NY Slimes Engages in Benghazi Cover Up

The NY slimes is a disgrace. This is not journalism. It is more like state-run media in dictatorships. They are participating in a White House cover up. This is not surprising. They are obviously covering up Hillary's culpability so as not to harm her presidential prospects for 2016. Benghazi should have sunk her presidential ambitions, yet she leads every potential GOP contender in the poles. People are being completely misinformed, deliberately so.

GOP congressman blasts NY Times Benghazi claims as ‘misleading’

A top congressional Republican is saying a new report that concludes Al Qaeda did not carry out the 2012 attack on the U.S diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, is “misleading.”
The new report published Saturday in the New York Times concludes that there was no evidence that Al Qaeda or other international terrorist groups had any role in the assault that killed four Americans on September 11, 2012, and that it appeared that the attack was fueled in large part by anger at an American-made anti-Islamic video, as the Obama administration first claimed.
New York Rep. Peter King, member and former chairman of the House’s Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, told Fox News the argument that the most overtly anti-Western militia, Ansar al-Shariah – not Al Qaeda – led the attack is an academic argument over semantics, considering Ansar al-Shariah is widely believed to be an affiliate terror group of Al Qaeda.
“It’s misleading,” King said. “It’s a distinction without a difference.”
The claims by the New York Times also conflicts with other evidence, including the testimony of Greg Hicks, the deputy of Ambassador Christopher Stevens who was killed in the attack. Hicks described the video as "a non-event in Libya" at that time, and consequently not a significant trigger for the attack
It would also contradict a separate report by a leading social media firm that found that the first reference to the anti-Islam film that was initially blamed for sparking the attack was not detected on social media until a day later.
Fox News’ Catherine Herridge contributed to this report.

Europe Rushing to do Business With Murderous Iran Regime

These are the same countries threatening sanctions against Israel for building Jewish housing. But they are lining up to do business with the murdering mullahs of Iran. This is among the numerous reasons Europeans are so morally reprehensible.

No halt to executions while EU delegation visits Iran," By Mosa Zahed,  UPI, December 26, 2013
LONDON, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Last week a European Parliament delegation returned from a six-day visit to Tehran, the first official visit to Iran in more than six years. The five-member delegation was led by the chairwoman of European Parliament's friendship delegation with Iran, Tarja Cronberg from Finnish Greens and included Cornelia Ernst, German communist; Isabelle Durant, Belgian Greens; Marietje Schaake, Dutch Liberals; and Josef Weidenholzer, Austrian Social Democrats.
During their Dec. 13-18 visit at least 38 death sentences were carried out official Iranian media sources said. This while many executions in prisons are conducted in secret and news of those is rarely released.
Many MEPs including those from the Group of the European People's Party, the largest in the European Parliament, refused to go to Iran in protest of the country's gross human rights violations.
Some analysts argue that this rare visit took place in the context of the Geneva talks, which are aimed at normalizing relations between Iran and the West by convincing the ayatollahs to give up their nuclear ambitions. However, others have pointed out that for the Iranian side, the ultimate goals of the Geneva talks remain breaking sanctions, forcing the West to accept a nuclear Iran and eliminating chances for regime change by the democratic opposition.
Opposition activists suggest that since "the current U.S. administration is among the weakest in U.S. history" Iran wants to use the opportunity to enhance its hegemony over the region and would thus warmly welcome any lifting of the crippling sanctions that have delayed its nuclear weapons ambitions.

Kosovo Church Desecrated

These are the intolerant savages we went to war for, bombing the Christian Serbs on behalf of their Kosovo muslims oppressors.

And while muslims desecrate churches with impunity, westerners are warned by our elites not to offend muslims in any way.

If only President Clinton had kept playing hide the cigar and stayed out of the Bosnian war. He understood nothing of jihad or of the history of the Balkans. Instead, he paved the way for the first Islamic state in the heart of Europe, Kosovo.
The Orthodox church dedicated to the Beheading of St. John the Baptist has been desecrated and turned into a garbage dump. The altar of this Serbian shrine, built on the place where Prince Lazar received communion with the army before the Battle of Kosovo, Muslim children have turned into a public toilet.

