Obama Admin Sides With Palestinians, Hits Romney by Ben Shapiro The Obama administration, trying to dig itself out of a hole with American Jews, just inadvertently dug itself in even deeper. Today, Mitt Romney spoke in Jerusalem, where he attributed Palestinian economic stagnation to cultural issues: Culture makes all the difference. And as I come here and I look out over this city and consider the accomplishments of the people of this nation, I recognize the power of at least culture and a few other things. As you come here and you see the GDP per capita, for instance, in Israel which is about $21,000, and compare that with GDP per capita just across the areas managed by the Palestinian Authority, which is more like $10,000 per capita, you notice such a dramatically stark difference in economic vitality. In point of fact, as of 2009, Israel had a per capita GDP of just under $30,000, while the Palestinians were below $3,000. But that wasn’t the bone the Obama administration had to pick with Romney. Instead, the Obama administration said that Romney’s comments wouldn’t allow America to be “seen as an honest broker … Romney fell off the tightrope pretty dramatically.” Those were the words of Colin Kahl, an Obama campaign foreign policy advisor direct from the Pentagon – the same Pentagon that has routinely leaked Israeli national security information that would allow the Jewish State to strike Iranian nuclear facilities. The Israeli-Palestinian issue, said Kahl, was “extraordinarily complicated and delicate issues and is not something you can just wing it on and expect not to make some mistakes, and Governor Romney made a big one.” There is only one problem with this, of course: America is not supposed to be an honest broker between Israel, an American ally, and the Palestinians, a terrorist-supporting population led by Hamas and the deeply corrupt Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian culture does prevent economic growth – teaching hatred for Israelis and the west, and preventing education of women will do that. The Obama administration may be trying to score political points at Mitt Romney’s expense, but all they’ve succeeded in doing is underscoring their own tepid support for the State of Israel. That doesn’t stop the New York Times from labeling Romney’s statements a gaffe, and stating that this was “the second time that Mr. Romney has unwittingly offended a group of people in a part of the world he was visiting.” But Romney was right – culture matters. And the Obama administration and New York Times are going to have a rough go of convincing American Jews that they should vote for Obama when he wants to pretend that culture isn’t a significant differentiator between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs.

The criticism of Romney is consistent with the liberals moral relativism that believes all cultures should be equally respected and are equally good. This is total crap. They should view MEMRI and Palestinian Media Watch which documents and translates the hatred and incitement against Jews which is shown on "palestinian" tv to children. The "palestinian" culture glorifies death, teaches its children that their highest aspiration should be martyrdom, that is to blow themselves up in a crowd of Jews. And when that occurs the parents and people in the streets hand out candies in celebration. Contrast that with the Jewish and Christian belief in the sanctity of life. Is it any wonder why the muslim world is so backwards. Romney said nothing wrong, in fact he stated the blunt truth making a cultural distinction as to why Israel is so much better off economically than the Arabs. I hope he doesn't backtrack. Breitbart:

Mind you that the owner of Chick-fil-a is being crucified for merely opposing gay marriage, he doesn't actually discriminate against gays. Yet the muslim owner of a luxury hotel in Santa Monica threw Jews out simply because they were Jewish. Can you believe this is happening in 21st century America? So Where are the liberals in Hollywood? Why aren't they calling for a boycott of this hotel? Where are the liberal Jewish organizations? What do the Rabbis promoting interfaith outreach to muslims have to say? Imagine the hue and cry if this was done to muslims or blacks. This incident happened 2 years ago yet is the first time I have heard of it. I have not seen this incident covered anywhere. It is being kept under wraps by the pro-jihad media. Why are we allowing people into this country with an ideology that does not respect equal rights under the law, which is what this nation is based on? Atlas Shrugs:
Muslim American Owner of Santa Monica Shangra-La hotel: “Get the [expletive] Jews out of my pool!” If it were anyone other than a Muslim supremacist Jew-hater, people would be going to jail. Hamas-CAIR would be demanding jail time under hate crime laws if it had been a Muslim in the pool. I expect his defense will be that Islamic Jew-hatred is in the quran. Obama say "respect it!" If the muslim-arab countries refuse to be good sportsmen and honor the spirit of the olympics and stop their racist and infantile behavior toward the Jewish state, they should be barred from participation. A Greek athlete was banned for supposedly racist comments. But not only is Arab-muslim Jew-hatred tolerated, it is given accomodation. The hypocrisy of the IOC knows no bounds. Atlas Shrugs:
"Arabs protest Israel's participation in Olympics" INN, July 29, 2012 Arab nations use Olympic opening ceremony to showcase Israel in negative light; Al-Jazeera commentators say 'Israel doesn't deserve it' as Israeli delegation enters stadium For millions of people across the world, the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games was a spectacular and moving symbol of unity. But there are some in the Arab media who insist upon viewing the multinational event as just another opportunity to showcase Israel as a "leprous entity." During the opening ceremony, the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera network provided its many viewers with elaborate commentary as each country's Olympic delegation marched down the London stadium. However, as soon as the Israeli delegation entered the stadium led by windsurfer Shahar Zubari who was wielding the Israeli flag with pride, the Arab broadcasters suddenly fell silent. The festive ceremony was covered by the two renowned Arab sport commentators, Yousef Saif and Isam Shawali. As the Israeli team entered the stadium, Shawali said "They don't deserve it." The Arab disdain for the Israeli Olympic team was quite apparent on the opening night of Olympic games when Lebanese judo fighters refused to train on the same mat as the Israeli Olympic team, forcing Olympic officials to erect a screen between the two teams. As the games began, several Arab nations held heated debates about a possible face-off between an Arab country and the Israeli team Reports claiming that Algeria is also debating the issue, have been circling the media, however, Rashid Hanifi, head of the nation's Olympic Committee, denied in a press conference that the Algerian government had instructed its athletes to boycott matches with Israeli athletes. Boycotts of Israeli athletes in international competitions are not without precedent. In 2004, Israeli judoka Udi Wax was slotted to compete against then-world champion, Iran's Arash Mirasmaeili, but the latter initially refused to play as a demonstration of "solidarity with Palestinian suffering." In Iran, citizens did not even have the option of watching the Israeli delegation march down the Olympic stadium on live television, as it is likely that the Islamic Republic chose to edit the live broadcast and air it at a later time, due to the "immodest appearance" of female athletes and the Israeli team's appearance on TV.Here is a history of IOC antisemitism
The American Jewish community needs to shun these organizations and form truly Zionist groups. At a time when we need leaders with steel in their spines, we are stuck with the likes of the feeble Jewish Federations which repeatedly betray the Jewish people to ingratiate themselves with our enemies. These organizations exist to line the pockets of those that run them and have completely strayed from their original mission to protect the interests of the Jewish people. Outside of Lori’s Z Street and the Zionist Organization of America, I cannot think of any worthy American Jewish organizations. Instead of proudly calling themselves Zionists, they distance themselves because they claim the term is "controversial". Meaning the idea of Zionism, which is Jewish self-determination, enrages muslims, leftists and other assorted antisemites. The Jewish Federation does not wish to offend antisemites. Pamella Geller appropriately refers to such "Jews" as Jewicidals. Israpundit:
Jewish Federations are abandoning Israel By Jerry Gordon, Iconoclast Lori Lowenthal Marcus of Z Street writes in The Jewish Press of plans by the North American Jewish Federation to drop the term “Zionism” from its Global Planning Table, “Jewish Federations to Drop “Zionism” from their Global Plans”. And we all thought that Jewish Federations were the focus of the American Jewish Community’s coimmitment of the Jewish State of Israel. However, we have seen over the past few years evidence of distancing of Federations’ from commitment to Israel. That was reflected in underwriting Olive Tree Initiative trips for college students at UC Irvine in California to mistakenly meet Hamas Representatives on the West Bank in Israel by an affiliate of the Jewish Federation of Orange County California. Or inclusion of left extremist Jewish fellow travelers of the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions cause on Federation Israel Action Committees. Or showing Palestinian propaganda films at Federation sponsored Film Festivals. When we launched a pledge to oppose such activities, we got only one response from the Saratoga Manatee Federation in Florida. Marcus’ column in The Jewish Press comes on the eve of the Tish B’Av - the ninth of the month of Av in the Jewish calendar. It is a fast day that commemorates many of the calamities that have befallen the Jewish people ranging across the millenia from the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem in 586 BCE and 70 CE to the fall of the Jewish Republic in 135 CE to the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492 to the Holocaust. We read from the Book of Lamentations. In Psalm 137.5 we read: “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.” Apparently, Federations have forgotten that Zionism was the underlying cause of their existence. Pity!

