Antisemitism in Denmark

So they punish the peaceful law-abiding Jewish students and allow in the thugs. That makes sense in an upside down world. How about this for a concept, bar the immigrant (muslims) from the school or the country for that matter, and allow the Jews to enroll. I know that's a radical politically incorrect idea, but it is one that will make for a better society. Europe is sick.

Hiding Judaism in Copenhagen

> Most visitors to Copenhagen avoid the gritty neighborhood of Nørrebro, a mixed enclave of immigrants, lower-middle class Danes, and gentrifying white hipsters. But the literate traveler might stop at the area’s one major tourist attraction: Assistens Cemetery, a sprawling patch of land dotted with the gravestones of famous Danes like Hans Christian Andersen and Søren Kierkegaard. Around the corner from the Kierkegaard family plot, a thicket of Russian Orthodox three-bar crosses marks the final resting place of those who fled Tsarism and Bolshevism—a subtle reminder of Denmark’s historic generosity to non-Danes.
>
> When one exits Assistens Cemetery onto Nørrebrogade, the neighborhood’s busy main thoroughfare, it’s obvious that Denmark’s generosity persists. The street is thick with kebab and shawarma shops, halal butchers, and traditional Scandinavian bakeries—the konditori—advertising daily specials in Arabic. Nørrebro, once a working-class redoubt famous for its strident left-wing politics, now bustles with religiously conservative immigrants who abandoned the chaos of their home countries for the stability of the welfare state.
>
> Walking this length of Nørrebrogade, as I did on a freezing day last month, provides a street-level view of multicultural Denmark. It’s a perfectly pleasant experience, provided you are, like me, an unassuming gentile. For Jews exploring Nørrebro, it’s advisable to heed the advice of Israel’s ambassador to Denmark, Arthur Avnon, who last November suggested that Jews traveling in Copenhagen exercise extreme subtlety: Don’t speak Hebrew too loudly, cover up any visible Star of David jewelry, fold your kippot and slip them into your pockets. In other words, in certain areas of Copenhagen, it’s best to keep your Judaism to yourself. Continue reading

Anti-Israel Activists Get Raped in Libya

Jew-hating Brits on their way to Gaza to aid hamas, were raped by jihadists in Libya. I can't help but see the poetic justice in that.

   Pro-Palestinian activists raped in Libya

TWO British activists with a humanitarian convoy destined for the Gaza Strip have been subjected to a brutal gang rape by five men in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi, the deputy prime minister says.
The two women of Pakistani origin "were brutally raped in front of their father", Awadh al-Barassi said on his Facebook page, condemning "a horrible act".
Barassi said he had been to see the two victims in Benghazi on Thursday, and that the family was "in a very bad psychological state".
The women, accompanied by their father on the convoy organised by Turkish NGO IHH, had been destined for the Palestinian coastal enclave blockaded by Israel when it was blocked from leaving Libya and entering Egypt.
The three decided to return to Benghazi accompanied by two more Britons, with the aim of getting a flight home. But when they arrived in Libya's second city they were abducted by five unidentified men.

A Western diplomatic source speaking on condition of anonymity confirmed the group had been abducted, but was unable to say the women had been sexually assaulted, pending medical reports.
The diplomatic source also said there had been arrests in the case, without specifying how many.
Another source said the family was now being looked after at the Turkish consulate in Benghazi.

Halal Easter Eggs and Cat Food in Australia

I didn't know there were muslim cats. Why is cat food being certified as halal? This goes to show how far islamic supremacists have succeeded in enforcing sharia law into western societies.

Halal Easter Eggs: Cadbury gets halal certification for Easter

It's protection money -- the rackets. More "zakat" for jihad and the spread of Islamic imperialism.
Halal Easter eggs and cat food: where big money meets religion SMH.com (Hat tip Danita)
Cadbury will sell a mountain of chocolates this Easter, as it does every Easter. It has been careful to make sure that its products are certified as halal, even though it is not necessary. Hundreds of companies in Australia do the same. Halal certification has become a big business.
The essence of halal is that any food is forbidden to Muslims if it includes blood, pork, Cabury halalalcohol, the flesh of carnivores or carrion, or comes from an animal which has not been slaughtered in the correct manner, which includes having its throat slit. Food labelled as halal invariably involves the payment of a fee. It does not extend to chocolate but Cadbury lists 71 products which are halal, ranging from Dairy Milk to Freddo frogs to Red Tulip chocolates. The website also states: ''We do not have any kosher-certified products.''
''Cadbury also pay for halal certification on the Easter product range, even though Easter is a Christian celebration and nothing to do with Islam,'' says Kirralie Smith, who runs a website called Halal Choices. The website lists 340 companies in Australia that pay for halal certification, including Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Franklins, Kellogg's, MasterFoods, Nestle and even Kraft's Vegemite.
Halal Choices has received more than 250,000 visits since Smith, a Christian activist, created the website two years ago to draw attention to the incremental extension of sharia into Australian culture.
''[Cadbury has] a standard letter to people who complain about their halal certification which says they have been assured the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils [which issues halal certifications] are not involved in any illegal activity,'' Smith said. ''They might want to explain the $9 million in fraud involving the Malek Fahd school.''
(Last year the Malek Fahd Islamic School in Sydney was ordered to repay $9 million in state funding which the state and federal governments said had been illegally transferred to the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils. A federal government audit also questioned numerous payments made to AFIC by Islamic colleges in Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide.) Read the rest

Plotting the Destruction of Israel

Obama and various arab-muslim nations are getting together to decide how to carve up Israel.