HBO Propaganda Doc About Fictional "Islamophobia"

Such a load of crap this is going to be. The reason why muslims are "keeping to themselves" is because they do not want to integrate into American society and want to form their own sharia enclaves just as they are doing in Europe. They do not believe in abiding by the laws of the countries they live, but following only islamic law. This propaganda documentary is making it appear they are isolating themselves out of fear of being victimized. The FBI in fact recently released a report which proves hate crimes against muslims are most definitely NOT on the rise. The notion that there is a rash of hate crimes against muslims is a complete fiction promoted by CAIR and accepted by the liberal media at face value. Jews are far more likely to be victimized by hate crimes. When will HBO do a documentary about the atrocities being inflicted upon non-muslims in muslim countries? Non-muslims in muslim countries wish they had it as good as muslims in America.

America is drowning in this relentless Muslim-victimhood propaganda in the media and movies. While Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered across the Muslim world and the jihad against the Jewish state of Israel continues unabated, we are subjected to this preposterous lie of the "victimization" of the perps. (Geobbels did the same thing. The Nazis, too, were the victims.)
Terror-tied groups like CAIR were consulted on a war-like propaganda film --  the kind of war film that Hollywood giants like Frank Capra and John Ford made for our side. Sixty years later, Hollywood is making these movies for the enemy narrative. It's just a small piece of how the the left lost the West.

Politicized "Charities" Use Christmas to Attack Israel

This is an outrage. At a time when Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered by muslims, why are these supposed Christian "charities" engaging in political warfare against Israel?

hamas Renews War on Israel

It is no coincidence that terror attacks escalate every time "peace" talks are taking place, every time Israel is put under pressure to surrender more territory. Kerry needs to be told to get lost.

And what headline does the pro-jihad, Jew-hating scum at MSN display:

"Girl Killed in Israeli Airstrike"

I can imagine the anti-Semitic comments following the article. I know without having to bother to read them.

Hamas Starts a War on Christmas Eve: After Weekend Attacks, Israeli Civilian Death from Sniper fire, Israel Responds

After a weekend of Islamic attacks against Israel, I warned that "the savages are itching for a war -- it's imminent." And I was right.

On Tuesday, Hamas shot and killed an Israel civilian (above) fixing a fence after the storm.
Defense Ministry worker was fixing fence after storm; Hamas braces for retaliation; Palestinian said wounded by IDF as additional troops deploy
An Israeli man working on the border fence was killed by sniper fire Tuesday afternoon along the Gaza Strip.
The man, 22-year-old Saleh Abu Latif from the predominantly Bedouin city of Rahat, was working between Nahal Oz and Kfar Aza as a civilian employed by the Israeli Defense Ministry on repairs to a section of the Israel-Gaza border fence damaged in last week’s storm. The fence had collapsed in three locations due to the storm.
Typical of Muslim warfare: they start on Christmas eve. Religious holidays are always a favored day for war and bloodshed for devout Muslims waging jihad.
Of course, the media didn't report any of this, and won't until the Israelis react (which is long overdue).
The Israelis have finally responded. And so will the media. Continued

World Youth Chess Championships in UAE obliterate Israel

Absolutely NO international events should be hosted in muslim countries. These countries should be treated as pariah states. While there is controversy regarding Russia’s attitude toward homosexuals since that country is hosting the winter Olympics, the world repeatedly tolerates displays of blatant islamic Jew-hatred during international events, whether it be chess tournaments, the Olympics, tennis tournaments etc.

World Youth Chess Championships in UAE obliterate Israel, list Israeli players as from the nation “FIDE” (World Chess Federation)

BY Robert Spencer, JIHAD WATCH
FIDE copy.jpgFIDE players and the FIDE flag
Four years ago, I posted here about a controversy over the Turks not playing the Israeli national anthem for Marsel Efroimski, an Israeli girl who won the Girls’ Under-14 World Chess Championship at the World Youth Chess Championships, which were played in Turkey that year.