These people are insane. The left is unhinged and are outright fascists. These would be the same whackjobs who defend islam, even as homosexuals are actually being executed in muslim countries. And what gives the mayor of Boston the authority to block a restaurant from opening? His actions can only be described as communism. This is the frightening climate we are living in America today. The attack on capitalism and Judeo-Christian values is relentless. The left is openly waging war against America. Twitchy:
Eliza Dushku wants government to ban new Chick-fil-A restaurants According to the Associated Press, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino is vowing to block Chick-Fil-A from opening new restaurants in his city. This morning, actress Eliza Dushku retweeted the story along with the supportive comment, “That’s right, B!” Chick-Fil-A has come under attack from gay rights activists over its CEO’s opposition to same-sex marriage.
Mark Levin reveals that Michele Bachmann has been threatened by the GOP to apologize for her letter to the State Department or lose her position on the House Intelligence Committee. One outrage piles on top of another on a daily basis. Our government is protecting Huma Abedin and other potential muslim brotherhood operatives infiltrating our government. Both parties are protecting America’s mortal enemies. The GOP establishment is concerned about protecting their own hides, not in America’s national security. I hope Michele Bachmann stands her ground. Mark Levin: It is true, Bachmann WAS told to apologize or she might lose her intelligence committee post
If the Israeli athletes didn't get their minute of silence then why should the 7/7 victims be given a tribute? Why are British victims of terror more worthy of honoring than Jewish Israelis? And the Israeli athletes were massacred at the olympics itself. The overt hypocrisy of the IOC is stunning and repugnant. London Olympics pauses to honor dead Brits, not Israelis And Brits have the nerve to be angered because NBC cut out the tribute. Sorry, but I cannot get worked up over that. The IOC made the fake, phony excuse of claiming to not want to politicize the games by having a minute of silence for the murdered Israeli athletes. Meanwhile the lying, hypocritical bastards held a moment of silence for the Bosnian muslims which had no connection to the olympics. But Jewish-Israeli athletes who were actually murdered at the olympics are not worthy of honoring. Atlas:

The extraordinary dhimmitude of the IOC (and by extension the EU) continues to surprise even the most cynical. I hope Rogge and the rest of the craven, cowardly weasels of the IOC are proud of themselves now that they have received praise from the terrorist PA. The PA considers honoring the murdered Israeli athletes would amount to racism and would go against the peace and brotherhood ideal of the olympics. Presumably massacring innocent Jewish athletes was a peaceful act in keeping with the olympic spirit. Such utter depravity is to be expected from the PA. The real outrage is that the IOC has chosen to capitulate to these inhuman savages.
PA against moment of silence at Olympics: "Sports are meant for peace, not for racism" http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=7189 by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik The Palestinian Authority is against the moment of silence at the Olympics to commemorate the Israeli athletes murdered at the Munich Olympics in 1972. According to the headline in the official PA daily, "Sports are meant for peace, not for racism." According to Jibril Rajoub, President of the Palestinian Olympic Committee: "Sports are a bridge to love, interconnection, and spreading of peace among nations; it must not be a cause of division and spreading of racism between them [nations]." [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 25, 2012] These words appeared in a letter sent by Rajoub to the President of the International Olympic Committee, Jacques Rogge. The letter "expressed appreciation for [Rogge's] position, who opposed the Israeli position, which demanded a moment's silence at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in London." The PA daily does not refer to the murder of the Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972 as terror. In the article about Rajoub's letter, the killing of the athletes is referred to as "the Munich Operation, which took place during the Munich Olympics in 1972." The PA is against the moment of silence because they view the murder of Israelis by Palestinians not as terror but as heroism. Palestinian Media Watch has documented the PA's ongoing policy to glorify terror and terrorists. The murder of the 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics is presented as a highlight of Palestinian "operations" and one of their great accomplishments. In 2010, the official PA daily referred to the Olympic massacre as a "shining station" and its planner was called a "star who sparkled... at the sports stadium in Munich" (see below for full texts of the PA glorifying the terror attack at the Olympics and the terrorists who planned it). In his letter, PA Olympics Committee Head Rajoub praised Rogge's refusal to have a moment of silence in memory of the Israeli athletes: "He said that his [Rogge's] position not to politicize sports, and his determination to implement the International Olympic Charter represents a victory for freedom in sports." (See the full article about Rajoub's letter below.) [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 25, 2012]continue reading

The current issue of ISNA’s bi-monthly magazine Islamic Horizons carries an article about ISNA’s demand for gun control. Specifically, the article, with the unambiguous title “ISNA Seeks Gun Control,” cites the shooting of Trayvon Martin to explain their opposition to S. 2188, the “National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012,” and S. 2213, the “Respecting States’ Rights and Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012.” An April 13th action alert on ISNA’s website directs their supporters to contact Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to have him stop the legislation from becoming law. The same action alert states that ISNA is part of the Brady Center’s “Faiths United to Oppose Gun Violence,” and the Islamic group signed onto the Brady Center’s “Faith” group letter to Reid demanding he block the legislation. This is not the first time that ISNA and the Brady Center have united to oppose the Second Amendment. As noted by The Truth About Guns in February 2011, ISNA was one of the original founding groups of the “Faiths United to Oppose Gun Violence” when it was rolled out by the Brady Center. Nor is the Second Amendment the only constitutional freedom under assault by ISNA and its leaders.continue reading
The antisemitic BBC still cannot bring itself to call Jerusalem the capital of Israel. And the equally Jew-hating Guardian calls Tel Aviv Israel's capital. Who are these malcontents to take it upon themselves to decide what Israel's capital is? This is blatant contempt and disrespect for Israel's sovereignty. Every other country in the world chooses what its own capital is and that city is thus recognized as the capital by the rest of the world.
Prime Minister’s Office to BBC: We insist you call Jerusalem Israel’s capital British broadcaster has already changed its Olympics website once, now brands Jerusalem as ‘seat of government’ By RAPHAEL AHREN July 22, 2012, 1:48 am 21 A quarrel between the Prime Minister’s Office and the BBC over the broadcaster’s disinclination to list Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is rumbling on, with the PMO’s spokesman sending a second letter demanding the BBC change its Olympics website to explicitly refer to the city as the country’s capital. PMO spokesman Mark Regev (photo credit: Nati Shohat/Flash90) “I am afraid that despite your efforts, Israel is still discriminated against on the BBC’s London 2012 Olympics website,” PMO spokesman Mark Regev on Thursday wrote to the station’s Middle East Bureau chief, Paul Danahar. “Unlike all the other countries listed, in Israel’s case, our capital Jerusalem is not classified by the BBC as such but rather as a ‘Seat of government.’ I kindly request that Israel’s capital be identified accurately on your website.” At first, Israel’s entry on the BBC’s special website dedicated to the Olympics didn’t mention Jerusalem — or any other city — at all. The entry for Palestine, however, listed “East Jerusalem” as capital. On Wednesday, Regev wrote a first letter to Danahar, expressing his dismay over the fact that “every country (and non-country) participating” at the Games has a capital except Israel. The same day, the PMO also created a Facebook page called “Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel.” (“Following the BBC’s decision to omit Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel from its Olympic Games website, this is your place to support Jerusalem – the one and only Capital of Israel,” it states. As of overnight Saturday, the page had garnered about 9,300 “Likes,” with the numbers rapidly going up.) The day after the first PMO letter was sent, the BBC changed its entries for both Israel and Palestine: Israel still has no capital, but the site lists Jerusalem as the seat of government — “though most foreign embassies are in Tel Aviv.” The site’s entry for Palestine reads now: “Intended seat of government: East Jerusalem. Ramallah serves as administrative capital.” That change did not satisfy the PMO; hence Regev’s second letter with its objection that “Israel is still discriminated against.” However, since Israel’s entry on the BBC’s Olympics site now corresponds to the country’s entry on the regular homepage of BBC News, it may be unlikely that the BBC will again alter its entry on the site for the Olympics. The BBC is hardly alone in refusing to call Jerusalem Israel’s capital. Even the US State Department insists that the administration’s policy “with regard to Jerusalem is that its status has to be solved through negotiations.” The London-based Guardian newspaper persistently calls Tel Aviv Israel’s capital. Earlier this year, the paper ran a correction after having “wrongly referred to [Jerusalem] as the Israeli capital.” http://www.timesofisrael.com/prime-ministers-office-to-bbc-we-insist-you-call-jerusalem-israels-capital/