Israpundit:

Erekat: Arab delegation will present peace plan in Washington

Ted Belman. Something is going on. Obama is forging new relations between the Arabs and Israel. The cease fire in Gaza involved Qatar and Egypt who both undertook to get involved and Israel agreed. Bibi apologized to Turkey as part of a bigger deal which included Obama agreeing to side with Israel on the right of return by saying the Palestinians had to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. He is building bridges between Saudi Arabia and Turkey and Israel. They all want a common front against Syria and Iran. Bibi is cutting deals all over the place. I see him compromising on the settlement blocs and on Jerusalem in order to have peace in our time. But don’t worry, he won’t jeopardize our security.
A few weeks ago I wrote , Maybe things aren’t so bad. referring to Obama’s visit.
Maan News
DOHA, Qatar (Ma’an) — A delegation of Arab ministers will head to
Washington to discuss the Arab Peace Initiative with US President Barack
Obama’s new administration, Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said
Wednesday.
The delegation “aims to declare a joint stand towards the peace process so
America realizes this is not only a Palestinian issue but an Arabic and
Islamic one as well,” Erekat said.

The group will include the foreign ministers of Palestine, Qatar, Jordan,
Egypt. Ministers from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Morocco and Iraq may also
attend, Erekat said.

Israel's Humiliating Apology

Clearly the Turks were the aggressors as everyone saw on the video at the time of the Mavi Marmara jihad flotilla incident. The devout muslim jihadist ruler erdogan sent out that jihad flotilla to Gaza for the express purpose of violently confronting the Israelis. It was an act of war by Turkey. The jihadists on board chanted genocidal antisemitic slogans before embarking on their nefarious mission.

That Bibi would apologize to erdogan for Israel defending itself against Turkish agression is perverse, pathetic and sickening. Obama obviously pressured him to do so, but that is no excuse. He should have stood up like a man and refused.

There is nothing Israel needs from Turkey that it was worth the humiliation of groveling.

This is typical with islamic supremacists to engage in violent aggression and then claim to be the victims of those they are attacking.

An Israeli Apology to Turkey

by Daniel Pipes
March 22, 2013
Cross-posted from National Review Online, The Corner

Be the first of your friends to like this.
On Feb. 27, Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan told a conference in Vienna, "Just like Zionism, anti-Semitism and fascism, Islamophobia must be regarded as a crime against humanity." His calling the Jewish nationalist movement that built the State of Israel a "crime against humanity" prompted widespread criticism, including by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
On Mar. 19, Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan announced, "I stand behind my remarks in Vienna." Nonetheless, on Mar. 22, Binyamin Netanyahu issued the long-awaited apology to Turkey for the Mavi Marmara incident. His statement made it clear "that the tragic results regarding the Mavi Marmara were unintentional and that Israel expresses regret over injuries and loss of life. In light of the Israeli investigation into the incident, which pointed out several operational errors, Prime Minister Netanyahu apologized to the Turkish people for any errors that could have led to loss of life and agreed to complete the agreement on compensation."
My take: ErdoÄŸan's government has mastered the art of provocation and is being rewarded for it. The Israelis should not have apologized but should have demanded an apology from Ankara for its support to the terrorist-connected group that undertook this aggressive act.
Now that the deed is done, can we expect a change in Turkish policy toward Israel, an end to its aggressive statements and support for its enemies? That would surprise me. Rather, I expect the AKP government to pocket this apology and use as a building block for its neo-Ottoman empire. (March 22, 2013)

Obama's Speech to Leftist Students

How about Obama put himself in the shoes of the Israelis? Her enemies would rather send their own children to their deaths than accept Israel. They joyously celebrate the "martyrdom" of their own children who were killed in the process of murdering Jews. How can anyone seriously believe there is a remote possibility for peace when "palestinian" children are raised to be suicide bombers?

The IDF isn't a foreign army, it is their homeland. The foreign occupiers are the Arabs.

No wonder Obama chose this handpicked audience of leftist college students.

Obama’s speech impediment
The warm bath in which U.S. President Barack Obama has been soaking since his arrival in Israel on Wednesday made up for the chilly reception he received in the Palestinian Authority.