Once again this year, the World Youth Chess Championships are being held in a Muslim nation: the United Arab Emirates, and predictably, once again the Muslim hosts are demonstrating their anti-Semitism. This fresh controversy has been noted in a news report at ChessBase, a highly respected chess news site, as well as in a comment on the blog of Ben Finegold, the coach of the US delegation.
Here is the report at ChessBase:
One very unfortunate development concerns the Israeli players and delegation. The official site, which lists all the players and nationalities, took down the Israeli flag and has even gone so far as to rename them from the country “FIDE”, attributing them the FIDE flag as well. It is a very unfortunate precedent for the World Youth, and unheard of until now.

After Chess City, there is now the new country FIDE
FIDE is the acronym of the World Chess Federation — the global governing body for chess tournaments. Then there’s this comment at Finegold Chess, which has more details:
Ben, maybe you can answer this question because I can’t find anyone else on the scene who might know!
When the World Youth Championships started in Al Ain, all the countries were listed on the “Players” page ( — and included on that list was “Israel,” which, when clicked, showed the individual player listings for the 8 or so competitors from Israel.
But sometime in the last 3 days or so, the word “Israel” was inexplicably DELETED from the list of participating nations, and a NEW “entry” appeared on the list of participating nations: “FIDE.”
When one clicks on the “FIDE” nation-entry, now all the formerly Israeli players are listed there (
What apparently happened (as far as I can tell) is that the organizers (or another nation) complained about or refused to allow “Israel” to participate in the championships, so the Israeli national association was expelled from the tournament — and yet the players were allowed to continue playing directly under the aegis of FIDE, just so long as they did not identify as being from Israel.
Even stranger, some of the individual Israeli/FIDE players have ZERO results posted, which seems to indicate that they are not actually playing in the tournament, despite being listed as participants. Either that, or they ARE participating, but their games are not being reported on for some reason.
If I had to guess, I suspect that some of the Israeli players withdrew from the tournament in protest after their national identity was stripped from them.
This is especially tragic in the Girls Under 18 division where the #3 seed (Marsel Efroimski), who had a very good performance at the recent Olympiad and was thus one of the favorites to win the division, is not participating (as far as I can tell) in the 2013 World Youth Championships either because she withdrew or was expelled.
All of this is speculation, however, so I ask you Ben: What is the real story? Could you please ask the ISRAEL/FIDE coach what is going on, and then report back here? I (and the world) would be very interested to know.
Chess should be free of politics, and it is disturbing to see stuff like this going on, if that indeed what is happening. Help! You are our only source of information!
December 22, 2013 at 2:44 PM
Note that the same Jewish girl chess champion whom the Islamic supremacists targeted in 2009, Marsel Efroimski, either withdrew or was expelled this time.
At the World Youth Chess Championships 2013 website, the story checks out: the Israeli players are now listed as belonging to the nation of “FIDE,” complete with the FIDE flag.

Vile, Jew-Hating Richard Falk is at it Again

And just what kind of "punishment" does Israel inflict upon the "Palestinians"? Jobs, superior health care and education?

Canada Wants U.N. Official Ousted Over ‘Palestinian Holocaust’ Comment,The Jewish Press, December 21, 2013
Ottawa “completely rejects and condemns” the “appalling” remarks made by Richard Falk, U.N. Special Rapporteur for the Palestinian Territories, Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird said in a statement. Canada has previously called for Falk to be fired “for his numerous outrageous and anti-Semitic statements,” Baird said, “and these [latest] comments underscore once more the complete and total absurdity of his service as a UN Special Rapporteur.” Baird again called on the U.N. Human Rights Council “to remove Falk from his position immediately.” In a Dec. 15 interview on Russia’s English television news channel RT, Falk was asked about a past article he had written in which he said that Israel was “slouching toward nothing less than a Palestinian holocaust.” Falk told RT, “When you target a group, an ethnic group and inflict this kind of punishment upon them, you are in effect nurturing a kind of criminal intention that is genocidal.” Baird said the comments not only “undermine the fundamental values of the United Nations, they also belittle the terrible genocides that have tragically taken place throughout history and around the world.” Israel’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor also attacked Falk’s statements, The Jerusalem Post reported. “This man has already branded himself as the radical version of extremism,” Palmor said.

