about Israel retreating to the ’49 armistice lines is enormously popular with the rest of the world, it is regarded as problematic by the majority of Americans. Americans, thank G-d are not like the rest of the world, we have moral clarity, we know the difference between good and evil and that is why Israel has such popular support in America. Europe on the other hand is morally debased.

Obama Angry at Bibi

This is an example of Obama's arrogance and narcissism. Did he actually expect Bibi to submit to his demand that Israel essentially commit national suicide? Did Obama absorb nothing that Bibi explained to him about the '67 lines being indefensible, or is he so stubbornly affixed to a radical left ideology that wrongly sees Israel as a colonial occupier rather than the Jews being the rightful inheritors, the indigenous people, of the Holy Land? Or is he simply unwavering in his hostility toward the Jewish state?

Reports say Obama angry at Netanyahu for Israeli PM’s rejection of Obama plan. A day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Barack Obama’s call that Israel return to the borders that existed before the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, reports from the Middle East say that Obama is not pleased with Netanyahu at all. Israeli media reports say that the president is frustrated that Netanyahu did not agree to his call to retreat back to the boundaries in effect before the 1967 war. Reports further say that Obama is blaming Netanyahu for being short-sighted due to his primary focus on the issue of pre-war borders.

According to Israel’s Haaretz, Obama wanted for Netanyahu to look at his pro-Arab policy as a whole instead of myopically at the issue of pre-1967 borders. However, for people who are firmly on Israel’s side, the suggestion by the president was nothing short of anathema. Still, Obama apparently believed that what he was proposing was actually in favor of Israel—even though his plan would shrink the size of Israel and provide a psychological victory for the terror-supporting Palestinians! In Obama’s mind, his whole plan—of which the call to pre-1967 borders was only a part—was actually in support of Israel because it called for the Palestinians to stop their steps toward recognition. That is a pathetic reason to justify the relinquishment of land that Israel won fair and square.

Col. West's Response to Obama's Betrayal of Israel

Col. West and Sarah Palin are my top choices to be the next president. President Obama wants Israel to surrender territory back to the indefensible '67 lines to their would-be annihilationists. This is not land for peace, but land for more terrorism, land for more rockets and suicide bombers. And this comes at a time when fatah has aligned with hamas, Egypt is about to be taken over by the jihadist muslim brotherhood which vows to abrogate the treaty with Israel and when Israel’s borders are being threatened on all sides. The fakestinians have no legal or historical right to any part of Israel. But Obama wants to create a terror state out of Israeli land and have Israel go back to being 8 miles wide on the basis of a wholly invented history which the world has unquestioningly accepted. Let their arab-muslim brethren provide a state for them or absorb them as citizens of their own countries. They have plenty of land. The Arabs have launched multiple wars of aggression against Israel. Israel owes nothing to the fakestinians whatsoever.

Allen West on Obama Backing Palestinian Demand: ‘Could Be the Beginning of the End’ for Israel
Tea Party Rep. Allen West has just issued a response to Obama‘s announcement that he backs Palestine’s demands that Israel redraw its borders to where they were in 1967. Not only did he call the move the “most egregious foreign policy decision” the administration has made, but he also feared this “could be the beginning of the end as we know it for the Jewish state.”
“The pre-1967 borders endorsed by President Obama would deny millions of the world’s Jews access to their holiest site and force Israel to return the strategically important Golan Heights to Syria, a known state-sponsor of terrorism,” West said in an e-mail.

“Resorting to the pre-1967 borders would mean a full withdrawal by the Israelis from the West Bank and the Jewish neighborhoods of East Jerusalem. Make no mistake, there has always been a Nation of Israel and Jerusalem has been and must always be recognized as its rightful capital”

He concluded with some harsh criticisms: “President Obama has not stood for Israel or the Jewish people and has made it clear where the United States will stand when Palestine attempts to gain recognition of statehood by the United Nations. The President should focus on the real obstacle to security- the Palestinian leadership and its ultimate goal to eliminate Israel and the Jewish people.”

West has been an outspoken supporter of Israel in the past. Back in January he delivered a speech at the Americans Against Hate Pro-Israel Conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL:

The Arab Big Lie

This article sums up the infantile attitude of the muslim world. The arab-muslims are emotionally the equivalent of toddlers. No matter how many non-muslims they massacre, no matter how much land they have stolen from others, in their eyes they are always the victims, they are always the ones that have been wronged. They never accept responsibility for any of the evils they have perpetrated. And the western media and governments have indulged this pathology for decades. Although the arabs stole land from the Jews and ethnically cleansed and slaughtered Jews, they proclaim themselves as the victims of genocide and land expropriations by the Jews. And for decades the entire world has accepted this historical revisionism. Jordan captured and illegally occupied eastern Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, drove the Jews out and confiscated their property. Even before the establishment of modern day Israel, Jews were subjected to periodic pogroms such as the 1929 massacre of the Jews of Hebron. Perhaps it is Jews who should wave fake, oversized keys to the cameras symbolizing the homes in which their ancestors were forced out of. The fakestinian big lie must finally be put to an end.

Daniel Greenfield article: Nakbacide

Posted: 16 May 2011 07:25 PM PDT

Imagine if every year on the 7th of May, Germans held an annual commemoration of the defeat of the Nazi state, complete with Swastikas, anti-Jewish chants and slogans, and a historical narrative claiming that the Volksdeutsche expelled from Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary were the real victims of WW2. That disgusting spectacle is exactly what takes place on May 15th as Arab Muslims chant and riot to protest their unsuccessful genocide of a regional minority.