They won't provide one minute to honor the murdered Israeli athletes, but bend over backwards, changing their rules to accommodate muslims. Sickening. At every turn, the free world succumbs to islamic demands at the expense of our own freedoms. The olympics has become a farce, and is yet one more western institution allowed to be hijacked by islam. Meanwhile ironically, the London area is in a state of seige, with the largest display of military force since WWII in the run up to the olympics. This is because of islamic terrorist threats. The constant appeasement has only increased the danger. Forty years after Munich, islam is a more potent force than ever and the west more spineless than ever. The Wages of Willful Blindness: Is It Time for Defenders of Liberty to Abandon the GOP? July 23, 2012 - 5:04 am - by Andrew C. McCarthy Page 1 of 4 Next -> View as Single Page The embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood by President Obama, aided and abetted by the Republican establishment, is not new. It is the culmination of a gradual surrender whose silhouette was already evident nearly twenty years ago. I wrote about it in Willful Blindness, a memoir about the start of our nation’s confrontation with Islamic supremacism as a domestic threat — back in the early Nineties, when I led the prosecution of the Blind Sheikh’s New York jihadist cell, which carried out the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Is our wayward course one that can be corrected? The ongoing controversy over Islamist influence on our government will probably answer that question. Spotlighted are concerns raised by five conservative members of the House of Representatives about (i) Brotherhood-friendly government policymaking and (ii) government officials, such as the State Department’s Huma Abedin, who have longstanding Islamist ties. The crossroads at which we’ve arrived, however, involve a lot more than any single government official or policy. Let me be stark: Our liberty and security are threatened, and the questions not only of whether GOP leaders comprehend the stakes, but also of whether the Republican Party remains a worthy home for defenders of liberty, have become very real. A little history, to measure how far we’ve veered. When we tried Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and his cohorts in 1995, the overarching charge was that all 12 defendants, plus dozens of unindicted coconspirators, conspired to wage a war of urban terrorism against the United States. Beyond the Trade Center attack, this campaign included a more ambitious plot to bomb New York City landmarks (e.g., Lincoln and Holland Tunnels, UN complex, FBI’s lower Manhattan headquarters, some U.S. military installations, etc.), as well as sundry schemes to kidnap or assassinate current and former government officials, murder the president of Egypt, and the like. Advertisement Here is the crucial part that you need to understand: The Blind Sheikh and his subordinates were not merely “violent extremists,” seized by some sort of psychological problem. They were Islamic supremacists. Yes, their methods were barbaric; but that does not mean they were insane or irrational. Indeed, had that been the case, they would have been not guilty by reason of mental incapacity. To the contrary, we proved that their actions were rationally motivated by Islamic supremacist ideology, an easily knowable interpretation of Islam, drawn directly from Muslim scripture, that commands its adherents to coerce societies into adopting sharia. Sharia is Islam’s totalitarian framework for how societies are to be ruled. It is not just a set of spiritual guidelines; it is a comprehensive social and legal system, said to be Allah’s gift and directive to mankind. It governs all human activity — not just prayer and worship, but financial, social, familial, political, military, and even hygienic activity.continue reading

The UN was mum on the jihad bombing in Bulgaria as it is about every other islamic terrorist attack against Jews. To sum up the UN’s position: Jewish housing construction is a grave violation of human rights, muslims blowing up Jews is not. It is time that American taxpayers stop being forced to subsidize this den of snakes. Via Israpundit:
Cut U.S. Funding To The UN by Michael Freund, The Jewish Press In recent weeks the United Nations has gone on the warpath against Israel, defaming the Jewish state and providing aid and comfort to its enemies. Indeed, in a series of moves, the world body has sent the Jewish state a clear and unmistakable message that its decades-old hostility remains as potent as ever. First, there was the decision last month by UNESCO – the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – to establish a chair at the Islamic University of Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas and has become a hotbed of Muslim extremism and terror. This is the very same university whose laboratories have been used by Hamas to produce explosives and rockets that were later deployed against Israel. And in May, the University’s dean of Koranic studies called for the Islamic conquest of Spain and the Vatican. It is simply unconscionable that UNESCO, which is ostensibly dedicated to “building peace in the minds of men and women”, would choose to partner with a Hamas-run outfit that inculcates students with anti-Israel and anti-Western values. Not to be outdone, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) decided to get into the act last week by turning up the heat on Israel. At the close of its 20th session in Geneva, the august body appointed a three-member fact-finding team to be dispatched to the Middle East. But have no fear: the diplomatic trio in question will not be garnering frequent-flyer miles to investigate the Syrian government’s slaughter of its own civilians, nor will it be rushing through airport security to get a first-hand look at the fundamentalist takeover in Egypt. Instead, despite all the turmoil in the region, the UNHRC is determined to get to the bottom of what it considers to be a far more vexing problem: ongoing Jewish housing construction in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem. That’s right. A Jew enclosing a porch in Ariel, or extending a living room in Hebron, apparently poses a more significant threat to the rights of all humanity than rising Islamic fundamentalist extremism or the crushing of dissent. The move comes following a UNHRC resolution passed back in March which employed all the classic anti-Israel bias and one-sidedness that has become standard fare in the halls of the UN. Lest anyone had been toying with the naïve thought that the UNHRC might give Israel a fair hearing, the text of the resolution went out of its way to bash the Jewish state and its policies in the harshest of terms. In its preamble, the decision affirmed that “Israeli settlement activities in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in East Jerusalem, are illegal under international law and constitute very serious violations of international humanitarian law and of the human rights of the Palestinian people therein.” It also expressed “grave concern” about “the continuation by Israel, the occupying Power, of settlement building and expansion.” The UNHRC then defined the mandate of its investigative team, instructing it to explore “the implications of the Israeli settlements on the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of the Palestinian people.” What do you think the chances are that Israel will get a fair hearing? Not surprisingly, Israel was quick to reject the proposed UNHRC mission, with Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor saying, “The fact-finding mission will find no cooperation in Israel and its members will not be allowed to enter Israel and the territories.” “Its existence,” he added, “embodies the inherent distortion that typifies the UNHRC treatment of Israel and the hijacking of the important human rights agenda by non-democratic countries.” And then, to top it all off, came reports in the Israeli press that the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has been supporting and even building illegal structures for Palestinians in Judea and Samaria. OCHA has ignored repeated Israeli requests to cease such activities, to the point where the government is now said to be considering imposing sanctions on its employees. This is nothing less than a deliberate snub of Israel and its sovereignty and violates all norms of diplomatic decency. Clearly, as the above examples illustrate, the UN remains as antagonistic as ever toward the Jewish state, treating it in ways it would not dare to treat any other country. It’s time American Jews speak out loudly against this discriminatory stance, particularly since this is an election year in the U.S. After all, the United States contributes half a billion dollars each year toward the UN’s budget, which represents a quarter of the organization’s total. Through its impeccable record of mistreating Israel, America’s closest ally in the Middle East, the UN long ago made a mockery of the principles it claims to champion. There is no reason why the American taxpayer needs to continue funding this campaign of demonization. So in the months ahead, as your senators and congressmen seek to elicit your support, utilize the opportunity to drive home a simple message: in a time of austerity, cutting U.S. funding to the UN would not only be fiscally prudent but also morally and diplomatically warranted.

Rubio is backing McCain's attack against Michele Bachmann regarding her call for an investigation of Hillary's aid Huma Abedin and others connected with the muslim brotherhood who have infiltrated our government. I expected better from him. I no longer want Rubio as the VP pick. The GOP establishment are gutless cowards and just as problematic on the issue of islam as are the democrats. There is too much at stake for them to take politically correct positions when we need leaders with moral clarity and backbone. We expect the democrats to take these positions. We should be able to expect the GOP to counter them and do what's right for America. But they apparently have a greater fear of being called racists then they fear the threat of the muslim brotherhood to America. How can we even begin to confront and fight the stealth jihad and prevent from happening to America what is occuring in Europe if even the GOP cowers in the corner and hides under their desks at the mere mention of the issues of stealth jihad, sharia and the muslim brotherhood? Michele Bachmann is putting herself out there to defend America and instead of rallying around her, the GOP is throwing her under the bus. Romney should choose Lt. Col. Allen West, but I'm sure he will go with a safe choice.