Dems Breaking With Obama on Iran Sanctions

A few years ago liberals were arguing not to rush to war with Iran and that sanctions would be a preferable option to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Now they are saying that even sanctions are too aggressive a measure. The bottom line is that the left was never interested in preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons. They are in fact ok with Iran having nuclear weapons

Senate Breaks With White House on Iran," By Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, December 20, 213
New sanctions introduced this afternoon despite White House pleas
A bipartisan group of senators filed a new Iran sanctions measure on Thursday afternoon, just days after the White House and its Democratic allies successfully killed a similar measure.
The White House released a statement Thursday afternoon saying the president would veto the bill if it passes.
The bill, sponsored by Sens. Mark Kirk (R., Ill.) and Robert Menendez (D., N.J.), would impose tougher sanctions on Tehran if it refuses to dismantle its contested nuclear program after the end of a six-month negotiating period.
The White House and its allies in the Senate fought tooth and nail last week to kill a similar measure backed by Kirk and Menendez.
However, the issue of greater sanctions continues to garner bipartisan support among Republicans and centrist Democrats in Congress, leaving the White House with few avenues to stymie the new bill.
The bill would give the White House up to a year to negotiate with Iran before tighter sanctions take effect.
The regulations would take effect sooner if Iran reneges on any aspect of the interim nuclear deal, launches a ballistic missile, or plans a terror attack against the United States, according to reports and sources familiar with the legislation.
The bill has already garnered support from a quarter of the Senate and could come to a vote next month.
The Iranians have stated multiple times that they will leave the negotiating table if any new sanctions take effect.
Iranian negotiators abruptly left talks last week after the White House announced additional sanctions designations under existing legislation.
Capitol Hill insiders say that the White House and allies like Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) would like to delay a vote on the measure despite overwhelming support.
“Clearly the White House has loyal foot soldiers in the Senate who will do or say anything to block for the president,” said one senior congressional aide familiar with the new legislation. “The problem is that when you try to put politics ahead of policy you end up out of step with the American people. Try as they might, these partisans will not win.”
CNN correspondent Wolf Blitzer said he sees no reason why the bill should stall.
“I assume it will pass, especially since they give the Iranians a year to comply with this deal, this interim deal, if it works out, these new sanctions would not go into effect in the course of the year,” Blitzer said during a Thursday afternoon report on the measure.
“If it doesn’t work out, the sanctions would go into effect,” Blitzer said. “I assume it would pass the Senate if allowed to come up for a vote, pass the House of Representatives. Here’s the question, I don’t know if we have reaction from the White House. If the House passes it, the Senate passes it, would the president veto it or sign it into law?”
Meanwhile, Iran launched a new series of war drills on Thursday and continued to accuse the White House of breaching the terms of the nuclear deal.

CAIR Pushing islam on the Public Schools

Once again CAIR is promoting a fictional narrative of muslim victimization in order to get special accommodations in the public schools for muslims. It is more likely that muslim students are the ones doing the bullying, against Jewish students. We know this is happening in colleges across the country.

The terror-tied jihadist group, Hamas-CAIR, has conjured up another fictitious report designed to advance a fallacious and supremacist victimhood narrative using school children (emulating Hamas, which uses children as human shields). The Council on American-Islamic Relations will hold news conferences in Anaheim, San Diego, Santa Clara, and Sacramento to release a "first-of-its-kind" report  about -- get this -- the bullying of American Muslim students in California schools.
CAIR's treacherous propaganda attack and incitement could easily provoke a Muslim backlash against non-Muslims, particularly among the devout and jihadist adherents much like the Wichita Muslim convert who tried to blow up the airport last week at peak travel time.
The irony is that Muslim student groups (MSA, MSU et al) are notorious for bullying, harassing and intimidating students -- especially Jewish students -- on school campuses across the country.
And recent FBI statistics show that the majority of religiously motivated hate crimes -- over 62% -- are against Jews. Anti-Muslim crime dropped off yet again (11.6%).