It's hard to think of a more repulsive spectacle of historical obliviousness, than a regional majority responsible for multiple genocides dressing up as the victims because their invasion of Israel ended in a stalemate, rather than a genocidal purge of its residents. Perhaps only the Japanese, with their annual commemorations of a history that begins briefly before Hiroshima and ends after Nagasaki, leaving out Nanking and Pearl Harbor, are a match for the Palestinian Nakba.

The Arab history of Israel leaves out thousands of years of history of the original Jewish inhabitants and a thousand years of persecution under Arab rule. It leaves out the massacres and atrocities carried out by the Arab Muslim invaders against the Jewish inhabitants in the 20th century, including the Hebron Massacre, and the Nazi collaboration of their leader, the Mufti of Jerusalem. Instead it begins and ends with Deir Yassin and angry old women holding up oversized housekeys and reminiscing about the good times they had massacring Jews.

The Fascist Left Targets Wiesenfeld

The fascist left is at it again, demanding Jeffery Wiesenfeld resign from the board of CUNY because he opposed Israel-hating playwright Tony Kushner being given an honorary degree. And as usual, the left inverts the situation by accusing Wiesenfeld of being a bully when it is THEY who attempt to bully into submission and censor anyone who is pro-Israel or conservative.

Jewish Umbrella Group Defends Wiesenfeld in CUNY/Kushner Saga
by Phyllis Chesler
Posted on May 17 2011 6:12 pm Phyllis Chesler is an Emerita Professor of Psychology and Women's Studies at City University of New York. For extended biography visit The Phyllis Chesler Organization.

On the evening of May 15, 2011, Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME) emailed a letter to the Board of Trustees at City University of New York about the Wiesenfeld/Kushner/CUNY scandal. SPME is an academic group which represents 55,000 professors, researchers and students on 3,500 campuses worldwide.

Thus far, no New York mainstream media has covered this truly significant event and unprecedented act of academic courage. I checked today’s New York Daily News, the New York Post, and New York Times (NYT). As we know, the NYT published more than 10 articles, blogs, and columns on the brouhaha.

With the exception of the article written by Stanley Fish, the articles essentially defended Tony Kushner as a Great Artist-victim and pilloried Jeffrey Wiesenfeld as a bully. Few articles dealt with the issues. Everyone avoided doing so by attacking Wiesenfeld personally. Wiesenfeld was depicted as a man “obsessed” with Israel who, for that reason, was no longer entitled to free speech or to academic freedom. Wiesenfeld was also demonized by the Forward and by the New York Observer.

In other words, if a Trustee of a university does not toe the political party line against Israel and in favor of “Palestine,” then he will be slimed and asked to resign.

NY Slimes Carries Water for hamas

The media positions itself as the enemy of western civilization since it carries water for the jihadists. As to the NY Slimes and other media outlets portraying hamas as “moderate”, as long as hamas limits its goals to the obliteration of Israel and the genocide of Jews, the western elites in the media and academia will view it as “moderate”.

Bias and Deception in the Media’s Coverage of Mideast Turmoil
By Matthew M. Hausman

Showing that the line between advocacy journalism and deceptive reporting is very fine indeed, the American media has abdicated any pretense of objectivity in its coverage of the Arab-Muslim world. Rather, it is guided by an absurd political sensibility that downplays the totalitarian and supremacist aspects of Sharia, eschews any rational discussion of the scriptural underpinnings of Islamist extremism, and disregards clear radical influences in the Arab Spring. Some journalists come by this sensibility through simple ignorance, while others take their cues from a liberal press establishment that inexplicably finds common cause with the Islamist repudiation of western values, and accepts the canard that Muslim extremism is an understandable reaction to the past sins of European colonialism.

This useful idiocy is on full display when Hamas is portrayed as a legitimate political entity with which Israel must negotiate, or when the Muslim Brotherhood is regarded as a positive force for change in Egypt. In recently reporting on the murder of Vittorio Arrigoni, an Italian, pro-Palestinian activist, the New York Times offered a case study in dissimulation as it subtly attempted to draw artificial distinctions between Hamas and Al-Qaeda, implicitly portraying one as moderate and the other as more radical, when in fact both were spawned by the same parent organization and each is as extremist as the other in word and deed.

The Times reported that Mr. Arrigoni “died at the hands of a fringe group of Palestinians, inspired by Al Qaeda.” According to the article in the Times, the murder of Arrigoni:

Raised embarrassing questions for Hamas about the security it has restored in the Palestinian coastal enclave since it ousted its secular rival, Fatah . . . It also raises the specter of a growing boldness on the part of more extreme virulently anti-Western Islamic groups in Gaza, which pose a challenge not only to Hamas but to foreign activists promoting the Palestinian cause.

(“Killing of Pro-Palestinian Activist in Gaza Deals a Blow to Hamas,” Fares Akram and Isabel Kershner, New York Times, April 16, 2011.)

By stating that the acts of a “fringe group … inspired by Al Qaeda” could somehow embarrass or pose a challenge to Hamas, the Times implies that Hamas is not really extremist, but instead is moderate when compared to groups such as Al-Qaeda. This analysis is beyond absurd, however, ignoring as it does that Hamas is included on the U.S. State Department’s List of Foreign Terrorist Organizations, and overlooking the fact that Hamas arose out of the Muslim Brotherhood – the world’s oldest and largest Islamist movement.

European Anti-Semitism Reaches Epidemic Proportions

The situation for the Jews of Europe is similar to the way it was in the 1930's. And Europeans, just as in the 30's in the struggle between good and evil, have chosen evil. Europe is appeasing and even abetting the would-be perpetrators of genocide against the Jews in the vain hope that will save themselves from the jihadists. And just like the nazi era, that will end up in catastrophe for Europe. But European Jews can save themselves by fleeing to Israel. The European Jewish Congress shouldn't waste its effort on the impossible task of trying to show Europe the error of its ways and just get the hell out of there. Europe is driving out its productive, civilized Jewish population in favor of violent, unproductive immigrants on welfare bent on transforming Europe into a sharia state. We can see how that choice is working out for them.