While Israelis were decking themselves out in suits and stilettos to prepare for his major speech at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on Thursday afternoon — and gala dinner at President Shimon Peres' residence in the evening — Palestinians were in the streets of Ramallah and Bethlehem shouting "Allahu akbar" ("Allah is great") and burning Obama's effigy. This was their response to his assertion that a two-state solution has to include a Jewish state.
Such was the PLO's welcome for the American leader. Hamas didn't bother with all the rhetoric and ritual. Its operatives simply launched several missiles into southern Israel as soon as the sun came out. No muss, no fuss. Just a bunch of panicked Jewish families barely making it to their bomb shelters in time. Read the rest

DHS Giving "Trusted Traveler" Status to Saudis

We will be making it easier for citizens of the country where 15 of the 9/11 hijackers came from, who's jihad was also funded by the saudi regime, to enter America. How perverse is this? It goes to show the enormous influence the saudi lobby has not only over our Middle East policies, but now we find out, over domestic policy as well. I'll be waiting for the Walt and Mearsheimer book about the sinister saudi lobby.

DHS questioned over decision to let Saudi passengers skip normal passport controls FOX News, March 20, 2013 (thanks to Jamie)
A Department of Homeland Security program intended to give "trusted traveler" status to low-risk airline passengers soon will be extended to Saudi travelers, opening the program to criticism for accommodating the country that produced 15 of the 19 hijackers behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Sources voiced concern about the decision to the Investigative Project on Terrorism, which issued a report Wednesday on the under-the-radar announcement -- which was first made by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano after meeting in January with her Saudi counterpart. According to the IPT, this would be the first time the Saudi government has been given such a direct role in fast-tracking people for entry into the United States.
"I think you have radical Wahhabism in certain elements in Saudi Arabia, and I think to be more lenient there than in other places would be a mistake," Rep. Frank Wolf told the Investigative Project on Terrorism. "There were 15 [hijackers] from that country, and there is a lot taking place in that region."
Only an exclusive handful of countries enjoy inclusion in the Global Entry program -- Canada, Mexico, South Korea and the Netherlands. According to the IPT, some officials are questioning why Saudi Arabia gets to reap the benefits of the program, when key U.S. allies like Germany and France are not enrolled; Israel has reached a deal with the U.S., but that partnership has not yet been implemented.
Any Saudi travelers cleared through the program will be able to bypass the normal customs line after providing passports and fingerprints. The status lasts for five years.
The decision is a turnaround, the IPT notes, from when Saudi Arabia was briefly placed on a list of countries whose U.S.-bound travelers would face higher scrutiny, in the wake of the failed Christmas Day bombing attempt in 2009.
But Napolitano spoke highly of "the bond between the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" when she announced the change in January.
"By enhancing collaboration with the government of Saudi Arabia, we reaffirm our commitment to more effectively secure our two countries against evolving threats while facilitating legitimate trade and travel," Napolitano said.
The Global Entry program was launched in 2008 to expedite pre-approved passengers through the airport customs and security process when they arrive in the U.S. The program is designed to weed out low-risk passengers and enable authorities to zero in on those who may be more likely to pose a threat.

Fatah Lionizes Mother of Terrorists and hamas MP

Someone forgot to tell her that jihad is a personal inner struggle having nothing to do with killing infidels. It's amazing just how many devout muslims misunderstand their own religion. How can anyone seriously claim this to be a religion of peace? Read the words of this insane "palestinian" woman who proudly sent three of her sons off to commit acts of terror. What normal mother would rejoice over the deaths of her sons? What normal culture would teach its children that death in the cause of allah is better than life? What normal culture would teach its children that dying in the cause of slaughtering Jews or other infidels should be their highest ideal? If clueless westerners want to know why there isn't peace in the Middle East, this sums it up. As long as they follow the teachings of islam there will never be peace. As long as they don't even value the lives of their own children and regard as their "religious obligation" to murder infidels, there will never be peace. This blunt truth is something we dare not speak about. Just to make clear to clueless liberals, this woman explicitly states that her devotion to islam is what motivates her to sacrifice the lives of her children.

Fatah praises deceased Hamas MP Um Nidal

for a "journey of giving,

overflowing with struggle and sacrifice"

and for sacrificing her "heroic sons,"

one who killed 5 students, another who invented the Qassam rocket

by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Abbas Zaki, Member of Fatah Central Committee, recently spoke about the death
of Hamas MP Um Nidal (Mariam Farahat), referring to her "journey of giving,
overflowing with struggle and sacrifice." Palestinian Authority MP Mustafa
Al-Barghouti expressed similar awe for Um Nidal "giving her three heroic sons...
for Palestine and for the freedom of the Palestinian people."

Palestinian Media Watch documented that Um Nidal joined her terrorist son
Muhammad in 2002, in his farewell video sending him off on his terror attack,
saying this "is the best day of my life." She added that she wished to
"sacrifice more [sons] for Allah's forgiveness, and for the flag [of Islam]."