Jihad in Kansas Averted

The media is whitewashing the fact that Terry Loewen  is a muslim convert. The media must think that if they label him white and call him by his birth name, we won't realize he's a muslim. How stupid do they think we are?

Arabs Throw Rocks Packed in Snowballs at Jewish Drivers in Jerusalem

Such innovation, always inventing new ways to commit murder. This is the islamic contribution to civilization. Meanwhile Israelis are inventing new ways to save lives.

"Arabs Attack Jewish Drivers with Rocks Packed in Snowballs," Jewish Press December 12, 2013
The snow in Jerusalem Thursday no [sic] only did not stop Arabs from attacking Jewish motorists with rocks but also helped them to do sin [sic] by disguising the rocks as snowballs.
Pelting drivers with snowballs is a dangerous hobby all over the world because if they are like ice, the projectiles can easily break a window or simply cause the driver to panic and cause an accident.
That is the objective of Arabs who throw rocks at Jewish drivers every day, but two Haredim were suppressed [sic] Thursday when “snowballs” crashed through their window in the Beit Hanina neighborhood in Jerusalem.
As the snowballs melted away, the rocks were exposed.
No one was injured in the ambush, but their car sustained damage.

"Honor" Murders Double in "palestinian" Run Territories

Honor Killings Double in "Palestinian" territories
Some activists believe the rise in honour killings indicates social and economic problems are mounting in the territories, where Palestinians exercise limited self-rule but Israel holds ultimate sovereignty, including over commerce.

Palestinian Minister of Women's Affairs Rabiha Diab saved much of her blame for violence toward women for Israel: "The Israeli occupation is the one practising the utmost violence ... it's the main thing keeping us from advancing."There's been a deterioration, financial and psychological pressure on our society, poverty. But there are also certain backward cultural legacies that must be combated," she said.
Predictable, blame the Jews even when muslims murder members of their own family. Al reuters is all too happy to shift responsibility for muslim "honor" murders onto the Jewish state. What's another blood libel if it helps to advance their false narrative of "Palestinian" victimhood and Israeli oppressors? But how to explain away the "honor" murders taking place throughout the rest of the muslim world and even among muslims living in the west?

Nazi Roger Waters Continues Slandering Israel and Jews

Speaking of morally degenerate, antisemitic British celebrities, it's "crushingly obvious" that roger waters should be compared to a nazi. What a vile creature this is. He clearly knows that Israel is NOT remotely an apartheid state and does NOT occupy anyone else's land. What else motivates him to perpetuate these lies other than pure Jew-hatred? What is it with the British elite's obsessive hatred of the Jewish state, even as muslims are destroying England?

Slandering the Jewish State

This isn't really about the Bedouins, it is just another pretext to bash the Jewish state. Why don't these ignorant, uninformed and antisemitic British celebrities worry about fixing their own rotting, increasingly islamized country instead of obsessively slandering the Jewish state?

Guardian prejudice aside, Israel is helping Bedouins

It is hard to believe that Julie Christie and the other 49 people, actors, writers, artists, musicians, who signed The Guardian letter really want the Bedouins to remain in squalor. Israel most certainly does not