Hudson NY:
The Full-Blown Return of Anti-Semitism in Europe
> by Guy Millière
> May 16, 2011
> On April 19, the Corfu synagogue, in Greece, was burned. How many Jews live in Corfu today? One hundred and fifty. How many Jews live in Greece? Eight thousand, or about 0.8% of the population. For some, it seems these figures are still far too high. Two other synagogues were burned in Greece during the past year. Anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls are spreading all over the country.
> What happened in Greece is happening everywhere across the European continent.
> During the last decade, synagogues were vandalized or set on fire in Poland, Sweden, Hungary, France. Anti-Semitic inscriptions are being drawn on building walls in Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, London, Berlin and Rome. Jewish cemeteries are being ransacked. Jews are being attacked on the streets of most major cities on the continent. In the Netherlands, the police use « decoy Jews » in order to try arrest the perpetrators red-handed.
> Jewish schools are being placed under police protection everywhere, and are usually equipped with security gates. Jewish children in public high schools are bullied; when parents complain, they are encouraged to choose another place of learning for their children.
> In some cities such as Malmö, Sweden, or Roubaix, France, the persecution suffered by the Jewish community has reached such a degree that people are selling their homes at any price and leaving. Those who stay have the constant feeling that they are risking their lives: they must be extremely streetwise and carry no sign showing who they are. In 1990, approximately 2000 Jewish people lived in Malmö; now there are fewer than 700, and the number is decreasing every year.
> Jews now, in fact, have to be streetwise in all European countries: men wearing a skullcap usually hide it under a hat or a cap. Owners of kosher restaurants located on avenues where protests are organized close their facilities before the arrival of the participants -- even if the protest is about wages or retirement age. They know too well that among the demonstrators, there will always be some who will express their rage at the sight of a Jewish name or a star of David on a store front. In Paris, on Labor Day, May 1st, in front of a Jewish café on Avenue of the Republic, several hundred demonstrators stopped and began to boo « Jews » and « Zionists ». A man coming out of the café was assaulted until police officers arrived on the scene.

A War of Genocide Being Waged Against Israel

The leftist media is no less evil than the bilge that invaded Israel clamoring for a Jewish genocide. The BBC, AP et al. act as propaganda outlets for the genocidal jihadists, inverting every muslim aggression against Israel as an Israeli aggression against its tormentors. So not surprisingly the reportage on yesterday's invasion of Israel is being portrayed as the IDF "opening fire" against "protesters". A war of annihilation is being waged against Israel by islam and the left. It is being waged on both the terrorist front and the propaganda front through lies, blood libels and historical revisionism. The time has come for Israel to act ruthlessly for its survival and stop talking nonsense about a two-state solution and phony "peace" treaties. Only by ruthlessly subduing its enemies through superior and overwhelming military firepower can Israel have peace.

Melanie Phillips:
Appropriate activity for Genocide Day

Today Israel was invaded from three borders: thousands invaded from Syria, Lebanon and Gaza, along with Arab rampages in east Jerusalem.

A number of people on the Syrian and Lebanese borders have been killed in these violent clashes, although in a still confused situation the IDF say at least some of these were killed by Lebanese forces. In addition, one Israeli was killed and several others injured in Tel Aviv, as an Arab truck driver smashed his vehicle into a bus and several cars. And in East Jerusalem, two policemen were run over and two Arabs injured when the police stopped a number of Arabs to check their papers.

The reason for this concerted onslaught was that today was the anniversary of what Arabs call the 'nakba or ‘catastrophe’, their word for the foundation of the State of Israel when five Arab armies tried to snuff out the nascent state and failed. ‘Nakba day’ is thus a restatement of the goal of eradicating Israel from the face of the earth. Its proper name should therefore be Genocide Day.

The invasion was organised by Syria, Hamas and Hezbollah. None of this should have come as the slightest surprise:

Israel Invaded

Hordes from Syria and Lebanon attempt to breach Israel's borders attacking police and soldiers to mark the creation of the Jewish state. Israel's independence, the liberation of the Jews in 1948 is considered by the muslims as a nakba, a catastrophe.

I think Israel was far too restraint in the face of this invasion. I have said before that islam is a blight, a scourge upon the planet. The islamic nations are unproductive, uncivilized and they contribute nothing of value to the world. There is absolutely nothing in the realm of science or the arts coming from the muslim world. The only thing coming from them is bloodshed on a massive scale. And yet the world demands Israel surrender its land for the creation of another islamic terror state.

A Turning Point in the Arab-Israeli Conflict?
by Daniel Pipes
May 15, 2011

I predicted a few weeks ago that Arab upheavals might inspire Palestinians to shift "away from warfare and terrorism in favor of non-violent political action. That could include massive non-violent demonstrations such as marching on Israeli towns, borders, and checkpoints."

Right on cue, on what Palestinians call "Nakba Day," a rejection of Israel's gaining independence on May 15, 1948, mass activity took place in a coordinated and unprecedented fashion today. A New York Times headline aptly summarizes events: "Israel Clashes with Protesters on Four Borders," being those of Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, and Gaza.

Of the four, the demonstration on the normally placid Golan Heights stands out. According to Joel Greenberg of the Washington Post,

The most serious incident was on the border between Syria and the occupied Golan Heights, where thousands of protestors gathered on the Syrian side and hundreds flooded into the Israeli-held territory after flattening the border fence. Scores entered the [Israeli-controlled] Druze village of Majdal Shams, gathering in the central square, where they raised Palestinian flags.