Following that attack, in which Muhammad killed 5 Israeli students, Um Nidal
said:

"I gave my son to Jihad for Allah. It's our religious obligation... As much as
my living children honor me, it will not be like the honor the Martyr showed
me... The greatest honor [my son] showed me was his Martyrdom."

Roger Waters Stands With hamas

What he is advocating amounts to nazism. The nazis boycotted Jewish businesses. He must know that Israel is not remotely an apartheid state, whereas every muslim country is, and he does not advocate boycotts of those countries.  So the answer must be that he is a vicious antisemite. What roger waters is actually supporting is the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Israel along with the rockets and suicide bombers. Roger waters sides with the modern day nazis of hamas, hezbollah etc. He is nothing short of evil and he can go straight to hell.

If he or any member of his family should get an illness,  will he extend his boycott to not accepting medical products created in Israel?

Boycotting roger waters and every other performer who participates in the boycott of Israel is the way to go.

NY Slimes' Relentless Anti-Israel Coverage

The NY slimes wants us to feel sorry for the poor “palestinian” savages. If they don’t want checkpoints, they should stop trying to murder Jews. It’s that simple. As for the notion of collective punishment, there are hardly any innocents amongst the “palestinians”. The entire culture supports the murderous actions of hamas and fatah. So too damn bad that they must go through checkpoints, as if that’s even a big deal. The bastards at the NY slimes would have us believe that “palestinians” undergoing checkpoints is worse than Jews being murdered. The NY slimes isn’t just callous towards the Jewish victims of “palestinian” jihad terror, they openly advocate for the jihadists.  May the entire bunch go to hell.

NY Times Hits Israel with a One-Two Punch

COMMITTEE FOR ACCURACY IN MIDDLE EAST REPORTING IN AMERICA
The Times landed a sharp one-two punch at Israel in its March 17 coverage. There was correspondent Jodi Rudoren’s front page story rehashing old themes about Jewish housing in eastern Jerusalem allegedly victimizing Arab residents and thwarting peace. Then, in a rambling 8000-word cover story for the Sunday magazine (“Is This Where The Third Intifada Will Start?”), Ben Ehrenreich, who has elsewhere called for an end to the Jewish state because “the problem is Zionism,” waxed poetic about the Palestinian “resisters” from a West Bank town engaged in weekly – and sometimes violent – protests.
Among the featured faces in the cover illustration is the unrepentant terrorist who helped take the life of Malki Roth and other innocents at Jerusalem’s Sbarro Pizzeria in August 2001.
Sunday’s banner day followed other recent, extreme anti-Israel pieces, including aMarch 9 column by Joseph Levine that argued “one really ought to question Israel’s right to exist…” He claimed it’s “morally problematic” for Jews to inhabit the land of their forefathers. Levine is an active, vocal champion of divestment campaigns against Israel.
A few days later on March 12, former PLO spokesman and current Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, poured invective on the Jewish state in an Op-Ed devoid of balance and factual context, charging Israel with “intransigence,” “colonization,” “subjugation,” “discrimination,” “oppression” and more.
But it was the one-two punch on Sunday that most shocked readers. With Rudoren and Ehrenreich’s articles, The Times gave arguably its two most coveted pieces of real estate over to ideology, in contravention of journalistic ethics that require reporters to provide a full, balanced and accurate depictions of events. These stories are obviously of a piece with the increasingly politicized coverage now proffered by the newspaper. Continue reading

"Palestinians" Protest Against Obama

It doesn't matter how much you bend over backwards to appease the "palestinians" and pressure Israel for concessions. Anything short of bringing about the destruction of Israel is viewed by the arabs as being “pro-Israel”. Thus their hatred of Obama as much as they hated Bush and every other American president. You would think that Obama would realize that apppeasing the muslims is a fruitless effort.

Palestinian protesters burn pictures of Obama in Bethlehem
By KHALED ABU TOAMEH
LAST UPDATED: 03/18/2013 18:24
Palestinians in Bethlehem on Monday set fire to pictures of US President Barack Obama, saying he was not welcome in their city.

Scores of protesters gathered near Manger Square and threw shoes at a US diplomatic vehicle as it arrived at the scene in the context of preparations for Obama’s visit to the city later this week.

The protesters also set fire to signs posted in the city earlier this week and reminding Obama that Palestinians still don’t have 3G communications technology.

Similar anti-Obama demonstrations are expected to take place in Ramallah and other Palestinian cities in the coming days.

Libertarianism vs Conservatism

If libertarianism is the new direction for the GOP, where's the improvement from the current GOP establishment?  Libertarians side with the left on social issues; they support gay marriage, abortion, they favor amnesty for illegal aliens and open borders etc. On foreign affairs they are weak on national defense and weak on the war on terror. In fact they see no threat from islam and think America is at fault for provoking the terrorists. The only difference between libertarians and the democrats is over economic issues. What the GOP needs to do to win is to get back to Reaganism. They need to have a core set of values. Libertarians have no moral values or a moral compass.