Some of the usual suspects in the politically correct British company of Israel-bashers are at it again. This time, fifty public figures signed a letter in The Guardian on November 29, 2013 demanding that the British government protest what the letter called "forced displacement of Bedouin Palestinians" by Israel.
Not only should these automatic critics be ashamed of themselves for their insufferable ignorance and arrogance, but they are also espousing a politically reactionary, not progressive, point of view.
The letter was signed by "experts" on people, law, and conditions in the Negev in Israel, such as the actress Julie Christie, the film-makers Mike Leigh and Ken Loach, and members of Parliament, including Jeremy Corbyn and Lady Jenny Tonge.
Many of the signers have long exhibited their acute criticism or hostility on many occasions, having signed statements about alleged violations of something or other by Israel. It is less clear their "expertise" extends to mastery of the intricacies of Ottoman Land Law in the Middle East.
All can agree that the Bedouins, numbering 210,000 in the Negev, are the most impoverished group in Israel, and one with serious social problems.
They have a high birth rate -- 5 percent, one of the highest in the world -- and about 120,000 are under 18 years old. They suffer from a high poverty rate and also a high crime rate. To help them over the years, Israel has provided and still is allocating considerable resources -- about 1.2 billion shekels -- for development in the Negev in areas of employment, education, infrastructure, and personal security.
The tribal Bedouin population is still partly nomadic, as well as partly settled. To foster their development and integration into mainstream society, Israel has attempted their settlement with so far partial success. Between 1968 and 1989, Israel built seven townships, including Rahat and Hura, in the Northern Negev for Bedouins and provided housing, health, utilities, public services, and education.
About half of the Bedouins went there, and the rest remained in their villages.
As nomads, Bedouins have wandered across the area, and many in the Negev come from Arabia, Sinai, and Egypt. Slowly, they have been making the transition from animal husbandry to agriculture in the context of modernization and urbanization in Israeli society.
The Bedouins face problems of tension between tradition and change. Most important, the problem of Bedouin ownership of land and the settlements in which they live has perplexed Israel for many years.
Israel has been confronted with a number of issues: settling Bedouin ownership claims to land, ending the villages built illegally, fully integrating the Bedouins into Israeli society and economic prosperity, reducing the economic and social gap between the Bedouins and Israel society as a whole, and in general developing the Negev with emphasis on employment, education, and the rule of law.
Instead of welcoming Israeli efforts to deal with these complex issues, the uninformed and prejudiced letter in The Guardian criticizes the Israeli Prawer-Begin plan to deal with them. This plan was presented by a committee chaired by Ehud Prawer, head of the Department for Policy Planning in the Office of the Prime Minister.
The bill proposing the implementation of the plan was accepted in principle, after an impassioned debate in the Knesset, by 43-40 on June 13, 2013. It obviously will undergo revision on details before its final passage.
Land, appropriate settlement, and economic development are related. About 40 percent of Bedouins live in "unrecognized villages."  These villages, 45 in the Negev, were built without official permission and therefore are not recognized or eligible for municipal services. More than 70,000 Bedouins live in homes that are not regulated, in buildings constructed illegally and with unresolved land ownership claims.
The Prawer plan would lead to decision on Bedouin claims to land ownership, based on land claims made according to the land survey in Northern Negev in 1971. In a general way, the Israeli plan is concerned with economic development and growth for all in the Negev, particularly focusing on employment, and education, including higher education.
Specifically, the idea is to expand existing towns and to build 41 new villages or towns, and to relocate about 40,000 Bedouins with compensation to designated towns from their "unrecognized" villages. In the new towns, the homes would be equipped with modern utilities, and the inhabitants would have title to about a quarter of an acre of land.
A major controversial problem is that of land ownership. According to the Land Law of the Ottoman Empire, which ruled the area for almost five hundred years, lands that were not registered as private were considered state lands.
Bedouins did not usually register, largely because of fear of taxation and military duties.  Israeli law on the issue is derived from British Mandatory law, which incorporated Ottoman Law to a substantial degree.
Bedouin claims to land rights are hard to prove. Nevertheless, the Prawer plan does not disregard Bedouin property rights, nor does it fail to recognize appropriate land ownership or refer to Bedouins in derogatory terms. The plan for reform does not have as its objective discrimination and separation.
Critics of Israeli intentions hold that the tribal structures and agricultural way of life should be maintained in the Bedouin villages, and that the "unrecognized" villages, which cover less than five percent of the area of the Negev, should remain. It is true that Bedouins have their own culture, honor code, and code of laws.
But though the status quo may be sentimentally nostalgic, to fight for its existence amounts to a reactionary argument.
Not only is the claim of beneficial association of those "unrecognized" villages to historic ties overstated, but to honor it would also mean leaving Bedouins in a less developed, really backward condition, lacking basic services of water, electricity, telephones, roads, schools, and health clinics.
Do the signers of the letter know that some of the villages, which they implicitly sentimentally admire, presently consist of a few shacks made from corrugated iron?
It is hard to believe that Julie Christie and the other 49 people, actors, writers, artists, musicians, who signed The Guardian letter really want the Bedouins to remain in this condition. If they really do not approve the modernization and economic development of the Bedouins and would like to see them remain in squalor, they should say so.