But, being Palestinians, they could not resist resorting to violence, thereby perhaps undercutting the whole effort. According to an account in Yedi'ot Aharonot, the Syrians trampled the border fence, hurled stones at Israeli troops, wounding ten, and left Israel by early evening, shouting out "We'll be back" to the applause of local villagers.

Syrian subjects crossing en masse onto the Golan Heights without Israeli permission has never (to the best of my knowledge) happened before. And, of course, in totalitarian Syria, this sort of occurrence requires government approval. While one can ascribe this protest to Damascus's wanting to divert attention from its own internal problems, it also fits into a larger picture.

Danny Danon, a leading Likud politician, portrayed the four-sided challenge as a rehearsal for September, when the Palestinian Authority expects the U.N. General Assembly declare a sovereign "Palestine." I go further and predict that this cross of civil disobedience and low-grade violence will be the Palestinians' favored tactic for some time to come. I also predict that it will fail if, as today, a death toll ensues. But it can do real damage to Israel if the leadership manages to keep the crowds non-violent. (May 15, 2011)

Pakistani muslims in Florida Arrested For Aiding the taliban

Raising money for jihad as well as the indoctrination and recruiting of jihadists are going on in mosques and madrassas all over America. Yet those who dare say we should be monitoring mosques and ordinary American citizens who oppose the building of muslim brotherhood mosques in their communities, are derided by the self-righteous leftist media and chattering classes as "racist". As though there is no basis for their concerns whatsoever.

US charges six with aiding Pakistani Taliban -- Yahoo! News

WASHINGTON (AFP) – US officials arrested three Pakistani Americans including two imams Saturday, charging them and three others with providing or seeking to provide "material support" to the Pakistani Taliban, the Justice Department said.

The defendants, five men and one woman, "are charged with conspiring to provide, and providing, material support to a conspiracy to murder, maim and kidnap persons overseas, as well as conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, specifically, the Pakistani Taliban," the department said in a statement.

Three of the defendants, including a 76-year-old imam of a Miami mosque, "are also charged with providing material support to the Pakistani Taliban," namely the transfer of funds to finance the group, which Washington lists as a terror organization.

At least five of the defendants are members of the same family.

The two men arrested in Florida, identified as US nationals Hafiz Khan, the imam and family patriarch, and his son Izhar Khan, 24, also an imam at a separate Florida mosque, are due to appear in federal court in Miami on Monday.

A second son, Irfan Khan, was arrested in Los Angeles. Three others, including Khan's daughter and her son, are at large in Pakistan.

Each face up to 15 years in prison per count.

The Justice Department, clearly wary of the sensitivities of linking religious figures to terror groups, repeatedly made clear in its statement that the indictment does not charge or accuse the mosques of wrongdoing, and that the defendants have been charged based on their role in providing "material support to terrorism," and not on their religious beliefs or teachings.

"Despite being an imam, or spiritual leader, Hafiz Khan was by no means a man of peace," US Attorney Wifredo Ferrer said in announcing the indictment.

"Instead, as today's charges show, he acted with others to support terrorists to further acts of murder, kidnapping and maiming. But for law enforcement intervention, these defendants would have continued to transfer funds to Pakistan to finance the Pakistani Taliban, including its purchase of guns," he said.

The five men and one woman were accused of using an elaborate system of bank accounts and wire transfers to send funding from the United States to Pakistan, in part to sustain militants and their families.

The indictment also alleges that the elder Khan supported the Taliban through a madrassa, or Islamic school, that he founded in the Swat region of Pakistan.

"Khan has allegedly... sent children from the madrassa to learn to kill Americans in Afghanistan," it said.

In July 2009, Khan and his son Irfan participated in a recorded conversation in which Khan "called for an attack on the Pakistani Assembly that would resemble the September 2008 suicide bombing of the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad," according to the Justice Department.

John Gillies, special agent in charge of the FBI's Miami office, said the arrests meant "terrorists have lost another funding source to use against innocent people and US interests.

"We will not allow this country to be used as a base for funding and recruiting terrorists," he said.

Bibi Must Resist Caving To Pressure

Bibi should simply state in his speech to Congress: “There will be no rewarding territory or statehood to islamic terrorists bent on another Jewish genocide. I declare the farcical “peace” process to be dead. All it ever was, was part of a phased plan for the obliteration of Israel. The only coexistence islam will ever accept is our complete submission and slavery to them”.

Obama’s newest ambush By Caroline B. Glick, JWR

It is hard to believe, but it appears that in the wake of the Palestinian unity deal that brings the genocidal, al Qaida-aligned, local franchise of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Hamas into a partnership with Fatah, US President Barack Obama has decided to open a new round of pressure on Israel to give away its land and national rights to the Palestinians. It is hard to believe that this is the case. But apparently it is.

On Wednesday The Wall Street Journal reported that while Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is in Washington next week, and before the premier has a chance to give his scheduled address to a joint session of Congress, Obama will give a new speech to the Arab world. In that speech, Obama will praise the populist movements that have risen up against Arab tyrannies and embrace them as the model for the future. As for Israel, the report claimed that the Obama administration is still trying to decide whether the time is right to put the screws on Israel once more.

On the one hand, Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes told the Journal that Arab leaders are clamoring for a new US initiative to force Israel to make new concessions. Joining this supposed clamor are the administration-allied pro-Palestinian lobby J-Street, and the administration-allied New York Times.

On the other hand, the Netanyahu government and the US Congress are calling for a US aid cut-off to the Palestinian Authority. With Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization now partnering with Fatah in governing the PA, it is illegal for the US government to continue to have anything to do with the PA. Both the Netanyahu government and senior members of the House and Senate are arguing forcefully that there is no way for Israel to make peace with the Palestinians now and that the US must abandon its efforts to force the sides to sign an agreement.