Even though the craven, morally bankrupt cowards of the IOC won't allow a minute of silence for the murdered Israeli athletes, Bob Costos will have a minute of silence during NBC's broadcast of the opening ceremonies. The IOC's message is that murdered Jews are not worthy of honoring. They pretend the decision is based on wanting to avoid political issues, but caving to the block of islamic nations is a political decision. For decades the world has sanctioned islamic Jew-hatred and the jihad against Israel. And despite the scope and scale that the global jihad has taken since Munich, the world still caters to theses savages and allows them to wield power.
"A Newsman's Olympic Stand" David Feith Wall Sreet Journal, July 21, 2012 The NBC veteran has revealed that his broadcast of the July 27 opening ceremony will include a minute of silence for the 11 Israeli Olympians murdered by Palestinian terrorists at the Munich Games 40 years ago—a minute of silence that the International Olympic Committee has refused to arrange on its own. Mr. Costas explained to Hollywood Reporter magazine: "I intend to note that the IOC denied the request. Many people find that denial more than puzzling but insensitive." So he'll tell viewers "here's a minute of silence right now." Judging from the 2008 ceremony, 35 million Americans could be watching. Mr. Costas is hardly alone in finding the Munich killings worthy of commemoration. Others who have spoken up include President Barack Obama ("absolutely," the White House said Thursday), all U.S. senators, every Australian and Canadian parliamentarian, Germany's foreign minister and some 100,000 online petitioners. But none has shaken the IOC from its decades-long refusal—and none has Mr. Costas's opportunity to impose an unofficial but almost uniquely high-profile minute of silence. The IOC, for its part, contends that it is simply upholding Olympic tradition. "The [slain athletes'] families were repeatedly told by long-time IOC President Juan Samaranch that the Olympic movement avoided political issues," historian Deborah Lipstadt wrote in Tablet magazine this week. "He seemed to have forgotten that at the 1996 opening ceremony he spoke about the Bosnian war. Politics were also present at the 2002 games, which opened with a minute of silence for the victims of 9/11." And 9/11, though certainly worthy of commemoration, didn't involve the murder of Olympic athletes in their Olympic Village hotel rooms. To be sure, the IOC is upholding tradition in treating the Munich massacre as a mild nuisance best forgotten. This tradition dates back to the day of the attack, when officials agreed to suspend competition only after an international outcry, nearly 12 hours after the Israelis were first killed or taken hostage. "The Games must go on," IOC President Avery Brundage said the next day, and countries' flags weren't to be flown at half-mast because 10 Arab nations had objected. Ever since, the case against a minute of silence has rested largely on fears of an Arab boycott. (As it happens, the IOC includes an Israeli who argues against a moment of silence on just those grounds.) The Munich attack was an unprecedented media event—likely more so than its perpetrators could have even dreamed, as it unfolded over almost 24 hours of live television. It ended with now-famous words from Jim McKay of ABC News: "Our worst fears have been realized tonight. They've now said that there were 11 hostages—two were killed in their rooms yesterday morning, nine were killed at the airport tonight. They're all gone." Before his 2008 death, McKay spoke often about Munich, sometimes alongside relatives of the slain athletes. ("That day was the end of innocence in sports," he wrote in 2002.) Now Bob Costas takes up McKay's admirable tradition—before tens of millions of TV viewers. Mr. Feith is an assistant editorial features editor at the Journal.

Not at all surprisingly, once again UN bodies sanction jihad against Jews by remaining silent on the Bulgarian massacre and Ban Ki Moon refuses to even call it terrorism. UN Watch:
Reactions to Today's Terror Attack on Israeli Tourists in Bulgaria A bus carrying Israeli tourists at Bulgaria's Burgas airport suddenly exploded today, killing seven and wounding at least 30 more. • A U.N. spokesperson said that Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon condemned the attack "in the strongest possible terms." In fact, however, the U.N. chief's choice of terms was weak in comparison to his statement two weeks ago on the bombing of churches in Kenya. In that case, Mr. Ban rightly spoke of "terrorist" attacks, "reprehensible and criminal," saying the perpetrators "must be held to account." Yet today he referred only to the deadly "bombing" of Israelis -- noticeably declining to describe it as an act of terrorism -- and he made no call for holding the perpetrators to account. UN Watch today urged Mr. Ban to clarify his position and to truly use the strongest possible terms to condemn today's terrorist attack. • U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay has remained silent on today's attack. By contrast, hours after the Gaza Flotilla incident of 2010, Ms. Pillay expresed her "shock" and condemned Israel. The top story on her office website instead criticizes Western states for how they combat terrorism, with America accused of having "dangerous" laws that violate due process. Supported by a Facebook campaign now going viral, UN Watch called on the High Commissioner to speak out for victims of terrorism, condemn today's gruesome murders in Bulgaria, and instruct her staff to investigate the perpetrators and hold them fully accountable for the crimes. • The U.N.'s 47-nation Human Rights Council has also stayed silent. By contrast, in 2004 it wasted no time in convening an emergency session to eulogize Hamas terrorist leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, and to condemn Israel. Currently, the council is busy with yet another "fact-finding mission" into alleged Israeli human rights violations. The council has never mandated an inquiry into terrorism or rocket attacks targeting Israelis. ___________

Anyone who doesn’t see a problem with the fact that the aid to the Secretary of State has direct family ties to the muslim brotherhood, a sworn enemy of America, is himself not fit to serve in the United States Senate. John McCain is another politically correct tool and useful idiot serving in our government.
Huma Abedin and the Muslim Brotherhood: Bachmann vs. McCain by Robert Spencer, FPM Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is at the center of a firestorm over her request that the State, Homeland Security, Defense and Justice Departments, investigate potential “policies and activities that appear to be the result of influence operations conducted by individuals and organizations associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.” This is an entirely legitimate call, as Bachmann abundantly illustrated in a 16-page letter to Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN), laying out the reasons for her concerns. Yet even Senator John McCain (R-AZ), who should know better, has upbraided Bachmann, criticizing her for including Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, among those she noted for having Brotherhood ties. McCain declared in a statement on the Senate floor that “recently, it has been alleged that Huma, a Muslim American, is part of a nefarious conspiracy to harm the United States by unduly influencing U.S. foreign policy at the Department of State in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist causes.” McCain, brimming with righteous indignation, thundered: “These sinister accusations rest solely on a few unspecified and unsubstantiated associations of members of Huma’s family, none of which have been shown to harm or threaten the United States in any way. These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis, and no merit. And they need to stop now.” He explained that the letter Bachmann and several other Representatives sent asking for an investigation into Muslim Brotherhood influence in the government “alleges that three members of Huma’s family are ‘connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations.’ Never mind that one of those individuals, Huma’s father, passed away two decades ago.” However, in her letter to Ellison, Bachmann explained that much more was behind her concern about Abedin than guilt-by-association based on family members: “The concerns about the foreign influence of immediate family members is such a concern to the U.S. Government that it includes these factors as potentially disqualifying conditions for obtaining a security clearance, which undoubtedly Ms. Abedin has had to obtain to function in her position. For us to raise issues about a highly-based U.S. Government official with known immediate family connections to foreign extremist organizations is not a question of singling out Ms. Abedin. In fact, these questions are raised by the U.S. Government of anyone seeking a security clearance.” And in Abedin’s case, there are ample reasons for raising these questions. Her father, Syed Z. Abedin, was a professor in Saudi Arabia who founded the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs, an organization supported by the Muslim World League, a Brotherhood organization. Her mother, Saleha Mahmoud Abedin, is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, the Brotherhood’s adjunct organization for women. The Brotherhood itself is in its own words, according to a captured internal document, dedicated to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house.” All that leaves McCain unmoved, for he goes on to assert that “the letter and the report offer not one instance of an action, a decision, or a public position that Huma has taken while at the State Department that would lend credence to the charge that she is promoting anti-American activities within our government. Nor does either document offer any evidence of a direct impact that Huma may have had on one of the U.S. policies with which the authors of the letter and the producers of the report find fault.” However, it is odd that McCain would expect Bachmann to produce the outcome of an investigation before any investigation has even taken place. As Bachmann noted, “these questions are raised by the U.S. Government of anyone seeking a security clearance.” So why should Huma Abedin be exempt? Would an official who had family connections with the Ku Klux Klan or the Aryan Nations be similarly exempt from scrutiny? If not, why should someone with familial connections to a group dedicated to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within”? As Bachmann pointed out in her letter to Ellison, the Muslim Brotherhood ties of Abedin’s mother, father and brother have never been a secret, and have long been noted in the international press. Abedin herself has never publicly distanced herself from the Brotherhood, or explained how her worldview or her vision of Islam differ from that of her parents or brother. So by what moral calculus can it possibly be “sinister,” as McCain put it, to ask that Abedin be subjected to the same scrutiny that would be focused upon anyone seeking a security clearance that would allow access to sensitive material comparable to that which she enjoys? What’s more, the Obama administration’s support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is so obvious that Egyptian demonstrators just days ago pelted Hillary Clinton’s motorcade with tomatoes and shoes for delivering that country up to the rule of the Brotherhood and the imposition of Islamic law that is almost certain to come. Protestors held signs reading “Message to Hillary: Egypt will never be Pakistan”; “To Hillary: Hamas will never rule Egypt” and “If you like the Ikhwan [Brotherhood], take them with you!” Did Huma Abedin have any influence over the Obama administration’s warm support for the Brotherhood? No one knows. Michele Bachmann doesn’t know, and doesn’t claim otherwise. John McCain, for that matter, doesn’t know that Abedin didn’t have this kind of influence. That is precisely why an investigation should be made. In Abedin’s defense, McCain recounted: “Some years ago, I had the pleasure, along with my friend, the Senator from South Carolina, Senator Lindsey Graham, of traveling overseas with our colleague, then-Senator Hillary Clinton. By her side, as always, was Huma, and I had the pleasure of seeing firsthand her hard work and dedicated service on behalf of the former Senator from New York – a service that continues to this day at the Department of State, and bears with it significant personal sacrifice for Huma.” In this McCain demonstrates a naivete that is astonishing if he really means what he says. That Abedin works hard and has served Clinton with dedication is not at issue. But the lingering question is: To what end? It may be that she is just as patriotic and loyal to American principles and American freedoms as McCain implies. It may also be that her familial loyalties have led her to take a positive stance toward the Muslim Brotherhood that is ultimately inimical to the interests of the United States. There simply isn’t enough to go on to answer that question either way at this point. That’s why there should be an investigation, and why John McCain is wrong, and Michele Bachmann is right.