Judge Orders Bakery to Sell Wedding Cakes to Gay Couples

This is nuts. How can a business be ordered to sell something? That couple could have just gone to another bakery. I'm sure there are many who would gladly have accepted them as customers, but no, they make trouble for these bakery owners by going to court and forcing them to go against their beliefs. This was about making a political statement. The left does not believe in freedom of choice, they want to force us to comply with their beliefs. And I would bet that if this was a muslim owned bakery, no way the judge would have made this ruling.

A bakery that refused to sell wedding cakes to same-sex couples has been ordered to do so following a court battle.

Released Murderers Boast on PA TV

This is sickening. And what did Israel get in return for this concession? Obama and Kerry allowed Iran to go nuclear. This is why Israel should have the death penalty.
Released prisoner: "We'd chat, talk, eat, drink, joke and play"
Released prisoner:
"[In prison] we'd chat, talk, eat, drink,

Released murderer:

Prisoners' relatives:

in Israeli prisons are fine

Israel recently released 52 of 104 imprisoned terrorists to accommodate the Palestinian Authority's precondition to return to negotiations. Palestinian Media Watch documented that the terrorists, who were all murderers, were received by the PA leadership as heroes. As part of its ongoing glorification of the terrorists, PA TV interviewed Asrar Samrin who was serving a life sentence for the murder of Israeli Tzvi Klein (Dec. 3, 1991). The murderer explained that "the first question all Israeli media ask every released prisoner is: 'Do you regret what you did or not?'" His answer was:

"Through the great PA TV, I say to the Israelis: There is no Palestinian who did something for the homeland and his nation who will regret it. We don't regret what we did and we will not regret what we did."

Brzezinski Blames Jews for Mideast Turmoil

Just to be clear, I do not at all agree with Goldberg's opinion about the settlements. I only agree with his points about how they have nothing to do with the vast turmoil in the Middle East.

How the Syrian civil war, sunnis and shiites slaughtering each other, the muslim brotherhood overthrow of Mubarak followed by the military overthrow of morsi, the overthrow of gaddaffi and the massacring of Americans in Benghazi, the persecution and slaughter of Christians in muslim countries etc. have all been caused by Jews building in their homeland, I would like to know the answer to that.

Only a vicious Jew-hater like Brzezinski could come up with such a stretch of logic.

It wouldn’t occur to him that the vast problems in the Middle East have anything to do with islam and its primitive and violent culture.

Middle East mess isn’t about settlements

By Geoffrey Goldberg, Bloomberg
In an interview with Charles Gati in Politico Magazine, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who served as national security adviser to Jimmy Carter, proves once again that he is a man of profound religious faith. He worships at the Church of Linkage, which holds that Israel’s settlement policy on the West Bank is the primary cause of Middle East instability and a principal cause — if not the main cause — of the U.S.’s troubles in the Muslim world.
Before I go on, the usual caveats: The settlement project — especially those settlements far from Jerusalem that have been planted in the middle of thickly populated Palestinian areas — is a strategic and moral disaster for Israel. The settlements should be dismantled. They threaten Israel’s standing in the world; they threaten to undermine the very nature and purpose of Israel. And so on. I’ve written before about the threat that settlements pose, at great length.