Conservatives Finding Common Cause With the Far Left

Now some "conservatives" have resorted to passing around an article from the leftist Glen Greenwald and the Guardian which attacks the war on terror and claims terrorists abroad who happen to be "American" citizens are still subjected to constitutional rights. That's BS. Charles Krauthammer is correct on this. Somehow the war on islamic terrorism has become wrong since a democrat is in the White House? Where once conservatives were bashing Clinton for treating terrorism as a law-enforcement issue rather than acts of war, now they have suddenly done a 180.  Do they believe the key to victory is aligning with the likes of Glen Greenwald, Van Jones, Code Pink and CAIR on national security?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/mar/15/charles-krauthammer-constitutional-ignorance-foreign-soil

Meanwhile Ted Cruz speaking at CPAC persisted on the issue of drone strikes, praising his "friend" Rand Paul. Cruz is such a dick on this issue. If this is supposed to be a counter to the GOP establishment, I see no improvement. If standing for giving due process to terrorists waging war on America and plotting to murder Americans en masse is the new conservative position, count me out. It seems the Tea Party wing of the GOP is just as clueless when it comes to confronting the jihad.

Jew-Hating Aussie MP's

Craven Australian dhimmis spew anti-Israel bile in parliament. If any comparison to nazi Germany is to be made, it should be used to describe Israel's enemies: hamas, hezbollah, the Iranian regime etc. who's aim is Jewish genocide. And in a further inversion of truth, they equate the genocidal nazi hezbollah with those who resisted the nazis in WW2. How sick is that?

If Gaza is an outdoor jail, that is because of hamas which rules Gaza. Have they forgotten that Israel relinquished control of Gaza in 2005? The thing that gets me is that there are so many horrific atrocities being committed in the name of islam, and yet cretins like these are focused on the "palestinians" and accusing Israel of imaginary crimes while ignoring very real islamic crimes against humanity. The truth does not matter to these sick, twisted, morally depraved individuals, what matters is jumping on the mindless hate-Israel bandwagon.

Australia MPs: Gaza is world's largest outdoor jail

Two Australian MPs slam Israel's treatment of Palestinians; Labor MP compares former occupation of Lebanon with Nazi Germany.

An Australian politician sparked uproar in a parliament debate Wednesday, when he described Gaza as "the world's largest open-air prison camp" and compared resistance to Israel's former occupation of southern Lebanon with that against Nazi Germany, Australian media reported Friday.
Labor Legislative Councillor Shaoquett Moselmane made his comments during a debate in the New South Wales's (NSW) parliament over a motion on a recent study trip to Israel by a delegation of regional parliamentarians organized by the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies.
Moselmane's description of Gaza echoed comments made earlier in the debate by David Shoebridge of the Greens party, who slammed the trip as a one-sided visit which "edited out" Palestinian and left-wing Israeli voices.
"How could members go there [Israel] and meet with only one of the legislative bodies, the Knesset, and ignore the Palestinian Legislative Council? How could members, who wanted to get a balanced understanding of the issues facing Israel, Palestine and the Middle East, go to the other side of the planet and fail to visit Gaza, the world’s largest outdoor prison?" Shoebridge asked.

In Moselmane's ensuing speech he defended resistance groups who fought against the Israeli occupation in Lebanon and compared them with resistance against Nazi Germany, according to a blow-by-blow account of the session posted on the Australian Jewish news service J-Wire's website. "I resent members here accusing the resistance of being terrorist groups. I salute the resistance," Moselmane stated.
"If the resistance in Lebanon had not forced the Israelis out of Lebanon I would not have been able to go to my grandparents’ home in southern Lebanon and visit the land I was born in," he continued. "I salute them for their resistance. It is the right of people to do so. Imagine what the response would have been in 1941 or 1942 if we had condemned resistance against Nazi Germany. Guns would have been blazing at us for not resisting Nazi Germany."
According to J-Wire, NSW Jewish Board of Deputies chief executive officer Vic Alhadeff said that the "extreme and baseless comments" came from a marginal group and were "quickly and appropriately condemned by the Labor and Liberal MPs."
Jeremy Jones AM, Director of Community Affairs of the Australia/Israel and Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC), told J-Wire: “When a member of an Australian parliament crossed the line from vigorous criticism of Israel to what the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights describes as antisemitic discourse – making a direct analogy between Israel and Nazi Germany – it would have been hoped the entire Parliament would have been outraged.”

CPAC Farce

To hell with Chris Christie. The real scandal regarding CPAC is that Pam Geller was barred from attending because it is controlled by stealth jihadist Grover Norquist.  Any discussion about the war islam is waging against us is forbidden.

And how is it that Rand Paul has suddenly become a spokesperson for the conservative movement even though he is not a conservative? He is to the left on amnesty and he is on the left regarding national defense and the war on terror and other issues. That is precisely why he voted for Hagel, because he is in agreement with him. But clueless, unthinking conservatives have somehow come to see Rand as speaking for them.