Islam's genocidal war against the Jews comes to Bulgaria. And FOX news broad, Megan Kelly, while interviewing John Bolton said "Will this tit for tat between Israel and Iran lead to war"? Not only is she equating Iranian terror with Israeli self-defense against terror, but she is more concerned about Israeli retaliation than about the innocent Israelis murdered in Bugaria or anywhere else. Atlas:
Benjamin Netanyahu on bus bombing: 'All signs point to Iran, Israel will retaliate' The Muslim war on the Jews went to the next level today when a homicide bomber targeted a bus of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria and slaughtered seven Jewish people. More here. Bulgaria is a popular family vacation destination for Israelis. Terror bombing today targeted women and children intentionally. (GIYUS.org) Benjamin Netanyahu said of the bombing: "All signs point to Iran, Israel will retaliate." I hope they do, with disproportionate force. And for heaven's sake, take out their nukes while you are there. This 1,400-year Islamic war on the Jews (and all non-Muslims) must be defeated, roundly and soundly. "This is an Iranian terror campaign that is spreading throughout the world," Netanyahu said. "Israel will react powerfully against Iranian terror," "Eighteen years exactly after the blast at the Jewish community center in Argentina, murderous Iranian terror continues to hit innocent people. Spare me the phony concern for Israel’s well being. Proud Jews exerting their rights embarrasses them in front of their “progressive” circle of acquaintances. I’m so sick of liberal yenta diaspora Jews telling Israel what to do. They aren’t the ones who suffer the consequences of the policies they promote. I can’t stand them. I have had it with self-appointed Jewicidal “leaders” pretending to represent the American Jewish community, let alone Israelis. These arrogant SOB’s think they are better suited to know what’s good for Israel than Israelis do. Actually this is being too generous because it isn’t Israel they are concerned about, but rather their own standing within progressive circles. This is why I prefer an alliance with Evangelical Christians. And this should be the case with the Israelis who should shun these left-wing millionaire and billionaire Jews, and forge a strong relationship with Evangelicals. Israpundit:
40 U.S. Jewish Leaders to Bibi: Bury Levy Report How can they possibly write “this report, if approved, will place .. the prestige of Israel as a democratic member of the international community, in peril.” Upholding the rule of law is what democracy is all about. Why do they not rejoice, as we on the right do, over this significant boost to Israel’s rights. Instead they want to suppress our rights. Ted Belman By Gil Ronen, INN More than 40 prominent American Jewish leaders and philanthropists sent a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Sunday in which they implored him not to approve the judicial report that says Jews may settle freely in Judea and Samaria. “As strong advocates for Israel’s security and well-being as a Jewish and democratic state, we are deeply concerned about the recent findings of government commission led by Supreme Court Justice (Ret.) Edmond Levy,” the letter said. “We fear that this report, if approved, will place the two-state solution, and the prestige of Israel as a democratic member of the international community, in peril.” The letter’s signatories letter include philanthropists Charles Bronfman and Lester Crown; Marvin Lender, Former National Chairman of UJA; Rabbi Daniel Gordis, President of the Shalem Center; Deborah Lipstadt, an expert on Holocaust studies at Emory University; Bernard Nussbaum, former White House Counsel; Thomas Dine, a former executive director of AIPAC; E. Robert Goodkind, a former president of the American Jewish Committee; Richard Pearlstone, former chairman of the Jewish Agency; and Rabbi David Saperstein, director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. The Levy Committee’s report determines that Israel cannot be characterized as “an occupier” of Judea and Samaria because the territory never legally belonged to Jordan before Israel regained it in 1967. The letter was initiated by the Israel Policy Forum (IPF), which was attacked in 2007 by veteran Jewish leader and columnist Isi Liebler as a group that “delegitimizes” Israeli policies. IPF president Seymour Reich and chairman Marvin Lender replied to Liebler’s accusations by writing: “If we were ‘Jews against Zion’ (Leibler’s repugnant description), would Rabin, Sharon, Peres, Netanyahu, Barak, Olmert, Livni, Ramon (to name just a few Israeli leaders, current and past) speak at IPF events or meet with IPF leaders? We think not.”

Obama is frantically working to prevent...an Israeli preemptive attack on Iran. INN:
Obama Advisor Visited Israel 'to Stop Iran Attack' National Security Advisor Tom Donilon visited Israel over the weekend. White House worried Iran attack imminent. AAFont Size By Gil Ronen First Publish: 7/15/2012, 10:07 PM Tom Donilon White House President Barack Obama's National Security Advisor Tom Donilon visited Israel secretly over the weekend in what one Israeli newspaper says was an attempt to convince Israel not to attack Iran's nuclear facilities. He met with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and National Security Advisor Gen. Yaakov Amidror. "National Security Advisor Tom Donilon visited Israel from July 14-15 for consultations with Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Barak, and National Security Advisor Gen. Amidror," the White House said in an official statement Sunday. "In these meetings, the National Security Advisor reaffirmed the United States' unwavering commitment to Israel's security. His visit was the latest in a series of ongoing U.S. consultations with Israeli officials on a range of regional security issues." Maariv-NRG says Donilon's visit reflects heightened U.S. concern that Israel intends to attack Iran sometime during the summer or early autumn. That concern has been heightened by the recent failure of talks between western powers and Iran. The news site estimated that the visit was intended to convince Israel not to launch an attack anytime soon. Israel has said repeatedly that Iran's nuclear weapons program is in a critical stage and that further delay of an attack upon it would enable Iran to move the program underground. Following that, stopping the program will become next to impossible without a full scale war of annihilation. Israel would prefer the U.S. to lead an attack on Iran instead of facing it alone. An Israeli attack could have unforseen consequences on the volatile Middle East, and a U.S.-led strike is seen as something Arab regimes will accept slightly more easily. In any case, repercussions against Israel are expected. Defense Minister Barak has estimated that up to 500 Israelis could be killed in an attack by Iran and its proxies on Israel.