But there is danger in thinking that the removal of these settlements would bring about a liberal, enlightened Middle East. The danger is analytical: If you don’t understand what ails the Middle East, how can you possibly fix it? It is also dangerous to scapegoat Israel for problems it didn’t cause, in the same way that it has historically been quite dangerous to blame the Jewish people for problems they didn’t cause. Brzezinski’s native Poland provides lessons in this regard.
Brzezinski has had hard feelings toward Israel for years, and he has been consistent in suggesting that American Jews possess too much political power. In Politico, he asserts in drive-by fashion — which is to say without offering proof to buttress his contention — that “the Jewish community is the most active political community in American society.”
Here is what Brzezinski told Politico about President Barack Obama’s failure to force Israel to permanently freeze settlements: “At a critical juncture he failed to show he had steel in his back, he failed to follow through. He spoke on the record and very sensibly about the settlements, but when a confrontation developed between him and [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] Netanyahu, Obama caved in. That has contributed significantly to the general mess we now have in the Middle East.”
Brzezinski is referring to one of Obama’s earliest confrontations with Netanyahu. Early in his first term, the president demanded that Israel stop building in the settlements as a confidence-building measure in advance of peace negotiations. Israel gave in partially, but only partially, and when settlement building continued, Obama offered rhetoric but did nothing concrete to shape Israel’s behavior.
Obama’s mistake was to make a public demand of an ally (and a client) and then have no Plan B ready when that ally refused to listen. Netanyahu’s unwillingness to reverse himself on settlements — an unwillingness born of careerism as much as anything else (his governing coalition includes a disproportionate number of settlers and their sympathizers) — has hurt Israel, but has it actually, as Brzezinski alleges, “contributed significantly to the general mess we now have in the Middle East”?
Let’s look at the Middle East as it is today. Here is a partial catalog of phenomena that plausibly illustrate the idea that the Middle East is a “general mess”:
1. Tensions over Iran’s nuclear program. Jewish settlements did not provoke Iranian leaders to build the infrastructure of a nuclear weapons program. Regional ambitions, fear of American domination, a desire to counterbalance Saudi Arabia and opposition to Israel’s existence (as opposed to its settlement policy) have all contributed to Iran’s nuclear policy decision making.
2. The broad anger directed at the U.S. by the governments of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Egypt. Though these governments pay lip service to the Palestinian cause, the source of their current anger with the U.S. stems from the Obama administration’s decision to negotiate with Iran.
3. The Syrian civil war, in which more than 100,000 people have died so far. The Syrian cataclysm does not appear to be traceable to Israel’s West Bank settlement policy or Obama’s failure to challenge it.
4. The regionwide schism between Sunni and Shia Muslims, which manifests itself in violence and disorder, not only in Syria, but also in Lebanon, Bahrain, Iraq and, beyond the Middle East, in Pakistan. This schism does not seem to be caused by settlements.
5. The slow-motion collapse, amid horrendous violence, of Iraq as a unitary state. A settlement freeze on the West Bank will not stop the dissolution of Iraq.
6. Continued political instability and violence in Egypt. Tensions among Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers, advocates of liberalism and the Egyptian military would not be ameliorated by a settlement freeze. The overthrow of former President Hosni Mubarak was not prompted by Obama’s failure to confront settlements. Nor was the subsequent coup launched against the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Mursi triggered by settlements.
7. Libya’s descent into gangsterism and chaos. The civil war that led to the ouster and death of Muammar Qaddafi was not caused by settlements. Nor was the fatal attack on the American consulate in Benghazi. It is difficult to imagine how a settlement freeze on the West Bank would stabilize Libya.
8. The proliferation, from Somalia to Yemen to Syria to Pakistan, of al-Qaeda-affiliated and -inspired groups. Settlements have not “contributed significantly” to persistent al-Qaeda activity. It could be argued that the existence of a Jewish state in the Middle East is one of several sources of anger for al-Qaeda sympathizers, but a settlement freeze, as opposed to the elimination of Israel as a country, would not affect the views of radical Sunni terrorists. It could also be argued that the annihilation of Israel would empower radical terrorists by making them believe that they were one step closer to the establishment of a global caliphate.
9. Pathological misogyny that impoverishes the lives of millions and weakens countries that would otherwise be able to tap into the brainpower of their women. A settlement freeze would not lead to the widespread liberation of women.
10. The persecution of Christians in a dozen countries across the Muslim world, which will eventually lead to the elimination of these ancient communities. This persecution was not caused by Netanyahu’s recalcitrance on settlements.
And so on. I’ve neglected to mention such issues as literacy, water shortages, corruption, education stagnation, torture and the suppression of free speech, all of which contribute to general instability in the Middle East. The willingness of esteemed foreign-policy thinkers such as Brzezinski to scapegoat the Jewish state for problems it did not cause is myopic and dangerous.