EU Backs hamas

Europe threatens Israel that either it negotiates with hamas or Europe will recognize a terror state of "palestine". So essentially the EU is demanding Israel give in to hamas' demands. Europe is irredeemably anti-Semitic. It has chosen to side with the barbarians over the civilized, industrious Jews. How's that working out for you Europe? Maybe Europe thinks it can benefit from all the scientific, technological and medical advances coming out of the muslim world and will undoubtedly be coming from the newly created sharia terror state of "palestine".

Europeans Threaten to Recognize Palestinian State Unless Israel Negotiates With Terrorist Group by Soeren Kern
Several European countries are threatening to recognize an independent Palestinian state — on the basis of the pre-1967 boundaries to include the West Bank, Gaza, and with East Jerusalem as its capital — if Israel refuses to return to the negotiating table with the Palestinian Authority by September. Given the new “reconciliation deal” between the rival Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas, Europeans are effectively demanding that Israel negotiate with Hamas, an Islamist terrorist group unambiguously committed to Israel’s destruction.

The Palestinians say they are on track to unilaterally declare statehood at the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly when it opens in New York in September. More than 110 countries — more than half of all UN members — have already recognized Palestine diplomatically. These includes European Union members Hungary, Poland and Romania. In recent weeks, however, the momentum to recognize a Palestinian state has been building in larger, more influential European countries.

In France, President Nicolas Sarkozy, in an interview with the L’Express newsmagazine on May 5, said: “If the peace process is still dead in September, France will face up to its responsibilities on the central question of the recognition of a Palestinian state. The idea that there is still plenty of time is dangerous. Things have to be brought to a conclusion” before September. Sarkozy also said that during the next few months, European countries would try “to relaunch the peace process along with the Americans, because Europe cannot be the main one paying for Palestine and yet remain a minor figure politically in the matter.”

CUNY To Honor Anti-Israel Playwright

By honoring Israel-hating leftist playwright Tony Kushner, CUNY is yet another college distinguishing itself as supporters of the would-be perpetrators of another Jewish genocide. Tony Kushner is of the belief that the Jewish state should never have existed and has accused Israel of various blood libels while having nothing to say against the real perpetrators of ethnic cleansing, apartheid and other human rights atrocities such as hamas, hezbollah, Iran, Syria and all of the other regimes in the Middle East. This moral inversion is par for the course on the left. Now the courageous Jeffrey Wiesenfeld is the object of hatred and vilification from the left for his outspoken opposition to honoring Kushner.

When I first described the City University of New York as the Communist University of New York, I had no idea how right I was.

It seems that Dr. Michael Meeropol, the son of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, is one of two professors at John Jay College who nominated Tony Kushner for this honorary degree. Meeropol is a professor of economics.

No, I do not think that the Rosenbergs should be prosecuted over and over again; I do believe that Julius Rosenberg has been proven guilty over and over again. Meeropol's brother Robert has admitted that his father was guilty of being a spy for the Soviet Union.

Meeropol is currently a Visiting Professor of Economics at John Jay. Both he and Professor Amy Green, also at John Jay, nominated Tony Kushner.

CUNY Trustees Set to Honor Anti-Israel Playwright
Do They Dare Accept My Challenge?
by Phyllis Chesler
May 7, 2011

As I predicted, CUNY has almost immediately reversed itself. Amidst an internet and email uprising by its faculty and by leading members of the left intelligentsia, the CUNY board of trustees will meet Monday to reconsider its decision to deny an honorary doctorate to playwright Tony Kushner.

Benno C. Schmidt Jr., chairman of the CUNY board since 2003, said in a statement that he believed the board had "made a mistake of principle, and not merely of policy," in failing to approve the degree from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice at its meeting on Monday. Mr. Schmidt scheduled a meeting for this coming Monday of the board's seven-member executive committee, which has the power to reconsider any board decision that is detrimental to the university.

Columbia Rewards al-jazeera

I find it revolting that Columbia University is awarding a journalism prize to pro-terror, pro-jihad propaganda outlet al-jazeera. Every American should. Yet it isn't the least bit surprising considering America's colleges and universities frequently give aid and comfort to our enemies. Columbia itself invited Iran's genocidal dictator to speak.

Columbia University Awards Top Journalism Prize to Al Jazeera English
Published May 05, 2011
| FoxNews.com

Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism will bestow its highest honor to Al Jazeera English, the university announced Wednesday.

The Columbia Journalism Award is given annually during the school's commencement to recognize an individual or organization for "singular journalism in the public interest," according to a press release. It will mark only the second time that the award is being given to an organization.

"Al Jazeera English has performed a great service in bringing the English-speaking world in-depth coverage of the turmoil in the Middle East," said Dean Nicholas Lemann. "We salute its determination to get to the heart of a complicated story unfolding in countries where news has historically been difficult to cover."

The school’s faculty, which selects the awardees, voted for Al Jazeera English for the "overall depth and quality of its peerless coverage of the ongoing protests in the Middle East," the release continued. Al Antsey, managing editor of Al Jazeera English, will accept the award and address the school's graduating class of 2011 on May 18.

Elizabeth Fishman, the school's associate dean of communications, told FoxNews.com the selection was made during a private faculty meeting. Past winners of the Columbia Journalism Award, which was established in 1958, include Walter Cronkite and Washington Post publisher Katharine Graham. The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour was the first outlet to win the award in 1993.

Dan Gainor, vice president of business and culture at the Media Research Center, a conservative watchdog group, told FoxNews.com he wasn't surprised by the selection.

“It isn't surprising that the liberal and Soros-funded Columbia Journalism School is also fond of the anti-American Al Jazeera," Gainor said in a statement. "Promoting Al Jazeera has become a new media cause célèbre, especially at The New York Times where criticism of America is a badge of honor. But awarding a state-funded propaganda network that supports radicals in the Arab Street cheapens what is left of the Columbia Journalism School name."