The Olympic committe has honored dead olympians before, but refuses to honor the murdered Israeli athletes because it will offend Jew-hating muslim nations, who will walk out of the ceremonies. So what, who needs them? The IOC claims that a minute of silence for the Israeli athletes will amount to politicizing the games. But to not honor the Israeli athletes is a political decision to stand with the powerful block of genocidal Jew-hating nations. The international community has consistently sent the message that the massacre of Jews doesn't count as terrorism and Jewish victims of terrorism are not worthy of honoring. The supposed spirit of the olympics is a total fraud and is just another international institution that has been allowed to be hijacked by islamic supremacists. I will not be watching. The Times of Israel:
Just One Minute—The Aftermath July 15, 2012, 12:23 am7 Varda Epstein is a freelance writer and pro-Israel activist… [More] Varda's website Ankie Spitzer has been trying to get the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to listen to her for years. All she asks is that one minute of silence be observed at Olympic Games in memory of her husband Andrei and the other 10 members of the Israeli Olympic team murdered at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. The 11 Israelis were murdered by the Fatah front terror group Black September. There’s some precedent for Olympic memorials: Nodar Kumaritashvili, who died during a practice run, was remembered at the Games. The World Trade Center disaster was remembered during the 2002 games. But the Munich Massacre is an event the IOC would like to forget. Several Occasions? IOC President Jacques Rogge announced in May that “The IOC has officially paid tribute to the memory of the athletes on several occasions,” and would not be doing so at the London Olympic Games. The reference to “several occasions” appears to refer to a farcical memorial held the day after the massacre. The flags of the competing Olympic nations were lowered to half-mast. The sight of the lowered flags so incensed the competing Arab nations that they insisted the flags be raised at the conclusion of the brief memorial. Their wish was honored. In the memorial speech given by then IOC president Avery Brundage in Munich, there was hardly a mention of the slain. Rather, Brundage praised the resilient nature of the Olympic competitors and likened the magnitude of the massacre to murmurs against increased professional participation in the Olympics and the decision to ban Rhodesia, as a white-supremacist country, from participation in the Munich Games, a decision Brundage had voted against.continue reading
Just when you think Europe couldn't become more insane, they are recruiting muslims into the ranks of their armed forces. And what does it say about native Europeans that they cannot get enough of them to volunteer to serve their nations? Maybe they don't think their countries are worth fighting for. I can't blame them. Every time you think the Obama administration’s and the west’s dissmissive and contemptous treatment of Israel cannot get any more outrageous, they outdo themselves. We are being led by moral degenerates. The world’s number one target for terrorism is excluded from a counterterror conference and left off a list of nations which are victims of terrorism. Meanwhile islamic countries, which are the greatest facilitators of international terrorism are welcomed at the conference on fighting terrorism. This coupled with the Olympic Committees refusal to honor the 11 Israeli athletes murdered by “palestinian” terrorists in the 1972 olympics in Munich sends the message that the west accepts the islamic belief that slaughtering Jews does not count as terrorism. We live in a world where the inmates are running the asylum. Israpundit:
Israel is on its own in war against terrorism By Diana West, JWR The Washington Free Beacon reported this week on the continuing omission of Israel from a U.S.-sponsored organization called the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF). At a recent forum meeting in Spain, Maria Otero, U.S. undersecretary of state for civilian security, democracy and human rights, delivered a speech titled “Victims of Terrorism,” but, in her roll call of victims, she didn’t mention Israel. The conference at which she spoke was described as a “high-level conference on the victims of terrorism,” but Israel wasn’t a participant. It bears repeating because it is so fantastic: At an international conference devoted to victims of terrorism, the world’s leading victim or, better, leading target of terrorism — Israel — was nowhere in sight, or mind. Welcome to the GCTF — U.S. counterterrorism’s new “normal.” This 30-member organization got its official start last September as a “major initiative” of the Obama administration when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced its launch in New York. It was quite an occasion; Hillary curled her hair. Seated next to her Turkish co-chairman, ensconced amid ministers from Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and 18 other miscellaneous member-states plus the European Union, she then said the magic words: “From London to Lahore, from Madrid to Mumbai, from Kabul to Kampala, it’s innocent civilians who have been targeted …” Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon? Poof, gone. And that’s the point: This new counterterrorism organization, with its related counterterrorism center coming soon to Abu Dhabi, is Judenfrei. Not coincidentally, it is also heavily Islamic. Eleven member-states — slightly more than one-third of the organization’s membership — also belong to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a bloc of 56 Islamic countries working to impose Islamic law (Shariah) on the world. Six of those 11 members additionally belong to the Arab League. Both groups have defined “terrorism” to exclude Israeli victims (sometimes U.S. soldiers), and “terrorists” to exclude groups dedicated to the destruction of Israel, such as Hamas and Hezbollah. It is no wonder the Arab-Islamic members would now unite in “counterterrorism” without Israel. What is both shocking and shameful, however, is that the U.S. would, too. It shows that the U.S. has implicitly but clearly accepted the Arab League/OIC definitions of terrorism and terrorists. As in Libya, where the U.S. supported the jihad-linked side, as in Egypt (same), as in Syria (same), this side-switching sparks scant comment. Oh, sure, there was some media yapping last month when Hillary jetted to Istanbul to pronounce another Israel-free incantation about efforts to “defeat extremist ideology.” Two — count ‘em, two — U.S. senators (independent Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and Republican Mark Kirk of Illinois) wrote her letters. But such complaints are nothing next to the smiles and cooperation coming our way from the Islamic core of the GCTF. And it was so easy! Why didn’t we think of this before? All we have to do is see things the way the Islamic world does; pretend things like Israel don’t exist (just as maps in Arab countries already indicate); and insist that Islam is a boon to mankind — not the animating doctrine of global jihad against Israel and the wider West. I would like to say this is all something President Barack Obama initated, but such appeasement goes back a long way. If we look to the Gulf War in 1990-1991, we see this same denial of Israel’s existence take shape in the makeup of President George H.W. Bush’s “international coalition” — sans Israel. The same is true in 2003 with the formation of President George W. Bush’s “coalition of the willing” in Iraq (also Afghanistan) — sans Israel. These omissions were in no way due to Israel’s unwillingness to join the “war on terror.” They were due to the same Islamic pressure in force today. Both Bushes bowed to it, accepting a state of dhimmitude (inferiority of non-Muslims under Islam) for the high privilege of spilling American blood and treasure into the ungrateful desert. Israel, both Bushes agreed with their Islamic “allies,” just wasn’t fit to fight on Islamic sand. Thus, Israel was excluded from these wartime alliances. Such dhimmitude only intensifies, as the latest developments show. Under the Bushes, after all, while Israel was not permitted to fight alongside coalition forces, at least it was still recognized for withstanding more than 60 years of Islamic terrorist attacks. Today, under the auspices of the Obama administration, Israel no longer rates mention even as a victim. “Big Satan” has thrown “Little Satan” to the sharks. Which says two things about Big Satan. Our institutions now see the world from the Islamic perspective, and, as far as the sharks go, we’re next.