Why Rand Paul and His Blind Followers are Wrong

Rand Paul is an extreme isolationist, anti-war libertarian. He is of the belief that we provoke islamic terrorism. The drone strikes "on American soil" are a red-herring. He's opposed to drone strikes against terrorists even abroad.  In fact he's opposed to the war on islamic terror in general. It's frightening that the vast majority of the conservative movement is now making common cause with Code Pink and CAIR.  This is not even a concern for them.

Conservatives are thrilled that Van Jones called Rand Paul a hero. But rather than his remark causing them to rethink their position, they were gleeful that now he has come around to their side. How stupid can you get? In fact there is nothing out of character for Jones to take this position, it is consistent with his anti-Americanism. Do they think Van Jones is motivated by his concern for the constitution? As a communist he wants to replace the US constitution. Van Jones takes this position because he supports America's enemies. Van Jones and Code Pink, like Rand Paul, are opposed to the fight against islamic terrorism, period.

Such silly, sophomoric  #Istandwithrand groupthink mirrors that of the Obamabots. In fact the whole mob mentality on the right regarding Rand Paul is just as creepy and dangerous.

Chavez's Antisemitism

Good riddance to this communist Jew-hating skunk. This is the tyrant who Sean Penn and Oliver Stone think was such a wonderful guy and are in mourning over. Of course those two degenerates didn't have to live under his rule.

Living in Venezuela, we had everything — a large family, a thriving business, a circle of friends both within the Jewish community and outside it, and a general feeling that we were at a good place in life. All of this was turned upside down when Hugo Chávez was elected president.
I was not among the Venezuelans who shed tears of sorrow over the president's death. As someone who lived in the country's capital of Caracas for 12 years, I felt that Chávez's reign was in direct opposition to freedom, democracy, human rights, and above all — my Jewish identity.
I came to Venezuela in 1991 to be with my husband, who was born there and whom I met while he was living and studying in Israel. In Caracas he worked as a fashion designer and managed a chain of clothing stores. The family business prospered, as did many other local Jewish businesses. Of course, the regime that preceded Chávez was not lacking in corruption, but at least it did not treat Jews with a heavy hand and allowed us to conduct our lives in peace. All this changed in 1999 when Chávez was elected president.
Chávez's many anti-Jewish statements in the media, like calling Jews pigs, denying the Holocaust and accusing Israel of genocide against the Palestinians, contributed to an atmosphere of anti-Semitism that grew worse year by year. Suddenly it became frightening to walk down the street after dark, for fear of being harassed. Our synagogues and Jewish community buildings were spray-painted with swastikas and anti-Semitic slogans and there was a feeling that Chávez was egging on the populace and speaking the "people's language" against the Jews.
He was always quick to say that Venezuela's large businesses are controlled by Jews "stealing the nation's money," and we felt the results directly in our bottom lines. Everyone in the Jewish community felt their financial situation decline over time. I particularly remember the closing of a large Jewish-owned shopping mall in Caracas. Chávez decided to nationalize the property for the benefit of the state. Because many of the mall's shop owners were Jewish, we felt that the motive was anti-Semitism, pure and simple.
The Jewish community did not merely suffer from economic harassment. Government operatives would frequently follow children from rich Jewish families in order to kidnap them and demand ransom. In other instances, after Chávez had gained control of the police and the army, the defense forces would occasionally place a closure on the Jewish community schools, with the children inside and their parents unable to gain access to them. The pretext was that the Jews had hidden weapons inside and that searches had to be conducted to confiscate them.
The harassment, restrictions and overall atmosphere made my life as a Jew in Venezuela unbearable. But I hoped that the nation would have its say and replace Chávez with another leader. What finally broke my resolve and "persuaded" me to leave everything behind and accede to my husband's urgent pleas to leave was a law passed by Chávez concerning children. This law stipulated that children up to the age of 3 belong to their parents, afterward until the age of 10 they move to a school that is under control of the government, and from 10 until age 18 they study in a military boarding school. From that moment I understood that my future and the future of my children lies elsewhere. Almost all of our family agreed to come to Israel with us, and the rest fled to the United States, Spain, Peru and other countries.

Rand Paul's Posturing

Rand Paul is a posturing phony who is running for president. He failed to take a stand on Hagel, in fact he voted for him. Now we are supposed to believe he is taking a principled stance regarding Brennan and drones? Brennan's position on islam and jihad was more than enough to disqualify him for head of the CIA. Rand Paul didn't care about that issue. Gullible, pathetic and desperate for leadership conservatives are looking to Paul as their new hero.

How about some real courage on the part of GOP politicians including Rand Paul by speaking out against the islamic infiltration of our government? Where was Rand Paul when Michele Bachmann put her neck on the line regarding muslim brotherhood operatives in our government? Her own party treated her like a pariah and a crackpot and she was left twisting in the wind. Basically most conservatives and Republicans are cowards who fear the wrath of the left and islamic supremacists and therefore won't confront the issue of islam in any significant way.  Rand Paul and the others are simply taking this anti-drone stance because its safe. It's a safe issue because its a position the left shares with Paul and so won't attack them as racists or islamophobes.