Happy Birthday Israel

In 63 years Israel has emerged as a world leader in science, technology and medicine. It stands out in the region as a beacon of freedom and human rights. All this while being under a persistent state of siege. It's enemies remain in the dark ages.

Via Israpundit:
Encountering Israel:
by Steve Kramer

The modern state of Israel is having its 63rd birthday this month. While its location is the ancient homeland of the Jews, Israel is only a tiny fraction, less than one per cent, of the overwhelmingly Arab Middle East. Yet Israel is a powerhouse militarily, economically, and overall. For example, Israel’s armed forces are so powerful that all the Arab armies combined have never been able to defeat it. Israel’s economy is so innovative that it is larger than all its contiguous neighbors combined. And the satisfaction level of Israel’s diverse population is so high that a “happiness” survey conducted by Gallup ranked Israel eighth out of 124 states, surpassing the United States, Britain, France, and Spain as well as many other Western nations.

Even with a relatively weak and disorganized army, in May, 1948 Israel was able to defeat the combined force of five Arab countries who tried to eliminate it following Israel’s Declaration of Independence. Without having built a powerful military force, Israel would not have made it to its 20th anniversary, let alone its 63rd. It was the Six Day War of 1967 which electrified the world and signaled Israel’s entry among the world’s most powerful military forces.

Outnumbered 30:1 by its Muslim rivals (its contiguous neighbors + Iran), Israel is still capable of defending itself against a combined onslaught, should it happen. Though Israel’s army is dependent on a large reserve force, it is consistently ranked in the “top 10 armies” by experts. The regular army is drawn from 18-year-old recruits who serve a three-year term. Those who vie for induction into infantry brigades are highly motivated and compete fiercely for positions in the elite units and the paratroopers. Equally important is the competition to become a recruit in one of many units specializing in cyber warfare or in intelligence, where Israel’s innovative talent is showcased.

Besides developing military satellites, artillery, missiles, and tanks which are among the world’s finest, Israel has an officially unacknowledged nuclear arsenal. Israel has not admitted to having this capability, but it is reliably assumed that it possesses several hundred warheads, which none of its enemies can match (yet).

While Israel’s navy is small and very specialized, it does maintain a fleet of five Dolphin-class submarines. At least two of the subs are always at sea: one in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf, the other in the Mediterranean. Most experts believe that the fleet is outfitted with nuclear-tipped missiles. There are three additional submarines in Israel’s fleet and a sixth, more advanced sub is being built in Germany.

Israel’s air force is highly regarded by experts and is consistently ranked in the “top ten”; sometimes it’s even coupled with America at the top of the list. Our pilots are perhaps the world’s best trained and there is a large force of the most advanced jet fighters and helicopters. The air force has made unique operations look almost routine, such as the 1981 strike against the Osirak nuclear facility in Iraq, the 2007 strike against a Syrian nuclear facility, and the 2009 strike against an arms shipment in Sudan destined for Gaza.

It is becoming well known around the world that Israel is an economic powerhouse, especially in the newest technologies. On a per capita basis, no other nation comes close to Israel’s accomplishments: highest percentage of home computers except for Switzerland; one of the highest for patents filed (#4); highest ratio of university degrees among the population; highest percentage of workforce with university degrees other than the US; highest number of scientists and technicians; highest number of Nobel prize recipients; among the leaders in citations in scientific publications; and Israelis publish and read the most books.

Israel has many other distinctions, despite its tiny population: largest number of startup companies other than the US; highest concentration of hi-tech companies other than the Silicon Valley; largest recipient of venture capital funds other than the US; the largest number of NASDAQ-listed companies other than the US and Canada; largest number of biotech startups; and it has three universities ranked in the global top 200 (the only such schools located between Europe and India, which has four top universities and a population 165 times that of Israel).

Israel has won 11 Nobel Prizes, the same number as India, and has won more Nobel Prizes per capita than America. Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Christians, Muslims and Jews, including women, are free to vote. It also has the highest life expectancy in the region, 81 years, which is higher than in America. Perhaps the best evidence that life is thriving in Israel is that our increasing birthrate is highest among Western countries and continues to increase the population, unlike all other Western countries. Here, the typical family has three children. With all this, it’s no surprise that Israel has the highest average living standard in the Middle East, despite its lack of oil wells.

Israel is ranked #8 worldwide in the happiness of its citizens. The Gallup poll showed that 62% of Israel’s citizens say they are satisfied with their life, while just 3% described themselves as “suffering”. Four Scandinavian countries head that list. Israel outranked all its neighbors in the Middle East while sharing eighth place with Australia, Canada, and Switzerland.

I’ve presented a lot of facts, maybe too many, but the inescapable conclusion is that Israel is a country whose people are happy, highly motivated, and prosperous. Even our cows are happy – they produce more milk than those in any other country. We are three quarters Jewish, a mixture of peoples from all over the world, and we extend equal rights to all our citizens. We provide expertise in agriculture, public health, anti-desertification and water management to hungry and thirsty countries, even though they mostly vote against us in the United Nations. We do all this with the handicap of spending more money per capita on defense than any other country.

We’ve just returned from the ceremony here in Alfe Menashe which commences the Day of Remembrance for our soldiers and terror victims. It doesn’t get easier each year to come to grips with the losses which afflict our friends and neighbors, as we watch the stories of those who are gone. After 63 years, this outpouring of empathy for vanished comrades is one of the many things to be proud of in Israel. Theodor Herzl would be astonished to see our Jewish country – or perhaps he would not even be surprised. One thing is certain, especially as the memorial day turns into Independence Day eve twenty-four hours from now: Israelis pay a heavy price to live in our homeland, but it is worth all the effort and cost. After 20 years of life in Israel, my wife Michal and I can vouch for that!