Why doesn’t exessive pressure from muslim groups ever backfire on them? More likely the reason they voted as they did was because the muslim lobby is far more powerful, intimidating and frightening than the Jewish lobby could ever be. They voted this way not for the reason they claim, that the Jews were too pushy, but because they have nothing to fear from Jews. Or simply plain old antisemitism. A couple of years back the Archbishop of Canterbury said that England would have to accept sharia law. So a church that won’t even defend itself and their own country cannot be expected to stand with Israel. Is it any wonder that church attendance in England is so low. The Church of England is led by morally bankrupt clergy who stand for nothing. Christians are being persecuted and murdered in muslim countries. So why are churches in the west coming out with resolutions to boycott Israel instead of these muslim nations? It is appalling that church leaders cannot distinguish between good and evil. At every level of leadership in the western world, from government to media, to academia to clergy, we are being led by those who belong in mental institutions, so twisted is their worldview, so morally degenerate are their values. Israpundit:
Jews are too pushy Jewish lobbying with Church of England ‘backfires’Bishop says excess pressure from lobbyists prompted church to vote in support of anti-Israel group By MIRIAM SHAVIV, Times of Israel The British Jewish community’s efforts to stop the Church of England from officially bolstering its ties with a group accused of being anti-Israel may have backfired, says the Bishop of Manchester. “A few people said that all the lobbying from the Jewish side led us to vote the other way,” said the Rt. Revd. Nigel McCulloch, who is chair of the Council of Christians and Jews (CCJ), the UK’s oldest Jewish-Christian interfaith group. “There was over-lobbying by some members of the Jewish community. The CCJ actually warned against this, as we know how the Synod works and it’s not a good way to get things done.” The General Synod, which is the church’s highest legislative body, voted Monday night to support “the vital work” of the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI). The scheme brings international church members to the West Bank to “experience life under occupation” for three to four months, and expects them to campaign on their return for “a just and peaceful resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict through an end to the occupation, respect for international law and implementation of UN resolutions.” The group members spend limited time — up to one week — inside the Green Line. The British Board of Deputies, Anglo Jewry’s main representative organization, has accused the group of creating “a cohort of very partisan but very motivated anti-Israel advocates who have almost no grasp of the suffering of normal Israelis.” It encouraged members of the Jewish community to express their concern before the vote in a letter campaign to senior members of the Church and to the Church Times, the most influential Church of England newspaper, while other Jewish groups, as well as Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks and the Anglican Friends of Israel, all called for the motion to be rejected.continue reading
There should not be a situation where Jews have to get the permission of the king of Jordan to visit their holiest site in the sovereign Jewish state. This is insanity. It is insanity that Jewish leadership squandered the great victory of the six day war by allowing its just defeated sworn enemy control over the Temple Mount. What is wrong with the Jewish people that we consistently make good will gestures to those who want us wiped out? Why are we so insecure in asserting our rights to maintain what belongs to us? The world’s opinion on the matter of Israel’s presence in Judea and Samaria and Jewish settlements does not make for a legal case against Israel. Especially considering so many nations dependence on Arab oil, fear of islamic terrorism and the world’s historical animosity towards the Jewish people, international opinion on this matter cannot be viewed as legitimate in any way. All of Israel belongs to the Jews. Let the NY slimes seethe. Israpundit:
NY Times goes apoplectic over legal validation of Jewish settlements By Leo Rennert, AMERICAN THINKER Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently appointed an advisory commission of jurists to explore the legality of Jewish settlements in the West Bank. The panel, headed by former Supreme Court justice Edmund Levy, concluded that the West Bank — biblical Judea and Samaria — cannot be construed as “occupied” territory under international conventions, because the world never recognized Jordan’s illegal occupation before 1967, when Israel captured the area in the Six-Day War. Ergo, there are no legal impediments to Jewish settlements, given also a long history of Jewish ties to this land. Consequently, “according to international law, Israelis have the legal right to settle in Judea and Samaria,” the jurists concluded. However, they also urged the government to establish clearer guidelines and demarcations for authorized settlements. Basically, there is little news in any of this. Dispassionate journalistic observers – and their ranks sadly are dwindling – long have labeled the West Bank as “disputed” — not “occupied” — territory. Israeli governments – in 2000 and 2008 – have offered to vacate 95 percent of it for creation of a Palestinian state. Yassir Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas rejected the offers, aiming to grab all of it, including all of East Jerusalem. In the meantime, Netanyahu is ready to put the entire issue of settlements on the agenda for resumption of peace talks, if only Abbas were willing to negotiate. But Abbas has no appetite for negotiations – or compromise. Given this context, how does the New York Times report the findings and conclusions of the advisory commission? In short, it goes apoplectic. The Times, having already decreed that Jews have no business in Judea and Samaria, slams the legal brief with a barrage of furious strokes. Here’s Jerusalem correspondent Isabel Kershner’s lead in the July 10 edition: “Flouting international opinion, an Israeli government-appointed commission of jurists said Monday that Israel’s presence in the West Bank was not occupation and recommended that the state grant approval for scores of unauthorized Jewish outposts there.” (“Validate Settlements, Israeli Panel Suggests) page A4). Taking her cue from some amorphous sort of “international opinion” is just for starters. In the second paragraph, Kershner sternly warns that “such a move would inevitably stir international outrage and deal a significant blow to prospects for an Israeli-Palestinian peace settlement.” Funny, but the Times never seems to view Abbas’s refusal to negotiate or his glorification of terrorist killers as a “blow to prospects for an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.” Still, Kershner isn’t done. In case you haven’t gotten her drift, she substitutes her legal prowess to that of the jurists on the advisory panel: “Most of the world views the areas that Israel conquered from Jordan in the 1967 war, and where the Palestinians want to establish a future state, as occupied territory, and all Israeli construction there as a violation of international law,” she writes. For good measure, Kershner also relies on the views of a couple of leftist, self-proclaimed human rights groups that — surprise, surprise — agree with her. After her lengthy trashing of the panel’s conclusions — the article jumps from page A4 to page A7 — Kershner ends thusly: “In another development, gunmen from Gaza opened fire on Monday evening into southern Israel, hitting a civilian car that was empty at the time, according to the Israeli military. The military published photographs of the car, which contained a baby seat, punctured by bullets. There were no injuries.” A single, lonely paragraph at the very end of her piece about another terrorist attack that somehow does not qualify as a blow to the peace process or to flouting international law and opinion, as far as Kershner and the New York Times are concerned. A dispute about land, and the Times goes bananas. Not so, however, when Israeli civilians come under terrorist attacks. A telling contrast about the paper’s journalistic and moral priorities. Israel does not need to make its case in the court of world opinion. Israel does not need validation for its existence and the Jewish people’s rights to their land from the international community. No other country in the world, no matter how monstrous the regime, is required to seek validation from the international community for its right to exist. The Jewish people in Israel and the diaspora must stop the insanity of trying to make the case that the Jewish state has the right to exist. By doing so, they legitimize the notion that this should even be open to debate. Israpundit:
Deception: Betraying the Peace Process Deception: Betraying the Peace Process by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik Published by Palestinian Media Watch, 2012. 269 pp. $20 Reviewed by Asaf Romirowsky Jewish Political Studies Review There are two layers of media bias when it comes to Israel. The first emanates from the West that focuses on Israel’s “so called” genocidal policies which, because they are not blatantly anti-Semitic are perceived as “legitimate criticism.” The second originates in the Arab-Muslim world. Its accusations are blatantly anti-Semitic and have successfully revived medieval “facts” from the blood libel to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. But, at the end of the day, both contain and essential layer of anti-Semitism. Western media bias toward Israel has become one of the main soft power weapons for those who wish to demonize Israel in the public eye and generate negative views of Israel in order to pressure Israel to succumb to Palestinian demands. It is also a pervasive tactic employed by groups like the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) and the accepted tactic of Palestinian political warfare against Israel, in addition terror and the “armed struggle.” It is founded on the spurious equation of Zionism with apartheid, which was endorsed by the 2001 World Conference on Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in Durban, South Africa. The accusation not only states falsely that Israel is a racist state engaged in war crimes and ethnic cleansing but also demands that international organizations and NGOs shun and isolate it as a step toward its eventual dissolution. The true nature of the BDS movement is effectively incitement to discrimination. That is anti-Semitism. Itamar Marcus, founder and director of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) and PMW analyst Nan Jacques Zilberdik, recently published a book entitled, Deception: Betraying the Peace Process that chronicles how Palestinian media has deceived Israel and the West, specifically as it relates to peace with Israel.continue reading