More Spreading of Anti-Israel Lies

This is typical ugly antisemitic lies promoted in the left-wing antisemitic media. This story is meant to purposely give people the false impression of apartheid. I'm so sick of this crap. The lies and blood libels against the Jewish state continue at a relentless pace. No one in the western media bothers to fact check, there is not a shred of introspection on their part as they repeatedly publish "palestinian" propaganda unquestioningly. The media's purpose is no longer to inform ,but is agenda driven. Meanwhile the very real apartheid practiced in muslim countries is ignored. The way the media has been reporting this non-story completely turns the situation on its head.  Here's the REAL story.

Palestinian Only’ Buses in Israel: The Big Lies are Back
Of course there are no "Jews only" roads in Israel, just as there are no Jews only buses or even 'Palestinian only' buses in Israel. But if you tell a big lie often enough, well, Goebbels was the master and look where that took us.

The headlines roll out, the journalistic warfare continues, and the Jewish State once more is cast in the starring role of “evil, Apartheid empire.” This time the story is that Israel is forcing the Arab Palestinians to ride separate buses from the ones Jewish Israelis ride.
The reality is exactly the opposite – there are no “Palestinian only” buses. Instead, with its new bus routes, Israel is reducing crowded buses, attempting to relieve ethnic tensions and security concerns, and is assisting Arab Palestinians enter Green Line Israel to work. But we’ll get to the facts – which exonerate Israel from “Apartheid” charges – in a minute. For right now you can rest assured that despite efforts to cast the Arab Palestinians in the role of Rosa Parks, a closer fit would be to cast the purveyors of this latest attack as peddlers of the Big Lie.
First, the hysteria:
One headline, from the magazine formerly known as Newsweek, and now known as – more accurately – the Daily Beast, “West Bank Buses Only the Latest in Israel’s Segregated Public Transport,” and one from the uber-leftist +972, “Israel’ new ‘Palestinian only’ segregated bus line,” and even the Israeli news media outlet YNet fans the flames: “Ministry launches ‘Palestinians only’ buses.”
The claims are exactly as you would expect them, and made by those whom you would suspect. For example, Jessica Montell is the director of the anti-Israel, pro-Arab B’tselem Rights group. “Creating separate bus lines for Israeli Jews and Palestinians is a revolting plan,” Montell told Army Radio. “This is simply racism.”
And the far-leftist political Meretz party chairwoman Zahava Gal-On reamed Transportation Minister Israel Katz, demanding that he “immediately cancel the segregated lines in the West Bank. Separate bus lines for Palestinians prove that occupation and democracy cannot coexist,” she said.
What are the facts?
HISTORICAL FACTS
First of all, all Israeli citizens are permitted to ride all Israeli transportation vehicles, whether they are Arab, Finnish or Lithuanian, Jewish, Muslim, Christian or Buddhist.
Second, any non-citizen of Israel, just as is the case with every other country in the world, has to show identification when entering Israel’s official borders – it is true for American citizens entering Canada and Mexico, just as it is the case for citizens of the Palestinian Authority who wish to enter Israel.
Third, Israeli citizens who live in Judea and Samaria pay taxes, a portion of which subsidize the transportation infrastructure and vehicles, whereas Arabs who live in the PA towns do not. In fact, taxes paid by Arabs in Israel are turned over to the PA to support their infrastructure, which includes – or should – transportation services for their residents.
One consequence of the preceding points is that the Israeli bus lines travel from and to all areas in which tax-paying Israeli citizens live – from Jerusalem to Shilo, from Tel Aviv to Efrat, and so forth. The Israeli bus companies do not stop at, for example, the Arab town of Ramallah, just as they do not stop at non-authorized Jewish towns such as Givat Har-el.
WHAT IS NEW?
The bare fact: the Israeli government added two bus lines (so far, there was overcrowding on Monday, March 4, the first day the service was instituted, and the Transportation Ministry said more buses will likely be added) that will serve Arab Palestinian towns with transportation into central Israel. The Israeli bus lines previously did not stop in towns controlled by the Palestinian Authority. Despite the efforts of BDS advocates, there are tens of thousands of Arab Palestinians who work in different parts of Israel. Arab Palestinians with work permits would previously have to travel first to a place where the Israeli buses stop, or would be dependent on the much higher-priced Arab buses to get into central Israel.
So why the hysteria? Because some see this as an evil plot to segregate Jews and Arabs. But non-citizens are not entitled to use Israeli public transportation into central Israel without showing border identification, and prior to the provision of these new bus lines, Arab Palestinians were dependent on transportation services by “pirate” (Arab, by the way) companies which charged the Arabs far more than the Israeli lines do. Jews As Perennial Scapegoats

Vincent Browne epitomizes the moral sickness and cowardice of Europeans. According to this cretin, the Jewish state is the reason for muslims waging war on the rest of the world.