No Peace to be Had With Genocidal Jihadists

To the “peace at any price” crowd; should your advice be taken, it is not actually peace that will be achieved, it is slavery and submission to islam, the obliteration of Israel and the genocide of Jews which will result.

Via Israpundit:
Hamas’ useful idiots

By James Kirchick , HAARETZ

The reconciliation pact signed between Fatah and Hamas on Wednesday is a disaster. A disaster for Israelis, who for years have suffered rocket attacks from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, and for their government, which waged a war on Hamas in late 2008 and early 2009 and has subsequently tried to weaken the Islamist movement’s hold on the Strip via an unpopular blockade. And it’s a disaster for the West, which has attempted to isolate Hamas with sanctions while giving billions of dollars in aid to the Palestinian Authority government in the West Bank.

But most of all, it is a disaster for the Palestinian people, who have seen their chances of achieving statehood suffer a serious blow.

You wouldn’t know this from reading the upbeat reactions of those people outside the region who consider themselves friends of the Palestinian cause. “If the United States and the international community support this effort, they can help Palestinian democracy and establish the basis for a unified Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza that can make a secure peace with Israel,” former President Jimmy Carter wrote in The Washington Post on Wednesday.

In that same paper on the same day, Robert Malley of the International Crisis Group suggested that, “Washington should at least refrain from reflexively viewing [a unity government] as a setback and seeking to undo it.” Support for this agreement goes back years. In 2009, Peter Beinart wrote in Time magazine that Hamas was nothing less than “U.S. Diplomacy’s Final Frontier.”

Supporters of Hamas’ inclusion in the Palestinian government base their case on the movement’s victory in the 2006 Palestinian elections. The West refused to recognize the result because Hamas is a terrorist organization that has yet to accept the Quartet’s preconditions for negotiations – namely, renouncing violence and recognizing Israel. None of this mattered to Hamas’ useful idiots in the West, however, who have been echoing the organization’s grievances since it fought its way to power in the Strip nearly four years ago.

In July 2007, a month after Hamas’ violent Gaza coup, prominent unity government advocate Daniel Levy told the Daily Telegraph that, “For any process to have sustainability, legitimacy, and to guarantee security, it will have to be inclusive, not divisive, and to bring in Hamas over time.” Levy called Hamas a “bulwark against al Qaeda.”

Jihad in the South

Minarets towering over steeples in the south. Its enough to turn my stomach. We ought to at least do what Switzerland did and ban minarets, but that will never happen. Mosques are breeding grounds for jihadists and minarets are a symbol of islamic supremacy and imperialism.

Human Events:
Southern-Fried Jihadists?by Jason Mattera

05/05/2011 Homegrown Islamic terrorists are consciously moving to the South to take their Jihad to the heart of “infidel America,” says Erick Stackelbeck, investigative reporter and author of the new book, The Terrorist Next Door.

When we sat down, Stackelbeck argued that monster mosques are popping up everywhere below the Mason-Dixon Line because Jihadists want to “challenge American Christendom.” These multi-million dollar facilities, Stackelback suspects, are almost completely funded with Saudi Arabian and United Arab Emirates money. As you’ll see in our interview, Stackelback highlights a massive mosque in the Nashville area that had to get gobs of financial assistance for construction from elsewhere than the local Muslim community, as there are only 200 Muslim families in the area.

Oh, and these mosques are generally built near churches on purpose with the “minaret” towering over the “steeple,” and that’s not by accident. I’ll let Stackelbeck explain:

Responding to Israel-Bashers

During the GOP presidential debate last night in South Carolina, Ron Paul said all aid to Israel should be cut-off. Here is how to respond to Ron Paul's ignorant and uninformed stance on Israel. There are many others like him who see our support and military aid to Israel as a burden, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Via Israpundit:
Total exports from the U.S. to Israel between 2004 and 2008 was $58.6BN—almost
five times twice the $12BN Israel received in U.S. aid during this period. The
annual average of U.S. exports to Israel during this period was $11.7BN, more
than five times the average American aid package!

Israel must spend about 74 percent of U.S. military aid in the United States,
where it provides jobs for an estimated 50,000 American workingmen.

? Unknown to many observers, U.S. military aid to Israel creates a demand for,
and the purchase of, tens of billions of dollars worth of U.S. weaponry by Saudi
Arabia and other Arab states. U.S. grants to Israel—far from imposing a burden
on the American tax payer—actually enriches the American economy. (American arms
manufacturers know this. So do Senators and Representatives who represent states
in which corporations such as Boeing, Lockheed, and General Dynamics are
located. These elected officials, along with these corporations, have vested
interests in opposing any sanctions against Israel if its government were to
take a more independent and vigorous stand against the Palestinian Authority.)

According to Gen. George Keegan, a former chief of U.S. Air Force Intelligence,
between 1974 and 1990, Israeli aid to America was worth between $50-80BN in
intelligence, research and development savings, Soviet weapons systems captured
and transferred to the Pentagon, and testing Soviet military doctrines up to
1990 when the USSR collapsed. Senator Daniel Inouye put it this way: "The
contribution made by Israeli intelligence to America is greater than that
provided by all NATO countries combined."

Recall that in 1970, at Washington's request, Israel prevented a Syrian invasion
of Jordan. By protecting Jordan from that client of the Soviet Union, Israel
thwarted Moscow's ambitions in the Middle East. It would be naive to think that
Russia has abandoned its historic objectives in this region.)