So, islamic terror plots in England and Europe are routinely being uncovered, muslim gangs are raping women and girls along with riots and murders and the implementation of sharia law. As a result, Europe rages at Israel. Is it any wonder why I have such a loathing for Europe. Surrender, appeasement and Jew-hatred is in their DNA. Israpundit:
Op-ed: Europe’s failure to run its own affairs doesn’t stop it from constantly interfering in Israel’s affairs By Eldad Beck, YNET BERLIN – Just when the vision, or delusion, of Europe’s unity is facing a grave reality test, it’s amazing to see how one issue manages to unite the failing, disintegrating European bureaucracy: The grudge toward Israel. Even the Euro crisis, which threatens to sink European unity into a new nationalist storm, cannot ease the inherent hostility of the European apparatus, located in Brussels, to the Jewish state. By now it looks like a sick obsession that blinds the patient’s eyes and prevents him from seeing his real problems. Almost not a day goes by without the office of “foreign minister” Catherine Ashton or the EU “embassy” in Israel issuing a condemnation of Israeli actions in the West Bank, Gaza Strip or inside Israel. With zealousness that can only attest to disproportional devotion, EU emissaries – mostly with the help of Israeli collaborators who enjoy generous funding – monitor anything that could be perceived to undermine the rights of Palestinians or Israel’s Arab citizens. For a long time now, the Europeans have not been protesting only matters pertaining to the occupation; rather, they are working methodically to undermine the very existence of Israel as an independent Jewish state. Large sums of money provided to fund activities in different areas have created dangerous dependence between Israel and the European Union. Had this investment been aimed at developing human resources for the benefit of the EU there would be nothing wrong with it. However, the Europeans are aiming to exploit and rule: Take advantage of what Israel can give them, while at the same time dictate how it should conduct itself. EU adopts Arab formula An absurd situation has been created whereby the European Union, which cannot manage its own affairs efficiently, is working with great determination to decide for Israel how it should behave. Meanwhile, the Europeans are pouring huge sums of money into the Palestinian Authority without a hint of criticism about Palestinian actions. Senior EU officials refrain from meeting with Israel’s foreign minister, yet preach for dialogue with Hamas. And in at a time where the Middle East is burning because of endless violations of human rights, condemnations are constantly being issued against Israel. It appears that the Europeans have been taken captive by the Arab magic formula, whereby the conflict with Israel is at the heart of the region’s problems and only its resolution – that is, making Israel capitulate to Arab demands – will bring peace and stability. And please don’t bother the Europeans with other explanations. It could undermine their stability. Israel has an interest in good relations with Europe. The European Commission President, Jose Manuel Barroso, will be awarded an honorary doctorate from University of Haifa Tuesday “in appreciation of his firm stance against anti-Semitism, his work to commemorate the Holocaust and his devotion to peace.” However, the Europeans must understand that such ties can only develop on the basis of dialogue between equals, while completely refraining from any attempt to undermine Israel’s sovereignty. If someone in Brussels is truly interested in fruitful, mutual relations with Israel, which has much to offer, they should start to change their approach.
Israel is a nation which has suffered more than any other from terrorism and who's expertise in fighting terrorism is second to none. Yet astoundingly Israel was left out of the international counterterrorism forum as well as being excluded from a list of nations victimized by terrorism. Obama kisses erdogan's and the muslim brotherhood's asses, while showing disrespect and outright contempt for Israel every chance he gets. Obama's actions toward Israel speak louder than the words of his lying Jewish liberal shills like Debbie Wasserman Shultz, Axelrod, Foxman etc. who proclaim his great friendship for the Jewish state. Even the leftist media is starting to take notice, as an AP reporter inquired about Israel being shunned. This president is bad news on every level.
"Israel’s Plight Ignored" Washington Free Beacon, July 10, 2012 Counterterrorism forum excludes Israel despite state’s record of suffering terrorist attacks Despite pleas from Senators on Capitol Hill, the Obama administration excluded Israel from a new counterterrorism forum and neglected to mention its long and deadly struggle with terrorism during remarks presented yesterday in Spain. Maria Otero, the State Department’s Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, delivered a speech entitled “Victims of Terrorism” before 29 members of the Global Counterterrorism Forum, an coalition of countries—not including Israel—that collectively combat terror. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sparked a controversy in June when she announced the coalition’s formation and neglected to include Israel on a list of countries that perpetually struggle with terror attacks. It is widely believed that Israel was overlooked as a member due to the opposition of Turkey, which has increasingly been at odds with the Jewish state. Congressional sources and regional experts say that the Obama administration is intentionally downplaying Israel’s struggle with terrorism in order to appease and gain the cooperation of Arab nations that are often hostile to the Jewish state. A congressional source told the Free Beacon Tuesday that the State Department confirmed to inquiring members of Congress that Israel was in fact excluded from the conference. “The State Department told us that only the 29 original member countries were involved—and that means no Israel,” said the source. During yesterday’s gathering, Israel was also excluded again from a list of nations recognized by the U.S. for their efforts to deal with terrorism. “Last September at the official launch of the Global Counterterrorism Forum, I had the privilege to introduce the premiere of a film ‘Hear their Voices’, which tells the stories of eleven survivors of terrorist attacks from Pakistan, Jordan, Northern Ireland, Uganda, Turkey, Indonesia, India, Spain, Columbia, and the United States,” Otero said before the gathering of nations. “The film, which was produced by the Global Survivors Network, is a powerful plea for audiences around the world, especially those sympathetic to the grievances expressed by extremists, to recognize the human cost of terrorism and I am delighted that our Spanish hosts are planning on showing this film here later this afternoon,” she added. Experts say the omission of Israel was intentional. “When the administration promised to include Israel in the counterterrorism forum that the United States founded—after Jerusalem’s inexplicable exclusion from the initial meeting a month ago—one would think they would be true to their word,” said Josh Block, a Democratic strategist and former spokesman for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. “Clearly someone failed here. How Israel could be excluded from another meeting of an anti-terror forum that we chair is beyond comprehension, especially one that focuses on victims of terrorism.” “At a time when Romney is challenging the administration’s record on U.S.-Israel relations, this error stands out,” he added. “What we’re seeing is a trend of Israel being left out of the global discussion on terrorism, while Israel was extremely helpful during the beginning stages of this conversation,” said Jonathan Schanzer, vice president for research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. “The [Obama] administration is downplaying the struggle that Israel has been enduring.” “I believe to a certain extent, this is due to regional politics, and it’s disconcerting to see this change,” said Schanzer, who pointed out that Israel is the leading authority on strategies to combat terrorism. “It just looks like a quiet effort to downplay the issue.” The State Department stonewalled reporters who inquired about the issue during yesterday’s daily briefing. “This is a conference about victims of terrorism. And I’m curious to know why [Otero] doesn’t mention Israel or Israelis in her comments talking about victims of terrorism,” asked AP reporter Matthew Lee. “Does the administration believe that Israel and Israelis specifically have been victims of terrorism? “I don’t have the details of the Under Secretary’s speech,” responded a State Department spokesperson, who later promised to seek further details on the matter.

What used to be the party of FDR, Truman, JFK, RFK, Scoop Jackson, Daniel Patrick Moynihan etc. has degenerated into this. How can any Jew or real American for that matter want to be identified as a member of the democrat party? Atlas:
Missouri Politician Claims No Jews Died on 9/11 Algemeiner MD Alam is running for Secretary of State in Missouri and heads the National Democratic Party Asian American Caucus, a group sponsored by the Democratic National Committee. Alam also believes no Jews died during the attacks of 9/11 and has made statements that infer Jews were involved in the attack itself. “Why [was] 9/11 was a official holiday for all Jewish people who worked in the the WTC?” Alam said in a discussion titled, “Was 9/11 a conspiracy??” Asked earlier this week about this statement, Alam reaffirmed his position. “My question was, ‘What’s the reason not a single Jew was killed on that day,’” Alam said, according to the Washington Free Beacon. “Was there a single Jew killed on that day?” Despite public remarks from the State Department that show hundreds of Jews died as a result of al-Qaeda’s attacks on U.S. soil in 2001, Alam continues to purport that no Jewish victims perished on 9/11. “When people make the Jewish claim with respect to the 9/11 attacks, that is such a red flag for an anti-Semite,” Debra Burlingame of the national security group Keep America Safe told The Beacon. “It’s a dirty little truth for the 9/11 Truthers.” In 2008, Alam worked as a satellite campaign manager for President Obama and the Democratic party in the Kansas City area.
Note to Barroso: Spain at one time fell under islamic conquest (Al Andalusia). Therefore muslims think it belongs to them for all time. If you think Israel should surrender territory to the muslim "palestinians", where does that leave Spain? They are coming for your land next. EU Observer:

This is what happens when you have rules of engagement which value the lives of the enemy over our own soldiers. If our soldiers are not being allowed to defend themselves, we should get the hell out of Afghanistan. We have a government in DC that won't even name the enemy, let alone defeat it.
Six Americans killed in Afghanistan roadside bombing: NATO Last Updated: 2:00 PM, July 9, 2012 Posted: 1:20 PM, July 9, 2012 KABUL, Afghanistan — All six troops killed in a weekend roadside bombing in eastern Afghanistan were Americans, NATO confirmed Monday. German Brig. Gen. Gunter Katz, a spokesman for the US-led coalition, disclosed their nationalities at a briefing, but said he could not provide other details about the incident because it was still under investigation. He said a seventh NATO service member killed Sunday in a separate insurgent attack in the south also was an American. The Taliban on Monday claimed responsibility for the deaths of the six US troops — the latest caused by bombs planted by insurgents along roads, paths or mountain tracks. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a statement the blast struck the US troops in their armored vehicle around 8 p.m. Sunday in Wardak province, just south of Kabul. Coalition and Afghan forces are trying to secure areas of Wardak that insurgents use as gateway into the Afghan capital where they stage high-profile attacks on Afghan government and NATO targets. The fact that this anti-Israel resolution was rejected by just two votes is not a comfort, and in any case those who did oppose this specific resolution nevertheless still wish to boycott products from Jewish "settlements", those Jews who have the audacity to simply live in their own homeland. There is no "occupation", these Jews are living on land which rightfully belongs to the Jewish state. Calling for boycotts of Jewish businesses is reminiscent of nazi Germany. JPost:
US Presbyterian Church rejects Israel divestment By JONNY PAUL IN LONDON AND JERUSALEM POST STAFF 08/07/2012 General Assembly rejects by 333-331 margin motion to divest from companies it says provide Israel services aiding occupation. The largest Presbyterian church in the US narrowly voted against divesting its portfolio from three companies that have been accused of selling Israel products and providing services used to oppress Palestinians in the West Bank, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has reported. By a margin of 333-331 with two abstentions, the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA), being held in Pittsburgh, rejected on Thursday a motion to divest from Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard and Motorola Solutions. The church’s General Assembly instead passed a minority report that avoided divestment, but encouraged investing in businesses that operate for peace in Palestine, according to the Post-Gazette. The General Assembly is the highest decision- making body for the church, which has some 2 million members.continue reading