The islamic world is polarizing.itself against the rest of the world. The islamic world has been waging war against infidels for over a thousand years. Hatred of non-muslims is rooted in islamic texts. I’ve had enough of pathetic little weasels like him taking the safe and easy way out by scapegoating Jews and Israel for muslim violence because they are far too spineless to criticize islam and muslims. Send this skunk a copy of Andrew Bostom’s “The Legacy of islamic jihad”.

Vincent Browne Censured For Calling Israel a “Cancer” March 3, 2013 0:28by
The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland censured Vincent Browne, upholding a formal complaint filed against the veteran TV3 presenter.
Last October, Browne called Israel “the cancer in foreign affairs,” said that Israel “polarises the Islamic community of the world against the rest of the world,” and claimed that through the creation of the state, the Jews “stole the land from the Arabs.” The on-air bigotry earned Browne special recognition in last year’s Dishonest Reporting awards.

BDS at the University of Toronto

When will there be a group formed called Students Against islamic Apartheid?

They should be boycotting companies which do business in islamic countries where there actually are human rights violations on a grand scale. That they don't reveals the fraudulent and antisemitic nature of the BDS movement

I have really had it with the crackpot left’s control of the universities and colleges, the media, government, the culture etc. And I’m even more disgusted with spineless conservatives failing to form any resistance to the left’s onlslaught against America, Israel and western civilization.

Israpundit:

University of Toronto graduate students endorse BDS, call on administration to divest

This follows on the heels of a similar motion which was soundly defeated at Oxford. This is all the more strange considering how pro-Israel the Canadian Government is and anti-Israel the British government is. Ted Belman
The Jewish Tribune explains:
A pro-Israel student has confirmed a report by Students Against Israeli Apartheid (SAIA) that the University of Toronto Graduate Students’ Union (UTGSU) has passed a motion to endorse boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel.

The student, who asked to remain anonymous, described the machinations of the anti-Israel activists as a “blindside.”
The annual general meeting of the UTGSU was held the evening of Dec. 10, which was the second day of Chanukah.
In addition, the anti-Israel motion was not on the agenda, but it was accepted as additional business by the meeting chair after the meeting began, he said.
He said the room appeared to be stacked with students who supported the BDS movement and knew about the motion in advance.
According to the report by SAIA, which was posted on the far-left website Rabble.ca, the resolution states, “Be it resolved that the Graduate Students [sic] Union endorse Palestinian civil society’s 2005 call for boycotts, divestment and sanctions by calling on the University of Toronto to refrain from investing in all companies complicit in violations of international law. This includes any company that: profits from the illegal occupation of Palestinian land; directly benefits from the construction of the Wall [sic] and Israeli settlements; is economically active in settlements, and profits from the collective punishment of Palestinians.
“This would include the companies BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and Hewlett Packard.”
The Jewish Tribune was unable to reach anyone at the UTGSU for comment. According to its website, its offices had closed for the winter break at the time this story was filed.

Senate Opposes Israeli Preemptive Strike on Iran

After much of Israel’s population is abolished in an Iranian nuclear strike, the Senate will generously back Israel’s right to self-defense. I can’t think of a resolution more insulting and disgusting. For those who think the GOP is any better than the Dems, this “pro-Israel” resolution was bipartisan.

‘US would back Israel in defensive Iran strike’
Bipartisan group of U.S. senators introduce resolution: U.S. would back Israel militarily in defensive strike, unilateral penalties against Iran • “This is not a green light to Israel to do anything other than defend itself,” says Sen. Menendez.

The United States would back Israel militarily if the Middle East ally were to attack Iran in self-defense, a bipartisan group of senators said Thursday in introducing a forceful resolution.
“No one wants another conflict anywhere in the world militarily, but we also don’t want a nuclear-capable Iran,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., at a news conference.
The resolution also strongly endorses unilateral penalties against Iran. The measure comes as world powers met in Kazakhstan and proposed concessions to Tehran to maintain diplomatic channels that aim to rein in Iran’s nuclear program.
Iran insists that its program is geared toward peaceful purposes such as generating electricity and producing nuclear radioisotopes for medical use.
The chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., said he hopes for real progress toward a negotiated solution, but “we will not talk for talking sake.”
The resolution says that if Israel is “compelled to take military action in self-defense, the United States government should stand with Israel and provide diplomatic, military and economic support to the government of Israel in its defense of its territory, people and existence.”
It says that nothing in the measure should be considered an authorization for the use of military force or a declaration of war.
“This is not a green light to Israel to do anything other than defend itself. … We will be there,” Graham said.
Joining Menendez and Graham were Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., Susan Collins, R-Maine, John Hoeven, R-N.D., Bob Casey, D-Pa., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.
The group hopes to pass the resolution before President Barack Obama’s expected trip to Israel in March.