Now let us paraphrase a report of Yoram Ettinger, former Israeli liaison to the
U.S. Congress:[1]

Israel constantly relays to the U.S. lessons of battle and counter-terrorism,
which reduce American losses in Iraq and Afghanistan, prevent attacks on U.S.
soil, upgrade American weapons, and contribute to the U.S. economy. Innovative
Israeli technologies boost U.S. industries.

The vice-president of the company that produces the F16 fighter jets told
Ettinger that Israel is responsible for 600 improvements in the plane's systems,
modifications estimated to be worth billions of dollars, which spared dozens of
research and development years.

Without Israel, the U.S. would have to deploy tens of thousands of American
troops in the eastern Mediterranean Basin, at a cost of billions of dollars a

In 1981, Israel bombed the Iraqi nuclear reactor, thus providing the U.S. with
the option of engaging in conventional wars with Iraq in 1991 and 2003, thereby
preventing a possible nuclear war and its horrendous consequences.

In 2005, Israel provided America with the world's most extensive experience in
homeland defense and warfare against suicide bombers and car bombs. American
soldiers train in IDF facilities and Israeli-made drones fly above the Sunni
Triangle in Iraq, as well as in Afghanistan, providing U.S. Marines with vital
intelligence that saved many American lives.

But I have not mentioned Israel's greatest gift to America's well-being and
prosperity, a gift of incalculable value, exceeding by far all that Israel
receives from the U.S. For Israel provides America with 25,000 high tech
workers, 324 scientists, 902 doctors who studied medicine in Israel, 1,800
Israeli professors and lecturers, 171 high ranking military officers, and
thousands of other professional people whose contribution to the American
economy is priceless.[2] Dr. Sisco knew whereof he spoke.

No Difference Between osama and yassin

As far as Europe is concerned, hamas terrorist hancho yassin is not considered as evil as bin laden because he only stuck to murdering Jews. This is why Israel's justifiable targeted killing of him was condemned as unlawful. Had Israel been bin laden's sole target instead of the west, he would have been seen as a peace partner, invited to speak at the UN and received red carpet treatment in European capitals as a statesman. His wives would have frequented the shops of Paris and London. Essentially he would have been treated like arafat.

Bin Laden versus Yassin
Op-ed: Hypocritical world that slammed killing of Hamas’ Yassin now lauds bin Laden hit
Manfred Gerstenfeld
Published: 05.03.11, 23:29 / Israel Opinion

The flurry of international reactions to the killing of Osama bin Laden by the American army provides Israel with a great opportunity to demonstrate the double standards applied against it by so many in the Western world and elsewhere. All one has to do is compare the reactions of major institutions and leaders with those after the death of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. This leader of the Hamas terrorist organization was killed by Israel in 2004. He was directly responsible for many lethal attacks on Israeli civilians including suicide bombings.

On Monday, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon told reporters that "the death of Osama bin Laden, announced by President (Barack) Obama last night, is a watershed moment in our common global fight against terrorism." Yet after the killing of Sheikh Yassin, then-UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said "I do condemn the targeted assassination of Sheikh Yassin and the others who died with him. Such actions are not only contrary to international law, but they do not do anything to help the search for a peaceful solution.”

The now-defunct UN Commission on Human Rights condemned “the tragic death of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in contravention of the Hague Convention IV of 1907.” At the Security Council, the US had to use its veto power to prevent condemnation of Israel.

After the bin Laden killing, the leaders of the European Council and European Commission stated that his death made the world a safer place and showed that terrorist attacks do not remain unpunished. Following the Yassin killing, then-EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana said, "This type of action does not contribute at all to create the conditions of peace. This is very, very bad news for the peace process. The policy of the European Union has been consistently condemnation of extra-judicial killing."
British Prime Minister David Cameron congratulated President Obama on the success of the bin Laden assassination. Cameron considered it a massive step forward in the fight against extremist terrorism. Former Prime Minister Tony Blair also welcomed bin Laden’s demise.

However, the killing of Sheikh Yassin was called by the then-British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw “unacceptable” and “unjustified.” The official spokesman of then-Prime Minister Blair condemned the “unlawful attack“ and observed: "We have repeatedly made clear our opposition to Israel's use of targeted killings and assassinations.”

Release the Photos

In deference to islamic sensitivities bin laden was given an islamic funeral and now the president has announced the photos of his body will not be released over fears the photos will enrage and inflame the muslim world. Don't they get it by now that the jihadists are perpetually in a murderous rage and nothing we do to attempt to placate them will make any difference? He should have just been thrown to the sharks without a ceremony and the ritual cleansing of his body and so forth. It's beyond absurd to treat this mass murdering enemy of America with any respect. This is political correctness and sensitivity gone way overboard. No pun intended.

Bush Has Been vindicated

G-d bless our troops and former president Bush who approved of the interrogation techniques which were used to find bin laden and which obama, the left and democrats opposed. The job got done in spite of Obama but that hasn't stopped his lackeys from giving him the credit and ignoring Bush's role. Now they want to take credit for that which they have opposed for years. President Obama and the Democrats must now admit they were wrong and Bush was right regarding interrogation teqniques which they wrongly referred to as "torture". If president Bush had listened to them, bin laden would not have been found and killed.

The Long Awaited Death of bin laden

Obama may take credit and milk this for all its worth, however ALL the credit goes to the skill and bravery of the special ops forces and intelligence. I hope bin laden saw American soldiers heading in his direction. I hope he came face to face with them and I hope he suffered the most excruciatingly painful death imaginable. More horrific than that which those poor souls suffered in the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and on the airplanes on 911. While the media may act as though our war was simply with bin laden and al qaeda, our enemy is islam itself, although that is not considered politically correct to state. It is islam which inspires their violent and murderous acts. I read that cowardly jihadists hid behind women in the compound when faced with American troops. Also Pakistan, having been harboring bin laden, has showed it is not an ally and all funding to that country must be stopped.
